Chapter 2014 is amazing!

Chapter 2014 is amazing!
Blaze sensed Odin's malice, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. His keen intuition told him that it was best not to seek answers from others, as that would be bad for both himself and Audrey.

“Now that you know the answer, shouldn’t you keep your promise?” Blaze squinted at Odin. He remembered Kulenne complaining that the Aesir were never trustworthy.

“I’m not buying into the ‘I promised to come, but didn’t say when’ excuse.”

"Don't worry, I've learned my lesson."

Odin shook his head helplessly. To convince Blaze, he had to produce even more important evidence.

“In fact, even if this hadn’t happened, I would have taken the opportunity to bring it up to you. Rune script is so little known among strangers. This knowledge has finally had a chance to see the light of day again, and we can’t let it be buried.”

In reality, it was out of the old man's perverse sense of humor that he deliberately sent out twenty-four avatars hiding in various places to spread the runes. However, he found that they were hidden too well, and the world was too wonderful, so not many strangers were really serious about looking for them. Therefore, he couldn't hold back any longer.

More importantly, the extent to which the Assa barbarians could develop the runic script, it was up to outsiders to decide.

Blazer essentially read these thoughts from Odin's expression, but out of respect for the runic writing, he didn't point them out.

“Compared to these things…” Odin decisively changed the subject, putting his hands behind his back and expressing his concerns as the first King of Asgard.

"There are only a few dozen dwarves who have completed their basic education. Is there enough time to make and upgrade equipment for these 600 strangers?"

“600 isn’t enough, but 300 is still possible.” Blaze glanced at Odin and continued following Odin’s change of topic.

"In fact, we will prioritize providing equipment to the Angelic Strangers, whose unique Stigmata system requires equipment that can maximize the effect of Angelic Prayer."

"The cross-shaped weapon, forged from baptized gold, is the most commonly used religious artifact."

"Baptized gold?" Odin's expression changed in surprise, a hint of embarrassment appearing on his face. "Is this gold really that dirty? Why did we have to specially invite people from the Holy Cross Kingdom to baptize it?"

Blaze didn't speak, but simply gave Odin a look.

"Cough, cough—" Odin coughed twice, intending to say something to explain himself, but found that he could not explain anything except for coughing.

"Then, what about the primitive humans? The weapons made from that ferocious gold must be incredibly powerful!"

"If gold is added to the bone weapons made by primitive humans using the bones of wild beasts provided by the orc clans, the purity and preciousness of the gold itself will affect the weapon's inherent ferocity."

Odin remained silent, simply standing with his hands behind his back, feigning profundity.

"Besides the bone weapons, primitive humans also have a suitable group attack weapon called the [sharpened bamboo stick]. Although it is only a low-level weapon, its power is amazing when fighting a group of people. Most importantly, it is very cheap."

"However, due to limited manpower, no one can find and collect sufficiently tough bamboo, so this part of the expense cannot be reduced..."

“Leave this to me,” Odin said mysteriously, adjusting his pentagonal hat like a hermit. “I know where to find good bamboo.” “Oh, that’s amazing. No wonder you are the god of poetry and magic who walks among men, spreading the secrets of runes.”

Blazer clapped along, though not entirely sincerely, but in these situations, it's all about how the person involved feels.

Seeing Odin walk away so proudly and arrogantly, as if he were the great god of poetry and magic, Blaze knew that Odin must have been dreaming.

Blaze took out his lunchbox containing his daily meal check-in information, ate lunch, and then arrived in Fire City to officially announce the start of the cleanup campaign.

To prevent novice outsiders from rushing in, Blazer took a two-step approach.

The first step is to provide maps according to the progress. Initially, only small settlements of barbarian orcs will be provided. Once the small settlements are destroyed, the next stage will begin. The second step is to stop providing heroic warriors as bodyguards for free.

To be honest, the second one was actually taking care of the feelings of the heroic warriors.

They call themselves warriors, and even if they're just cannon fodder, they're still warriors. Being free babysitters is one thing, but fighting in such a disgraceful and assembly-line manner is an insult to the honor of warriors.

Even with Blaze's reputation and strength, discontent could still build up, spread, and eventually erupt. So Blaze came up with a solution: using event points to exchange for Heroic Spirit Warriors to participate in the battle.

The difficulty of a small settlement of savage orcs is around LV80. It contains a large number of savage orcs of LV30 or higher, dozens of LV50 guards, and four or five fanatical followers of the Great Beast God.

This isn't high for a newbie outsider with an average level of LV95, but if you go to a medium-sized settlement, the difficulty will definitely be LV99+.

In medium-sized settlements, the number of savage orcs below level 30 is comparable to that of an army, and the number of high-level Beast God fanatics has surged to the level of elite monsters, with even specialized killers appearing.

The difficulty of medium-sized settlements lies not in attributes, but in combat experience and teamwork. Novice strangers cannot handle them, but adding heroic warriors can make things much safer.

Using points to recruit Heroic Spirits can both control the speed of the Strangers' advance to some extent and take care of the Heroic Spirits' emotions.

Points earned in battle are honor in the eyes of heroic warriors, and using honor to participate in attacks on the barbarian orc settlements undoubtedly satisfies their sense of honor to the greatest extent.

Furthermore, because different levels of Heroic Spirits require different points, this can also create healthy competition among them. Of course, this healthy competition is because Heroic Spirits are all straightforward and wouldn't do anything underhanded.

In addition, we can also take this opportunity to promote the future service of hiring heroic warriors in Thunderclap City, which is truly a win-win situation.

As soon as the event began, the strangers got into action in an orderly fashion, took out maps, headed to their respective orc clans, and proceeded toward their destinations marked on the maps.

As the organizer, Blazer naturally wouldn't just stand around doing nothing. After handing over the headquarters to Marika, he took the complete map and set off.

For reasons unknown, Greenland followed him nervously, only relaxing slightly after discovering that he had met up with the forger.
