Chapter 2006 Attributes and Classes

Chapter 2006 Attributes and Classes
High-level and higher-level equipment has the ability to increase attributes, thanks to the equipment skills it possesses.

Some equipment skills are innate. For example, if you use materials from a strength-type monster during the forging process, there is a chance to obtain the corresponding monster's enhancement skills.

Of course, it can also be acquired later in life. That is by using [Metal Memory]. Equipment that is mainly made of metal can be strengthened by enhancing the equipment after being attacked by a powerful monster and leaving scars.

In theory, as long as the weapon is sturdy enough, it is possible to increase acquired skills indefinitely.

Many people choose the [Glory Greatsword], a high-level piece of equipment, because after adding three [Heavy] attributes, this greatsword becomes incredibly tough and can gain seven acquired skills.

Although adding acquired skills means that the weapon's durability is reduced, the [Glory Greatsword] is very adaptable. Even if it breaks, it can still be used as a broken sword, since it is large enough, and it will only stop when it is completely broken.

Getting back to the main point, using equipment skills to enhance attributes to meet the requirements for class advancement is not unusual; using potions and skill enhancements are normal practices.

Some professions have very strict attribute requirements, with high demands on all four attributes.

Low-level Blessed individuals can generally only choose one or two of the four attributes: Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Faith. In the case of extremely rare special professions, it is impossible to develop all attributes.

Even high-level Blessed Ones will have very obvious biases in the four attributes. If they go for pure strength, then agility, intelligence, and faith are almost enough, and vice versa.

This is the only way to maximize one's abilities without wasting limited career opportunities.

This is why special and unique professions are so sought after. These professions can usually be obtained directly by completing challenges or achievements. Not only do they have no attribute requirements, but they also provide considerable attributes. Moreover, the level cap is low, with level one being comparable to level six, while also saving a lot of job slots.

Regarding the attribute requirements for unlocking a profession, those below the higher rank can be met using equipment, potions, and skills. Some higher rank professions, based on their background settings, also allow this method of unlocking.

The Free Hunter is one of them, so most people won't complain about the requirement that the Free Hunter's three attributes, Strength, Agility, and Intelligence or Faith, must be combined to exceed 3000 and maintained in a certain balance.

The only flaw of the Primitive Humans, who possess extremely high potential for strength and agility in their racial innate abilities, is their low intelligence and faith. Even if they obtain a profession that can increase intelligence or faith, the increase will not be as high as that of other races due to their racial innate abilities.

Conversely, when primitive humans acquire a profession that increases strength or agility, the increase will be far greater than that of other races.

To compensate for the intellectual and religious deficiencies of the primitive humans, Greenland devised a solution: to use equipment to make up for these deficiencies.

The three types of monsters—【Great Beast God Fanatics】【Great Beast God Ritual Slayers】【Great Beast God Apostles】—are the main targets of the next phase.

If the boar-men we defeated earlier were the lowest tier of the savage orcs, then these three types of monsters represent the middle tier, with an average level between LV75 and LV120. They use special Great Beast God prayers to launch attacks or strengthen themselves. As their names suggest, they are respectively fanatical followers of the Great Beast God, slaughterers who fight and kill madly to carry out the Great Beast God's savage policies, and servants who deliver the Great Beast God's commands.

After the Great Beast God was defeated, these three types of savage orcs not only did not disappear, but their numbers increased rapidly. This was because the top tier of the savage orcs, those who were made kings and generals by the Great Beast God's priests during the Great Beast God's reign, began to fight to become the next Great Beast God.

This is equivalent to having multiple candidate Great Beast Gods, and naturally, the number of Great Beast Gods' servants will also increase.

The attacks that many orc clans, who yearn for peace, are now facing mostly stem from orders issued directly or indirectly by these candidate Great Beast Gods.

Leaving aside the candidate Great Beast Gods, the materials dropped by the fanatics of these Great Beast Gods can be used to craft armor that increases faith. With good skills, it is possible to preserve the armor worn by the fanatics as intact as possible during the battle.

Once you collect the complete set, you'll have almost met the attribute requirements for the [Free Hunter] title. In addition, since the Savage Orcs and Zealots are non-natural killings, defeating them will grant you hidden experience points to unlock the [Nature Guardian] title.

This title is related to unlocking the Hunter series of quests, which invite you to enter the Golden Forest. Many of the materials for the Free Hunter are available in the Golden Forest.

This stage is particularly important for beginners in the Primitive Human race. The [Angel Race] has developed the Stigmata build, and subsequent professions will revolve around the Stigmata build. However, the potential of the [Primitive Human] has not yet been fully explored. In the Golden Tree Sea, the lake with the power of the ancient dinosaurs from the Age of Giants is very important.

Unfortunately, the Savage Orcs and the Great Beast God Fanatics are only considered destroyers in nature, and they don't provide much hidden experience. If it were a Titan hybrid that is considered a polluter and a subverter in nature, defeating twenty of them would be enough.

"Are you sure you don't need me to bring you here?" Greenland handed Blazer the quest form for defeating the fanatics of the Great Beast God and asked worriedly.

"Anyway, the process is similar to the first stage: head to the destination, find the enemy, fight, clean up the scene and retreat, then head to the next destination. During the process, I would like to remind newbies not to forget to use specific skills to improve their proficiency."

Blazer explained skillfully that this was the benefit of the incredibly tedious practice, with each step being almost identical.

Greenland's concern wasn't that Blaze would forget the process, but rather that there was a fundamental difference between the Great Beast God fanatics and the savage orcs: intelligence.

It's not that the fanatical followers of the Great Beast God are particularly cunning or scheming, but rather that they can speak in order to spread their faith in the Great Beast God. Once this dialogue is established, it might cause some unexpected problems.

But considering that nothing unexpected had happened this week, and that Blazer had not only been doing nothing but also often sitting in the priest's house chatting with Lottie, Greenland relaxed a bit.

"Then I'll leave this to you again. Once I obtain the [Inquisitor] profession, I'll come and join you. Then we can move around as a large group."
