Hogwarts starts with stealing power.

Chapter 606 Breaking the Time Loop, Even Greater Power!

Isaac was stunned by Hermione's words.

He murmured softly, "Can people like us also have a chance at redemption?"

Hermione retorted, "Why not? You're just a low-level infected person. Many intermediate-level infected people haven't given up on saving themselves. You're only in the initial stage of infection, so why should you give up on yourself?"

Isaac was stunned; no one had ever said such a thing to him before.

Once his companions learned that he had been infected by the evil god's ravings, they would all look at him with pity.

No one ever told him that it didn't matter if he got infected, because there would be a chance to be saved.

Hermione's lips moved slightly, as if she wanted to say something, but she suddenly realized that she was in a time loop.

No matter how profound her words were, Isaac would forget them the next day.

The right path is to break the cycle, truly reach out to Isaac, and help him regain his confidence.

So she didn't say anything more, but encouraged Isaac with a firm gaze not to give up on himself.

It was still early, and Hermione had already successfully cast Mind Key Resonance. Instead of staying with Isaac, she walked out of the alley and pushed open another narrow shop door.

Brass bells jingled, and what came into view was a cramped and narrow space, with thousands of wands stacked from the floor to the ceiling.

Ollivander's voice came from inside the house, and Hermione was lost in memories. She could also smell the musty smell of pine wax mixed with parchment.

Ollivander peeked out from behind a mountain of wand boxes, and Hermione, seeing this, automatically connected it to the scene when she first came to the wand shop.

His silvery-white pupils narrowed to slits. "You are...Miss Granger?"

"I remember your wand is—"

"Wisteria wood with a dragon heartstring, 10 and 3/4 inches long. Wisteria wood wands are usually chosen by wizards who are ambitious and gifted, embodying elegance and wisdom."

Hermione finished speaking in one breath, leaving Ollivander stunned on the spot.

“Miss Granger.” He looked Hermione over again. “You seem very familiar with your wand, and I see that it is undamaged. What brings you here?”

Hermione smiled and said, "I just came to say hello. Unless something unexpected happens, I won't be coming back this winter break."

Ollivander listened, completely bewildered.

"Ding dong!"

The brass bell jingled again as Hermione left the wand shop.

A hint of doubt flashed across Ollivander's eyes as he muttered, "What is she talking about? I only met her for the first time this winter break, and she didn't come over before."

Hermione walked around Diagon Alley, greeting everyone she should and shouldn't greet.

As she passed Gringotts, a hint of interest flashed in her eyes, and she made a special trip there to say she wanted to do a big deal with the goblins.

She said she could provide a strong fire dragon, but the fairy would have to pay her a huge sum of Galleons, which could not be paid in installments.

The goblins in Gringotts didn't believe it at first, but some of them noticed that she was Harry's frequent companion and hesitated for a moment.

They speculated that Hermione's visit to discuss business might be at Harry's behest.

Thinking about it carefully, does this mean that Harry and his friends have acquired a dragon without Hogwarts knowing about it?

Otherwise, if Hogwarts found out, Gringotts wouldn't have a place.

Even the professors at the school wished they could skin this fire dragon alive, tear out its tendons, and not even spare its marrow.

With that thought in mind, the goblins of Gringotts were filled with excitement and actually started doing business with Hermione.

Even Hermione was surprised that the goblins were so easily fooled.

As they talked, she suddenly realized what the fairy was thinking, and it dawned on her.

To put it bluntly, it's all thanks to Harry.

She thought to herself, "Ever since Harry pulled the Sword of Gryffindor out of Hogsmeade and destroyed the evil god, his influence is even greater than before."

Even without Harry, I can use his reputation to trick the goblins into signing agreements with me.

"If Harry were there, wouldn't it have been much smoother for him to do business with the goblins?"

But Hermione shook her head when she saw the goblin's smug, overjoyed, greedy, and mercenary expression.

"Forget it, Harry should just stay at Hogwarts. If we let him go out and do business, won't he get stripped naked by these goblins?"

Hermione signed the agreement with Gringotts, and in front of all the goblins, she picked up the magically enchanted parchment contract.

She winked playfully at the fairies and smiled.

With a tearing sound, she ripped the parchment to shreds.

The fairies stared at her in shock.

One of the fairies was so shocked that she leaned forward too much, stumbled, and fell to the ground, hitting her face down.

"You, you...you've broken the contract! You'll incur the wrath of us fairies, and Gringotts will never welcome you!"

Hermione smiled slyly, "Let's talk about it when you can actually remember this."

She whistled, swayed, and skipped out of Gringotts.

The goblins of Gringotts watched her retreating figure with anger and rage, saying, "Put Hermione Granger on our blacklist! Gringotts will never accept her savings account again!"

The goblins, filled with rage, went to settle accounts with Hermione's Galleons stored in Gringotts. Since Hermione had broken the contract, they had no choice but to empty all of her Galleons!
But it wasn't until the goblins went to check that they discovered Hermione hadn't opened any savings accounts at Gringotts.

During her first year at Hogwarts, she even started storing Galleons in the facility.

But after the second year of school, they took out all the Galleons.

Not only her, but several others from the same period also cleared out their savings accounts at Gringotts.

They are Draco Malfoy, Lin Xia, and Ron Weasley.

Even Harry Potter withdrew a large amount of his savings from Gringotts.

The fairy roared angrily, "She must have planned this all along, setting a trap for us a year in advance, just to humiliate Gringotts! We cannot let this go!"

The other fairies chimed in, "We cannot tolerate this! We cannot tolerate this!"
-
Just after midnight, Hermione opened her eyes again.

She had already returned to her room.

She took a few long breaths and began searching her memory.

She remembered that on the day the time loop began, she went to read a book as usual, and accidentally obtained three advanced spells in one of them.

What special thing happened that day?
Hermione thought for a moment and remembered.

That day was actually quite ordinary. She didn't know why these three advanced spells were mixed in with the book. It was as if someone had deliberately delivered these three spells to her and specifically asked her to learn them.

She could have ignored it, but subconsciously she felt that these three advanced spells were very important to her.

As she was preparing to learn the spells, one of the books accidentally touched the edge of the time-tamper (the gold pocket watch), causing the watch's hands to turn slightly.

Since it was only turned slightly, not enough to reverse time, she reset the gold pocket watch to eliminate the effect of the slight turn.

Hermione recalled Professor McGonagall's instructions to her after she obtained the Time-Turner.

"Each time the hourglass is turned, it can only be turned back by 1 hour, and the total time of turning back must not exceed 5 hours, otherwise it may cause irreversible physical damage. Any attempt to change the situation actually contributes to the predetermined event."

Users cannot change observed outcomes: if someone dies, it cannot be prevented even after rewinding...

If you accidentally touched the time converter and don't want to go back in time, you can correct it.

Rotate clockwise three times, and then, before the pointer starts to move again, quickly rotate counterclockwise three times. This will correct all the results.

McGonagall solemnly instructed, "Humans cannot understand time, nor can they bear the consequences of desecrating it."

Some mistakes can never be undone by reversing time. With every gain comes a corresponding price, some of which can be unimaginable. Hermione's heart raced; she hadn't thought that far ahead while making corrections at the bookstore.

She had repaired the gold pocket watch before, and nothing had ever gone wrong.

I don't know why that correction caused her to be permanently trapped in a time loop.

She took a few deep breaths and recited the key points: "Spin three times clockwise, and then, before the pointer starts to move, quickly spin three times counterclockwise..."

"Crack," "Crack"...

The sound of the gold pocket watch turning rang out, like the grinding of gears in a music box that needs to be turned to produce sound.

After completing the clockwise rotation, Hermione immediately began rotating counterclockwise.

During this process, she dared not look at the gold pocket watch, for fear that her attention would be distracted by it.

Only after everything was done did she dare to look at the pocket watch in her hand.

"1, 2, 3."

As he silently counted to "3", the hour and minute hands of the gold pocket watch changed and suddenly began to spin rapidly.

Not only that, the surrounding scenery seemed to be constantly rewinding, and even her figure became slightly illusory and hazy.

At first, she was still in her bedroom.

In no time, the bedroom was transformed into a library.

A moment later, the scene changed to Diagon Alley...

The scene changed faster and faster, quickly distorting and blurring into a blurry blur.

A sudden burst of intense white light erupted before her eyes, and Hermione instinctively closed them.

She breathed heavily for a few seconds, then opened her eyes again and found herself lying on the bed instead of standing.

Hermione's eyes darted around as she surveyed her surroundings, her brow furrowing slightly.

"I'm still in my bedroom. Did turning the gold pocket watch not change anything?"

She suddenly remembered something, ran out of bed, and took out the digital clock to check.

My heart suddenly skipped a beat!
"Friday! I've arrived on Friday! I'm finally out of the time loop!"

Hermione let out a joyful shout, rolling around on the bed, suppressing her ecstatic excitement.

The time loop is great, allowing you to continuously learn knowledge without interruption, making it ideal for self-study.

But humans are ultimately social creatures.

Her time kept moving forward, while everyone else's time remained stuck in the past. After a long time of time loops, even Hermione felt that her life was frozen on that day.

Only after exiting the loop did she feel a real sense of existence.

Hermione felt some changes in her body, but she was too tired. Although her mind was excited, she couldn't help feeling the heavy fatigue in her body.

She lay in bed and fell asleep peacefully.
-
Good morning, Mom!

Hermione felt like she had slept for a very, very long time. The moment she opened her eyes, she saw her mother's face in front of her.

The mother said in surprise, "Why did you sleep until noon today? I called you a few times this morning, thinking you were already up, and then I went to work. I only found out you hadn't gotten up when I came back to cook lunch today."

Hermione said sweetly, "Mom, I've been a little tired lately, so I've been sleeping in."

Ms. Granger reached out and touched her forehead with concern. "Do you have a fever?"

Hermione let her mother do as she pleased, and her mother said with concern, "Although it seems there's nothing wrong, you should still go to the hospital for a check-up this afternoon."

Hermione shook her head: "Mom, I'm fine. I know very well that I'm just a little tired. I'll recover after a few days of rest."

She had no intention of discussing that topic, and instead asked, "Mom, what day of the week is it today?"

Ms. Granger smiled and said, "Friday, do you have any plans for today?"

Hermione couldn't help but smile, trying to suppress her excitement, and shook her head, saying:

"No, it just suddenly occurred to me that our family hasn't eaten out together in a long time. How about we go out to eat today and invite Dad along!"

Ms. Granger said with a beaming smile, "Great, we've been quite busy lately."

"Your father is busy opening a branch in the US. He says he has already found a partner. The policies there are very lenient, as you said, especially for doing business, and they are also vigorously promoting various tax-free policies."

“The shop is still under preparation. There is a lack of technical personnel there. Once the shop opens, your father and I may have to make a trip to the United States.”

Hermione quickly said, "I think the development of the United States is better than that of the United Kingdom. Maybe our whole family can move to the United States. Besides, I don't go to school here and I don't usually come home, so you don't have to worry about me not being able to take care of myself."

"I just hope that my parents' business will grow bigger and bigger and go smoothly, that they can find a good business environment and live a comfortable, safe and happy life."

Mrs. Granger affectionately stroked Hermione's hair. "My darling, you will always be our pride, without exception."

After her mother went to work, Hermione ate lunch and then began to examine what changes had occurred in her body.

Hermione looked at herself in the mirror and touched her face.

She is stuck on Thursday for almost 10 years, but time has not changed her at all; her appearance and body do not look like they have been through 10 years.

Hermione believes that the effects of the nearly ten-year-long cycle must exist, but they are not yet apparent.

She remembered Professor McGonagall's words perfectly—

Every gain comes with a price.

She sighed deeply, hoping that the side effects of these ten years could be resolved in the future.

Besides, the 10 years have also brought her many benefits.

She noticed something was wrong in the early hours of the morning, but she was too exhausted to do anything else, so she decided to rest and go to sleep.

Hermione held her wand, but did not wave it or cast a spell. She simply used the wand to feel the flow of magic within her body more clearly and deeply.

The magic within her body had become much stronger, far exceeding the standard of an adult wizard!
Moreover, she discovered that she had a completely new understanding of all basic spells, including intermediate spells.

These understandings are all based on the changes that came about after she learned those three advanced spells.

She uses a higher level of thinking to view lower-level spells, enabling her to identify their flaws and change them.

Hermione instinctively gripped her wand tighter.

This change is absolutely fascinating!

She felt that she didn't need a wand for any of the low-level spells; she could simply wave her hand and cast them at will.

What surprised her most was the change in her talent for ancient runes.

Originally, her talent for ancient magic script was average, but now she finds that she can understand it much more easily.

This sense of ease was a gift from those three advanced spells.

Faster launch, greater power, and easier spellcasting!
Hermione felt incredibly strong, more powerful than ever before.

The long, tedious process, in exchange for such powerful strength, is well worth it.

She even had a fleeting thought: what if she continued to enter the time loop?

But soon, that thought of hers disappeared.

Hermione knew that it was very fortunate that she hadn't physically collapsed after being trapped in the time loop.

Many wizards underestimated the impact of time and were thus unable to recover, leading to physical collapse and disintegration.

She couldn't replicate that success; she had to continue steadily, step by step. (End of Chapter)
