"Village Chief, are you home?" came an anxious call from outside the door.

Tian Siyao, Qin Miyue, and Chen Ze all looked towards the door. The village chief—perhaps he could provide the information they needed. Guiyue walked to the door and opened it.

Standing outside the door was a man dressed in tattered clothes and looking exhausted.

"Village Chief, someone has just been bitten."

He said breathlessly, "We don't know what bit him."

Tian Siyao and Chen Ze exchanged glances. It seemed that this bizarre incident was far from over.

Tian Siyao was anxious; she hoped to resolve this issue as soon as possible to protect more people.

Guiyue turned to the three of them and said, "Wait here for me for a while."

She quickly left with the villagers, and told Tian Siyao and the other woman to wait for her to return.

Tian Siyao and Chen Ze sat in the village chief's living room, waiting for Guiyue to return.

Tian Siyao felt uneasy.

She tapped the table lightly with her fingers, her brow furrowed.

Chen Ze, seeing Tian Siyao's uneasy expression, knew that she took this mission very seriously.

He gently patted her hand. "Don't worry, Sister Gui will be back as soon as possible."

Tian Siyao relaxed a bit and nodded with a smile.

She looked at Chen Ze and said, "We should discuss what to do next."

She stood up and walked to Chen Ze's side.

"Take off your clothes first," Tian Siyao said gently.

Chen Ze hesitated for a moment, knowing that Tian Siyao wanted to help him get a medical check-up.

He nodded and took off his shirt.

Tian Siyao gently helped him sit up and began to examine him.

She took out a finely woven talisman and muttered a spell under her breath.

A faint white light emanated from her hand, covering the area where Chen Ze had been injured.

As the incantation continued, the wound gradually began to heal.

Tian Siyao carefully observed the changes.

They were relieved after confirming that there was no trace of evil spirits left behind.

"Alright, the wound has healed." She said to Chen Ze with a smile.

Chen Ze shook his head. "Thank you, Siyao."

Tian Siyao smiled shyly, "This is just a little bit of medical skill I've learned." The next day.

Tian Siyao, Qin Miyue, and Chen Ze arrived at the basement near Duoyun Temple.

Tian Siyao's attention was drawn to an oil painting on the wall, depicting a lush forest, a scene completely different from the landscape of Lianhua Village.

There is a small red arrow in the oil painting pointing northeast, which seems to be hinting at an important location.

Tian Siyao stared at the screen and suddenly remembered the mystery she had encountered in Lotus Village.

"Could the answer to this riddle refer to the Fog Extreme Earth Vein?" she muttered to herself.

Qin Miyue and Chen Ze both looked at Tian Siyao, hoping she could give a clear answer.

“I remember there is an ancient and mysterious forest in the Misty Earth Vein,” Tian Siyao said.

"Really? Then let's go take a look right away!" Qin Miyue suggested.

Chen Ze immediately agreed, "That's right! We can take this opportunity to look for clues about the lotus grass."

The three quickly left the tomb and headed towards the direction of the Misty Earth Vein.

On the way, they kept exchanging the answers to the mysteries they had deciphered and the existing clues.

Tian Siyao compared the clues in the riddle with the places she had already explored.

The answer was ultimately determined to be the Fog Pole Earth Vein.

As they entered the Fog Extreme Earth Vein, a thick fog greeted them.

Visibility was extremely low, as if one were in a hazy and mysterious world. "This place is truly beautiful and mysterious," Qin Miyue murmured.

Chen Ze raised his sword and looked around warily.

"We need to be careful; there may be various dangers lurking here."

Tian Siyao then took out an old book and began to read it.

"This ancient book contains a lot of information about the Fog Extreme Earth Vein."

She pointed to a spot and said, "Look! It says here that a certain special symbol appeared here."

The three of them became excited and continued forward following the route described in the book.

As they ventured deeper into the forest, they noticed that the surrounding fog seemed to be growing thicker.

Suddenly, they heard a deep voice ask: "Who are you? Why are you here?"

His voice was filled with vigilance and doubt.

Tian Siyao, Qin Miyue, and Chen Ze searched around for the source of the sound and finally saw a figure in the fog.

A man in black stood behind a tree, staring at them with sharp eyes.

"We're just curious about the strange sights here and want to go in and take a look," Tian Siyao replied, trying to ease the other person's wariness.

The man in black coldly surveyed the area. "You should know that this place is fraught with danger; not just anyone can enter."

Qin Miyue said firmly, "We have no ill intentions, we just want to explore."

After a moment of silence, the man in black nodded. "Since you have the courage and determination, then go ahead. Don't blame me for not warning you."

The man in black then led them through the forest, around a giant stone statue...
He stopped in an open space. "You can go over there yourselves."

Tian Siyao, Qin Miyue, and Chen Ze looked around expectantly.

This open space is covered with all sorts of mysterious flowers and plants, emitting an intoxicating fragrance.

Tian Siyao said softly, "Let's look around."

The three decided to split up and search the open space, hoping to find more clues.

They worked with excitement and focus, exchanging information with each other whenever they discovered a valuable marker.

During her search, Tian Siyao suddenly noticed a striking symbol.

She remembered seeing similar symbols when solving the mystery before.

“This is a symbol associated with the legend of Lotus Village!” she exclaimed excitedly.

The three of them huddled together, tense yet excited.

"This means we're one step closer to the answer!" Qin Miyue said happily.

Tian Siyao, Qin Miyue, and Chen Ze entered the entrance deep into the Misty Earth Vein, their hearts filled with tension and vigilance.

Everything before them was shrouded in dense darkness, and they could only maintain contact through physical touch.

"Everyone be careful, don't separate," Tian Siyao whispered a reminder.

"I understand," Qin Miyue replied, gently taking Tian Siyao's hand in the darkness.

Chen Ze then relaxed and looked around.

The three of them continued forward in tacit agreement, their steps cautious and deliberate.

A damp atmosphere permeated the darkness, as if countless ghosts were wandering in the shadows.

Suddenly, a piercing scream shattered the silence.

"What is that?" Chen Ze gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, searching for the source of the sound in the darkness.

Tian Siyao bit her lip tightly. "I think I heard a lot of screams."

Qin Miyue gently pressed her finger to her lips, signaling them to be quiet.

They clung tightly to the wall and continued moving forward cautiously.

The world in the darkness seemed endless.

As they moved forward, the screams became more frequent and closer. (End of Chapter)
