Chapter 1958 A Guy with No Commercial Value

Chapter 1958 A Guy with No Commercial Value
Negotiating with Hader about at least the ordinary dwarves took quite a while. Although Hader looks rough and tough, he is actually quite shrewd. When it comes to negotiating compensation, he doesn't just offer a little something; he seriously wants Blaze to pay him.

This included a large amount of rare metals, as well as the right to take apprentices with you.

There was no other way; the free blacksmiths had already planned to shine at the Olympia competition, so they had all stopped what they were doing to rest and prepare for the entire Olympia competition.

Blazer disturbed Had's rest, and the Enlightenment of the Dwarves is not something Had can do alone; he has to contact many blacksmiths to help.

Had himself was actually willing to do it for free, but the key was the blacksmiths he invited. He couldn't just give it away for free himself and then give it away to other blacksmiths as well. Besides, these blacksmiths had to be very skilled, otherwise they would easily be overwhelmed by the natural blacksmithing ability of the Enlightened Dwarves.

Blazer agreed to all of Hader's requests after a moment's thought.

In the past, rare metals were extremely rare, and there were only so many in the world. However, after the cataclysmic event, the enormous energy generated by this event will recharge the entire world, activate the totems on the earth, and the mineral veins will also be revived, just like muscles growing after receiving nutrition.

Of course, this doesn't mean that rare metals are now commonplace. They have simply reappeared, but that doesn't mean their proportion has increased. They remain rare, and mining them remains very difficult.

Aside from rare metals, it's only natural that dwarf apprentices are required to have them. It's only natural for a teacher to want to train outstanding students. If an ordinary dwarf is valued, Blaze would actually be happy for that dwarf.

Unfortunately, Blaze didn't have time to be involved in the entire process of enlightening the dwarves. There were more important things for him to deal with, namely the matter of Asgard's qualification for the competition.

After giving Had the gold tickets Herbie gave him, instructing him to buy some rare metals he liked as a reward, Blazer returned to the Cuckoo Clock House to wait for Herbie and Greenland to finish their whispered conversation.

Before he even got close, he spotted Kurené from afar, crouching on the wall, looking furtive and obviously up to no good.

"What kind of despicable thing are you doing?" Blaze asked with his arms crossed and a booming voice, which was no less than leaning over to ask someone who was urinating or defecating in public, "Are you pooping?"

But who is Kulener? Even if such a thing really happened, he would raise his head and proudly shout, "Yes, that's right, this is called giving back to nature!"

So when faced with Blaise's shouts, Kulener simply ripped himself off the wall, dusted himself off, and tossed his head back.

"So what if I am! I was just eavesdropping!"

Look, this person has absolutely no concept of feeling guilty.

"I think you're just relying on the fact that the two people you're eavesdropping on won't pose a threat to you once they find out." Blaze shook his head, drawing the [Gungnir] from his back and weighing it in his hand.

"If I find out you're eavesdropping on my secret conversations with anyone, my first reaction will be to stab you with this gun."

"So I will absolutely not eavesdrop on your secret conversations, I will just brazenly barge in!"

Kulenerne's attitude of not being ashamed but rather proud made it really difficult for Blaise to make a move.

"Now that I'm here, I can't let you continue eavesdropping on the secret conversation between the two girls."

"Oh, then I won't listen."

Kurené's unexpected and straightforward decision to give up stunned Blaise, who had planned to use force to intimidate him. Under normal circumstances, Kurené would never give up so easily.

"Anyway, you'll be the one who suffers in the end." Kulener revealed a meaningful smile, but this time the smile was not a mischievous teasing, but rather one of pity.

"I hope you can be happy at the end. A man, even if he's soft, should force himself to be hard."

"...Why don't you just keep sticking up there and eavesdropping?"

"No chance now, your voice was too loud, the girls already heard you." Kulenne chuckled, shrugging innocently. "Oh dear, it was at the crucial moment, tsk tsk tsk—"

Blazer's lips twitched; Kulener's gloating was so skillful it had surpassed mere technique.

"Alright, I'm not going to joke with you anymore. I have something serious to tell you." Kulener's expression changed as quickly as turning the pages of a book, and he immediately became serious.

"I bet you only thought of the important matter when you realized I was about to threaten you." Blazer rolled his eyes, helpless. Every time Kulener said something was important, it really was important.

"Go ahead."

"Hey, is this really a good attitude?" Kurene raised an eyebrow and pulled out a stack of documents. "I'm an examiner for the Olympiad Committee. If you keep acting like this, I won't give you any advice. I'll just be doing my job properly!"

"It's all business." Blazee hates hearing "business is all business" these days. Asgard can't withstand scrutiny.

"...Please sit down."

Blaise immediately became obedient, moved a table and chairs over, and Kulener sat down to speak while he stood to listen.

In Kulenina, different matters are treated differently, with the lowest being other people's serious business, which is used for teasing, and the highest being "Hermes's Traveling Hat".

Now, Kurené's expression was serious, without a trace of joking, clearly indicating that this was a matter of utmost importance.

"But judging from the current situation, Asgard and its eight affiliated lord cities do not meet the city assessment criteria at all. Population and flow of people are secondary. The key issue is the lack of clear urban economic value, that is, distinctive products."

"The Olympia competition is not a simple competition; the key is to give every village the opportunity to appear on the world stage and let everyone know the name of the village."

"When you learn the name of a village, your first reaction is probably that the village has some special products, minerals, special crops, special dishes, special ecology, scenery, etc. There has to be one. Otherwise, even if the village is given a chance to take the stage, if it doesn't have something that leaves a lasting impression, it will be a waste and it will soon be lost in the crowd."

"If that's the outcome, it would be better not to participate in the first place. Not only would it be a waste of an opportunity, but it would also steal the opportunity from the village that could have used it to develop."

Kulener patted a stack of documents on the table; they were all about Asgard.

"As far as I'm concerned, even Asgard has absolutely no commercial value."
