Chapter 2009 Correcting Bad Feng Shui

Chapter 2009 Correcting Bad Feng Shui
Feng shui is a special school of thought that interprets the meaning of elements such as the earth's veins, mountains and rivers, and the layout of a house.

Its mystery lies not only in its ability to interpret the meaning of the terrain and seek advantages while avoiding disadvantages, but also in its ability to use the knowledge within it to change the terrain, turning misfortune into good fortune and transforming adversity into advantage.

Changing the terrain is the main application of Feng Shui.

Generally speaking, the scope of changes that can be made using Feng Shui is very limited, because Feng Shui observes the world sculpted by the master of time over a long period of time, which is not something that can be changed by human power in a day or two.

Therefore, the only thing that can be done through feng shui is to find an auspicious location or change the layout of the house, making changes within one's means.

Conversely, if human power is strong enough to easily change the terrain or add a large number of buildings that affect the terrain in a short period of time, then any feng shui pattern can be easily changed.

And coincidentally, this is a place with extraordinary human resources.

Orcs, as the largest group in the world, possess not only an extraordinary reproductive capacity but also superhuman physical strength. If used as laborers, they would be arguably the strongest slaves in the world.

Legend has it that the enormous cup of fire, towering and majestic beyond any human structure, built between the mountains to praise and worship the great beast god, was completed in just one year.

If such an astonishing feat as the Great Beast God's Flame Cup could be accomplished in just one year, then altering feng shui and terrain, and changing dragon veins, would not be surprising at all.

"If that were to happen, the hard-won peace in the orcish territory would be shattered, and this land that is recovering would once again be engulfed in war."

"But the problem is that the orc territory is very large, and the activities of the savage orcs are very secretive, making it quite difficult to find out where they are."

The hardest part of a battle is always the beginning, finding the enemy.

After the Great Beast God was defeated, the orc territory immediately fell into a battle to become the next Great Beast God. As expected, it was wiped out by the foreigners who had come because of the orcs' liberation.

The surviving orcs who had been granted titles of king or general, as candidates for the Great Beast God, naturally avoided his sharp edge and concealed their tracks.

It's unlikely that directly eliminating these candidate Great Beast Gods will solve the problem. Moreover, it seems that orcs at the King and General levels are still being born. Unless the Great Beast God faith is completely dismantled and the savage orcs are driven away, eliminating any number of Kings and Generals will be useless.

The remaining option is to find buildings that savage orcs instinctively construct, influencing the feng shui layout.

It's not particularly difficult. By following the trails of those fanatical followers of the Great Beast God, it's easy to find the settlements of the savage orcs, and there are many missions to eliminate these settlements.

But this also proves something bad: there are really a lot of savage orc settlements. As a result, even if savage orcs don't have the instinct to build structures that change the feng shui of the area, they will still manage to do so by sheer luck.

"I think the matter is quite easy to resolve."

The forger crossed his arms, exuding an unwavering sense of reliability beyond his combat prowess.

"In fact, we don't need to care what the savage orcs are doing. Our goal is always to liberate the dragon vein, restore it to normal, and prevent changes in the feng shui pattern. The deterioration of the dragon vein is just a concrete problem we are encountering."

“Since we’ve run into this problem, let’s just solve it.” “For example?” Blazer looked at the forger expectantly.

"The old method: put ourselves in their shoes. If we were the villains who wanted to change the feng shui layout, worsen the dragon vein, and reignite the Great Beast God's Goblet of Fire, what would we do?"

The forger took out a charcoal pencil and began to sketch and draw on the map as he pondered.

"First, we need to disrupt the continuity of the mountain and water features. At key points of the dragon vein, such as gorges and places where energy is concentrated, we need to carry out large-scale excavation to cut off the direction of the mountain range. Then, we need to forcibly straighten the naturally curved waterways, fill in the depressions, and destroy the pattern of gathering and storing energy."

"Secondly, introduce sharp and conflicting forms, build sharp buildings with distinct edges, such as pyramid-shaped or blade-shaped structures, pointing directly at the direction of the dragon vein, and pile up abrupt and steep artificial mountains in flat areas to reflect the evil energy."

"In addition, there is the disruption of the invisible balance, such as adding metal buildings in the eastern region which belongs to wood, forming a suppression of wood by metal, and digging deep into the ground in the south which belongs to fire, causing water and fire to clash and intensify unstable energy."

"Finally... well, alter the local microclimate by planting tall, dense coniferous forests to block sunlight and create a shady, damp environment. Lay large areas of dark-colored heat-absorbing materials (such as asphalt) to exacerbate the imbalance in surface temperature."

"That's about it." The forger put down his pen, somewhat reluctant to stop. He quite liked the National Treasure series and Sherlock Holmes-style narration films and television dramas, and he always felt a sense of climax when he analyzed and explained them.

The more you talk and the more detailed you are, the longer and more enjoyable your climax will be.

"Almost, nearly?" Blazer's eye twitched; the forger's words contained a wealth of information.

But it is indeed quite detailed. Forgers are basically the opposite of those old guys who like to only say half of what they mean. They draw the whole map completely, like feeding someone or explaining it to an idiot.

At first glance, it's like looking at a huge strategy map, clearly indicating where the monsters and buildings are located.

Just follow this map once, and the barbarian orcs will never be able to turn the tables.

However, because the orc territory is vast and the dragon veins cover a wide area, this is not a problem that one person can solve. Even if he travels a thousand miles a day, it would be difficult to clear it all out in a short period of time.

Moreover, he is quite aware of this, and if he were to take action in a high-profile manner, it is possible that his titles might lead to some unfortunate changes.

Therefore, the most suitable approach here is indeed to send outsiders from all directions to inspect the feng shui of the entire orc territory in a way that is relatively quiet and won't alert the enemy.

Coincidentally, he was about to arrange for the strangers to hunt down the fanatics of the Great Beast God.

"Jasmine, could you make a few hundred copies of this map for me?"

[Understood. The duplication process has begun and the equipment will be delivered in five minutes. In addition, there is a feng shui terrain scanning device.]

“How thoughtful. In that case…” Blaze turned to look at the forger. “Since we’re going to check whether the feng shui of the orc territory has been altered, why don’t we speed up the restoration of the dragon veins?”
