I am an immortal in heaven and earth

Chapter 369: Not a Dragon, but an Adult

Chapter 369: Not a Dragon, but an Adult
There is actually nothing to retain.

Or one person thinks the other person will not leave, and the other person thinks the other person will try to keep them. Anyway, it all goes wrong.

But this is not these lingering love affairs, it is a separation, a mistake in the route, one left, one right, if there is no one to subdue and hold down the two ends, they are destined to separate.

At this time, the conflicts between humans and demons are minor conflicts, or the conflicts between two sects have already touched upon the essence of humanity.

Of course, neither of them realized it and both thought it was just a different choice.

Chen Liuxian watched her leave, feeling a strong impulse in his heart, as if he was melancholy, as if possessed, and as if he realized that he was about to lose something important.

But if he really catches up, what does it matter? This is obviously not "you can have your cake and eat it too". He is also a Yushan man and has a mortal heart. Apart from anything else, if he can really build such a world with his own hands, he doesn't need to become a god in heaven, and he can live a god-like life.

If he followed Liu Ruyan, who would he be honoring? Would he be honoring the master who taught him his skills? Would he be honoring his fellow villagers?

If responsibility and desire, rationality and sensibility crush each other, then it must be that responsibility and rationality overcome those emotions.

Seeing that Chen Liuxian had not caught up with her for a long time, Liu Ruyan counted nineteen, eighteen, seven, six, five, four, three, two, and one countless times in her mind, but she still did not stop.

So they walked farther and farther away, and out of the Sanqing Mountain Taoist temple, the images of Taoist Feng Lei and others turned back to their original appearance, but they were not used to it for a while.

Elder Xianhuan sighed and said, "If we have different paths, we cannot work together. Young people, you should be diligent and encourage each other."

After that, she said, "I have been watching here for three years, and I actually understand the cause and effect. You have a good result because you planted good causes, which is a predetermined thing in the past. She has a bad result because she planted bad causes, which is also a karmic debt from the past life. Although Buddhism can save all living beings, the premise of saving all living beings is that the Buddha can save himself and realize himself. If he does not realize himself and save himself in this sea of suffering, he is like a clay Buddha crossing a river, unable to save himself. How can he save all living beings? Doing good deeds, making wishes, and having good intentions are all within your ability. You should have made a wish in your next life, and now you should complete your wish wholeheartedly, so that you can have a beginning and an end and achieve the right result."

Chen Liuxian seemed to have realized something, and said to Elder Xianhuan: "I used to be ignorant and ignorant, and I didn't know the important things in life. I fell into confusion. There was a moment of enlightenment, but most of the time I felt confused, like seeing flowers in the fog. The original life was okay, but now it seems a bit illusory. How can a dull life be dull and safe? There is no guarantee, and it seems like a luxury."

"Later, I had this path to follow, and it was visibly getting better and better. When I was overseas, I went from having nothing to having everything. I felt a sense of satisfaction, and I became more and more motivated. I always had endless energy."

"This is the great wish of Maitreya Bodhisattva." Elder Xianhuan said, "Maitreya Bodhisattva will rebuild the human world after the Dharma Ending Age and turn the Saha world into a pure land. Although Master Xu is not a Buddhist, he is also proficient in Buddhism. His mother once said that the Buddhism she practiced was all passed down by her son, and later he received the heart transmission from the Bodhisattva. When I exchanged Buddhism with him, I often gained a lot. This is the supreme Buddhism after all consciousness is extinguished and the six senses are severed."

Elder Xianhuan said: "That's why he orders me around. I'm happy to do it. But for Buddhists, the four elements are empty. Fame and wealth are just floating clouds. I haven't seen the empty and clear nature, so I can't get the Tao. I've stirred up dust, and my dust brush is not clean. I'm obsessed with power and it's hard to let go."

"It's easy to pick up, but hard to put down." Xianhuan said, "Donor, you are not old enough to put down yet, so you should pick up more."

Chen Changsheng said: "I don't understand these profound principles. I am confused when I pick up and put down things. I just feel that in this world, there seem to be many opportunities, but in fact there are no opportunities. There is not much left for me to do. Many people don't even have the possibility to do anything. They are mediocre, but they are not as good as ants. They have a clear division of labor, just like a tool. They farm when they need to farm and reproduce when they need to reproduce. They never have a self. Is there anything for themselves, to experience the meaning of being a human being?"

Xianhuan's eyes lit up: "This is enlightenment, it means starting to question your heart. Once you question your heart, you are discovering your true nature. This is the Alaya consciousness in Buddhism. If you understand the Alaya consciousness, you may have the possibility of great enlightenment."

……

Xianhuan was instilling Buddhism into Chen Changsheng, but Xu Jia ignored him. His own practice had reached a critical point. As Xu's father distributed the land equally in the villages around Nanchang Prefecture, the dragon energy of the western road of Jiangnan also gathered together, and the five dragons held up the saint, imposing a destiny.

However, Xu Jia did not directly refine and suppress this destiny. He only used it to fulfill his wishes and cultivate the Qi of the "Saint King".

This is the basis for the primordial spirit to rule over all gods. If the primordial spirit is not the "Emperor of Heaven", how can it rule over all gods and coordinate them flexibly?
The Emperor of Heaven only has such a small territory? If Nanchang Prefecture was not the capital of Jiangxi, it would have the foundation of the fortune of Jiangnan West Road, and it would be the so-called "hidden dragon".

But the potential dragon's qi has already fallen on Xu's father. Xu's father does not want to do dragon things. Before he becomes a dragon, the dragon will cause water and destroy the farmland.

But the word "dragon" originally means "emperor", so does Xu's father want to be the "emperor" and the Taizu?

Although Xu's father followed Confucianism and Legalism, he was also greatly influenced by Xu Jia. He did not believe in "holy imperial power" and was a supporter of the idea that the people were more important than the emperor. As he followed the policy of equalizing land use, he understood more and more that equalizing land use did not mean asking the big landlords to return the land they had annexed, nor did it mean making the poor peasants feel like they had a slave mentality and the "honest master" made the decisions for them.

How can we truly "let the people rule the country"? Since the people are the masters, there is naturally no king, and there is no need for a great master in the sky, so naturally the dragon qi is useless.

I have no ambition to be an emperor, I only want to help others achieve their goals. Why do you call me a dragon? A dragon? Does he deserve it?

Eventually, the dragon qi dispersed and turned into mysterious qi and laws, which penetrated into the hearts of the people. This was exactly what Xu Jia had in mind. The spiritual treasure he wanted to leave behind was an idea and a system that would not decline and perish with the fate of the feudal dynasty for three hundred years. What was right might not always be right, but in the context of the times, it was advanced.

Under the influence of this trend of thought and destiny, the power of the law of Jiangnan West Road, a shackle that has been reinforced on the hearts, minds, and thoughts of the people, has begun to slowly decay and will eventually fall completely.

The spine that is bent by shackles and the knees that are crushed by majesty and power will one day stand up.

The dragon lurks in the deep, waiting for the right time to fly.

This is a thriving and vigorous vitality, a new life that has been born from the corrupt dynasty. Human life was born from the corpse of the dragon.

This situation shocked practitioners all over the world, especially those on Mount Longhu. The current Heavenly Master of Mount Longhu and Xu Jia's old Heavenly Master Zhang Fajing recalled the prophecy of the 36th generation Heavenly Master that a Heavenly Master of a different surname would appear once every 500 years.

There may have been doubts before, as there were also seeds of Heavenly Masters in Shu who were governing the area, and it was difficult to tell which one was the real one and which one was the fake. But now, I finally understand that only Xu Jia can be called the true Heavenly Master of Lingbao.

Of course, it may not be limited to the Heavenly Master, or there may be some other identities superimposed, but in short, this is the gamble for the rise of Taoism.

Zhang Fajing saw that in that well-governed area, the people's hearts gave rise to the dragon and tiger's mysterious qi. The dragon and tiger's mysterious qi together with the purple imperial qi turned into a net and formed laws. In the place where the equal distribution of land had been completed, it turned into an iron wall, which was forged by the people's hearts and the will of humanity.

"I will give all the Yingtan under Longhu Mountain to Lord Xu, and ask him to distribute the land equally. I will also give all the land of the Zhang family in Longhu Mountain to him, and the Zhang family will be divided into households and the land will be distributed equally."

"This is absolutely not possible. We have 300,000 mu of Taoist farmland alone, which occupies more than half of the entire Yingtan. How can the descendants of the Zhang family practice, receive support from the people, and offer sacrifices?"

"Do you want to destroy your clan?"

Then Zhang Fajing took the initiative to distribute the land equally, returned the land of the Zhang family to the people, abolished Taoist slaves, serfs, and those who did not have Taoist certificates were all dismissed. Naturally, these were very controversial, and some elders of the Taoist clan regarded Longhu Mountain as their own private property, and the land that had been annexed for hundreds of years and the land awarded by emperors of successive dynasties were also regarded as their own.

They even thought that this Heavenly Master was crazy and wanted to revolutionize himself. They should be the biggest reactionaries. Therefore, they directly convened a meeting of elders and felt it necessary to elect the next generation of Zhang Tianshi.

Because his vested interests were damaged, he was short-sighted and could not see clearly. Zhang Fajing saw that the elders, teachers, and even the children of the Zhang family were glaring at him, so he sighed and said, "Everyone, take care of yourselves."

Then, at the request of the Zhang family elders, he resigned from the position of Heavenly Master, saying to himself: "This position should not be hereditary," and left.

Not long after, the Zhang clan supported Zhang Fajing's uncle, a Zhang family member in his fifties but with mediocre qualifications, as the 38th Heavenly Master. Using the "Heavenly Master Degree", he raised his cultivation to the level of an earthly immortal. He then asked the seven-year-old emperor of the Daning Dynasty for permission to inherit the position of Heavenly Master.

The Da Ning Dynasty did not dismiss this trivial matter, nor did it ask where the 37th generation had gone.

……

When Xu Jia met Zhang Fajing on Mount Sanqing, he had disheveled hair, was barefoot and dressed in white, as if he was in mourning.

Xu Jia asked curiously, "Why are you dressed like this instead of practicing hard on Mount Longhu? Did an elder die?"

"I am wearing mourning clothes for them in advance." Zhang Fajing said, "They took away my Zhang character and my Fa generation character. Now only Jing is mine. They put the wrong name on my body. I am now called Li Jing."

When Xu Jia heard him call himself "Li Jing", he first thought of the prototype of Vaisravana, the military god of the Tang Dynasty, and then he thought of Tota-Bearing Heavenly King Li, the father of Nezha, Muzha and Jinzha.

But if you look closely at his appearance, there is no trace of Li Jing in him.

"Aren't you a celestial master?"

"I saw that the world was about to change, and the general trend was unstoppable. I was in charge of the equal distribution of land in the clan, but was deposed by the clan elders and my position as Heavenly Master was taken away from me. I gave up and now I have no place to live, so I came to you to look for a job."

Xu Jia looked at him in astonishment: "You still have this awareness?"

"Don't you think I'm going against the will of heaven?"

"Humans are also part of the universe. Who says we shouldn't follow the will of heaven? I think I am right."

Xu Jia heard this and said, "You do have some ideas. Since you changed your name to Li Jing, you have given up the idea of escaping from the world and have a heart to enter it. Then you should enter it well. How about training Taoist soldiers under me and learning by watching?"

"Okay, I can do anything, but I want to go overseas. I heard that you have established a Taoist country overseas. How about I become your prime minister?"

"No need, learn first. A prime minister must start from the prefectures and counties. If he doesn't go down to the grassroots, how can he know what is needed?"

"Okay, then I'll start from the grassroots level." Li Jing said, "When I go back, I'll lead the troops to flatten Longhu Mountain."

"You are quite heartless and ungrateful."

"If I go, I still have a chance of survival. If anyone else goes, they will all die ten times."

……

Eventually, Li Jing was sent to the countryside of Nanchang Prefecture. His ability was unquestionable, but he also worked seriously.

On the other side, outside Nanchang Prefecture, the Nanchang prefect stood on the city wall. There were two scenes, one inside the city and the other outside. The prefect guarded the city gates carefully and did not allow them to be opened. He also did not allow the people to leave the city to prevent them from being deceived or having more deserters. In order to defend the city, he also urgently asked the court for rescue.

The Nanchang governor had an aide who was well versed in divination, but he was of unorthodox origin and half blind.

He said to the governor: "When I look at the Qi, everything is colorful. This is the Qi of the emperor. The Great Ning Dynasty is doomed to fail. Why don't you surrender?"

The Nanchang governor said, "Since I am receiving the emperor's salary, I should be loyal to him and not be a traitor. What he did is really unrighteous and is a cult-like deception. It cannot last long. How can he have five-colored Qi? You are blind, but is your heart blind too? Moreover, even if his Qi has five colors, it is only at the beginning. As long as I can disperse it, I will be out of trouble."

"Alas." The blind aide heard this and said, "This is just blind loyalty, but it is enough to go down in history. I have also been fed by the emperor and received twenty years of grace, but I am willing to defy fate and change my destiny. That destiny comes from Mr. Xu, who is a juren. The governor can first issue an order to deprive him of his juren status, and use this to attack him and destroy his virtue, and there will be a chance."

After saying this, the blind man stabbed his own ears and said, "Now that I am deaf and blind, I can take the punishment of fate for the governor."

The Nanchang governor sighed, "I didn't raise you for a thousand days, I only used you for a moment, I just had pity for you. Today I have made you even more disabled, how can I feel good about it? But if I fail to live up to your kindness, your suffering will be in vain."

Afterwards, the prefect of Nanchang wrote an article to refute and criticize Xu's father.

When I curse, it is said that Xu's father cursed Long in the past. He was making shocking remarks to attract attention and was a person who sold ugliness.

Second, he cursed Xu's father for confiscating the property of Mr. Huang. Mr. Huang was the one who recommended him for the exam and was also considered a half-teacher, but he stabbed him in the back.

The third curse was that Xu's father had obtained the position of a juren and had become a local celebrity, but instead of protecting his hometown, he incited the unruly people to rebel.

.........

Anyway, to list the ten points, Father Xu is a jester with ulterior motives. He is disloyal, unfilial, unjust and unkind, and is unworthy of being a Confucian.

Finally, in summary, in view of these actions, it was announced to the world that Xu's father's title of juren and his title of scholar would be stripped.
