Chapter 1983 Golden Tree Sea Alliance

Chapter 1983 Golden Tree Sea Alliance
In the Golden Tree Sea, the top predators, all designated as guardians, gathered together. Although they were all guardians, it didn't mean they could get along well.

Some are natural enemies, while others are rivals, sometimes even fighting to the death when they meet. But under the original Tree of Life, they live together in perfect harmony, quietly and solemnly watching over it.

After confirming that these large creatures could indeed get along harmoniously, Blaze arrived at the wooden house on a branch of the Tree of Life. Eldar, the Elf King, and the perfectly formed druid were drinking tea, seemingly having already finished their conversation and waiting for him.

Before he could speak, the chicken scurried up to him. Despite being a chicken, it sniffed at him like a dog, its main target being his buttocks.

"Are you trying to check if I've secretly ridden other mounts while you're not around?" Blaze helplessly raised his hand, letting the chicken examine him.

“My answer is no, unless you consider standing on the back of a Camelot dragon to be riding.”

“Well, I’m not jealous of a mount with such a strong sense of jealousy.” The chicken straightened up contentedly and spread its wings to cover most of Blaze’s body.

"There's a saying among strangers: 'When one person attains enlightenment, even their chickens and dogs ascend to heaven.' You never know, there might be some lowlifes who, seeing you succeed, will try to ride on your coattails to become gods."

"I can still tell whether the other person has such thoughts or not."

Blaze turned his head, nodded to the Perfect Druid in greeting, and then said to Elvenking Eldar, "Those who could be found and were willing to form an alliance have all come."

"Those who didn't want to be... you must have..." Eldar, the Elf King, made a throat-slitting gesture.

"How could that be? What kind of person do you take me for? We sparred for a bit, and if you don't want to leave, you can only leave. Can you force me?"

The Elf King peered out the window, where some of the top predators looked rather pathetic, their faces bruised and battered. Clearly, Blazer was quite serious about persuading them.

"So, those who didn't come will never come again?"

“No, but I left them a communication device.” Blaze placed a golden, divine communication device in front of Eldar, the Elf King.

"I know you can transmit messages through the fallen leaves of the Golden Tree Sea, but it doesn't hurt to prepare more."

Eldar, the Elf King, was not one to be stubborn, and readily accepted the gift.

After that, there were not many ups and downs. At the beginning of the Perfect Druid, the first Golden Tree Sea Alliance Contract was drawn up, and the top predators, led by Eldar the Elf King, signed their clan marks on it.

The alliance was thus established, and the next step was the simple and straightforward selection of the first leader of the Golden Tree Sea Alliance. The selection method was extremely simple and brutal: a ring battle.

Eldar, the Elf King, with a gentle and refined demeanor who seemed uninterested in worldly struggles, stood on the arena and asked the apex predators with a humble expression whether they wanted to come one by one or all at once.

Such arrogant words naturally attracted the top predators one by one, and the result was both astonishing and predictable. Elven King Eldar won, winning with ease, without even a speck of dust on his clothes.

This is only natural. Before us stands the father of the elves, the oldest among the ancient elven race, born in the age of gods, witnessing its destruction, and believing in the cycles of nature from the time he was a seed in the Golden Tree Sea. He is a great being who walks on the earth, unable to ascend to the sky not because he is unworthy, not because he is watery, but because the competition in the heavens is far too fierce.

Compared to them, the top predators are nothing more than kittens and puppies in front of Eldar, the Elf King. This battle to select the leader of the alliance is more like a joke.

Eldar, the Elf King, originally did not want to participate, as it was wrong for the strong to bully the weak. However, the first leader of the alliance was very important. A powerful first leader could bring a relatively stable start to the Golden Tree Sea Alliance and give hope to future generations.

He abdicated 300 years later.

With the alliance of the Golden Forest, Eldar, the Elven King, could naturally represent the ecosystem of the Golden Forest and sign a formal contract with Blaze, the King of Asgard.

When signing the contract, Blazer asked a question that had always been a source of curiosity for him.

Why are all the top predators stuck at LV399? Can't they break through?

“No, it is possible to break through, but after breaking through, one will undergo a transformation, and not into a new race, but into a single individual,” Elven King Elda explained.

“LV400 is a very special threshold, as important as LV100. Once you pass LV400, you can have a true name, which is a name that possesses power.”

"Those individuals with names either chose to slumber, giving birth to bodies that match their names, or they left the Golden Tree Sea to seek new breakthroughs."

"A name that possesses power? I see." Blaze recalled that Had had mentioned weapon names in his basic forging instruction.

The quality of weapons can actually be improved. Low-level weapons can be transformed into high-level weapons by repairing their defects with more sophisticated techniques. For high-level weapons to reach the fairytale level, they need a name.

This name cannot be chosen casually; it must be obtained through stealing. You must defeat monsters above level 100, deliver the final blow with a high-level weapon, and then use the materials from the hunted monsters to reforge them. Only then will you have a chance to obtain the other party's name and achieve the required quality.

For example, if you defeat the LV120 Abyss Spider King from Vertical Hell with a short sword, there is a chance that after strengthening it with materials from the Abyss Spider King, it will become the [Short Sword - Abyss Spider King].

Unfortunately, high-level weapons can only have a name once, and once a name is given, the weapon itself will change, clearing all enhancement attributes, and its appearance and abilities will also change, which is quite risky.

However, this risk becomes negligible once a large number of high-level monsters appear. There are plenty of monsters above LV100, and equally plenty of high-level equipment.

This mainly benefits players in the middle tier of the game, such as those from Greenland, who prioritize easy-to-use equipment over high-quality gear and have a high demand for it, so they don't upgrade in large quantities.

The situation of the outsiders in the middle is quite subtle. Their skills are certainly not up to the level of Greenland, nor can they complete extremely difficult tasks or obtain high-quality equipment. Yet, because of this position, they also yearn for high-quality equipment.

However, they could still defeat monsters above level 100, so they upgraded their weapons significantly after encountering high-level monsters.
