Full-Time Magister: The Evil Emperor Descends
Chapter 15 I Still Have You
Chapter 15 I Still Have You
On the way home, Mo Xie rode his bicycle absentmindedly.
The setting sun shone on Mo Xie, but he felt a little uncomfortable and wanted to escape the sunlight.
It felt like my feet were tied to a piece of iron, and it took a lot of effort to take each step.
What should have been an easy journey has now become exceptionally difficult.
Mo Xie realized something was wrong with her condition, so she parked her bicycle by the roadside, sweat dripping from her forehead.
Mo Xie was having some difficulty breathing, so she went into a supermarket to buy a bottle of water to calm herself down.
As soon as Mo Xie entered the supermarket, she spotted a little boy staring longingly at the drinks in the refrigerator, occasionally swallowing hard.
"Want to drink?"
Mo Xie asked the little boy.
The little boy stared with his big eyes and nodded blankly.
Mo Xie took two bottles of Sprite out of the refrigerator and handed one of them to the little boy.
"My brother is treating you."
Mo Xie took her Sprite and went to the cashier to pay.
The little boy looked at the Sprite in his hand, hesitated for a moment, and finally drank it.
"Ok!"
The little boy had a satisfied expression on his face.
Seeing the little boy's appearance, Mo Xie smiled, walked over to him, pulled down his mask, and took a big gulp.
"what!"
Moye let out a comfortable sigh of relief.
The little boy stared at Mo Xie's face and said in surprise, "Are you the big brother from TV?"
Mo Xie was stunned for a moment, truly not expecting that a little boy could recognize him.
He knelt down, patted the little boy's head, and asked, "Little brother, how did you recognize me?"
“My sister likes you a lot,” the little boy said, blinking.
"Haha, really?" Mo Xie chuckled, then asked, "Why are you here all alone? Where are your parents?"
“Dad went to work, and Mom hasn’t been home for a long time. My older sister has been taking care of me at home.”
The little boy's face fell down whenever his mother was mentioned.
Mo Xie had a pretty good idea of what had happened to the little boy's mother; there were only two possible outcomes.
"But I've made up my mind. When I grow up, I'll take care of my dad and sister!"
The little boy looked up and said earnestly, his face strangely cute.
"Looks like you've grown into a man."
Moye couldn't help but give a thumbs up.
"Xiao Ye, Xiao Ye!" A hurried voice came from not far away.
"Sister, I'm here!" the little boy named Xiaoye waved and shouted.
A young girl rushed over, panting, and demanded, "Xiao Ye, where did you run off to? Do you know how worried I was about you!"
"I'm sorry," Xiao Ye said, looking down with a wronged expression.
"Hello." Mo Xie stepped forward and greeted them.
"Ah! You are... Senior Mo Xie! Hello!"
The girl covered her mouth with both hands, looking on in disbelief.
"By the way, you call me senior, are you also a student at Shuilan Middle School?" Mo Xie asked with a smile.
"Yes, I... I'm in the first year of junior high!" the girl said timidly.
"Don't be so nervous."
Mo Xie swiped the spatial ring on her finger, and two tickets appeared in her hand.
"for you."
"This, this is... a concert ticket!" the girl exclaimed in surprise as she looked at the ticket in her hand.
In addition to some nationwide tours and a large-scale concert in the summer, Mo Xie holds a small concert in Bocheng every year before the Lunar New Year.
One unique feature of the small concerts in Bocheng is that the tickets are free.
Tickets are obtained through a dedicated website, which is mostly open to residents of Bocheng. Simply put, getting a ticket is purely a matter of luck.
Very fair and just!
The concert is called "small" because Bocheng is not like those first-tier cities; it is not large in scale, and the number of tickets is naturally not as many as for a regular concert, with a very limited number available.
Not to mention the VIP tickets in Mo Xie's hands; if those two tickets were sold, who knows how much money they could fetch!
"Is it really for me?!" the girl exclaimed, flattered.
“I really like your younger brother. If you have time, you can bring him to see us,” Mo Xie said with a smile.
"Okay, we'll definitely go! Thank you, Senior Moye!"
The girl was extremely excited. She never imagined that she would meet Mo Xie and even get a concert ticket that was so hard to come by.
"Then I'll leave first."
Mo Xie put on a mask and turned to leave.
"Big brother!"
Xiao Ye called out to Mo Xie as he was leaving.
Moye turned around again and looked at Xiaoye quietly.
"Thank you for your drink!"
Xiao Ye raised her drink high and shouted.
Mo Xie made an "OK" sign with her hand before riding away.
——·——
Back home, Mo Xie opened the door and saw Mo Fan and Ye Xinxia watching TV on the sofa, though Mo Fan was sprawled out. As soon as Mo Xie entered, Mo Fan jumped up.
"Brother, you're finally back! I'm starving!"
"Sorry, I'll go now."
Mo Xie habitually rubbed her younger brother's head.
At this moment, Ye Xinxia suddenly made a sound.
"Brother Moye, are you alright?"
Mo Xie was taken aback; he hadn't expected Ye Xinxia to ask that question.
"I'm fine. Just wait a little longer, dinner will be ready soon."
After Mo Xie finished speaking, she quickly went into the kitchen.
"Hurry up, hurry up!" Mo Fan shouted urgently.
Ye Xinxia looked at Mo Xie's retreating figure, lost in thought.
After having a good dinner, Mo Xie went back to her room, took a shower, and lay down on the bed.
Mo Xie didn't want to move at all, not because she was physically tired, but because she was mentally exhausted.
I just wanted to keep spacing out, and the chandelier in my line of sight gradually started to appear double.
Not long after, a small hand waving in front of Mo Xie's eyes.
Mo Xie blinked and turned to look at the side, where Ye Xinxia was sitting on the edge of the bed, waving her little hands.
"Xinxia, when did you arrive?"
Mo Xie sat up and asked.
"I knocked on the door from the outside, but you didn't hear me, so I just came in."
"I was spacing out, so I didn't hear you."
Mo Xie pressed her palm against her forehead, her brows furrowed.
Looking at Mo Xie's expression, Ye Xinxia asked with concern.
"Brother Moye, are you really alright?"
"It's nothing, it's probably just a headache, nothing serious."
Mo Xie understood Ye Xinxia's worries and comforted her.
"Does your head hurt...?"
A pair of arms reached out, and the next moment, Mo Xie could feel himself sinking into something soft.
"I... I heard that this would be better..."
Ye Xinxia hugged Mo Xie's head to her chest and said shyly.
Ye Xinxia was wearing a cool nightgown, and Mo Xie could feel the touch more clearly. Although Ye Xinxia was still young, her development was already far beyond that of her peers.
Xinxia has really grown up... Mo Xie couldn't help but sigh in his heart.
"Xinxia, don't do this."
Mo Xie tried to look up, but Ye Xinxia held him tightly, even more so.
"It's alright, Brother Moye."
Ye Xinxia held Mo Xie and spoke in a soft voice.
“I don’t know what Mo Xie has been through, but you don’t have to bear it all alone. You can rely on us when you have time. Don’t forget, Xin Xia and Mo Fan are here. Mo Xie, you still have us.”
"You still have us..." Mo Xie was shaken by these words.
"Xinxia."
Mo Xie stretched out his arms and embraced Ye Xinxia's slender waist.
"Do you know how gentle you are?"
"Eh, really?"
"Okay, brother is alright now, thank you Xinxia."
Mo Xie patted Ye Xinxia on the back, indicating that she could let go.
"That……"
The next second, the room fell into darkness.
"Xinxia?"
Mo Xie broke free from Ye Xinxia's embrace and looked at her with a puzzled expression.
Before Mo Xie could react, Ye Xinxia lunged forward and pinned him down on the bed.
"Then, Xinxia wants to sleep with Brother Moxie tonight, is that okay?"
Ye Xinxia curled up and snuggled into Mo Xie's arms.
"Not so good."
Mo Xie was shocked by Ye Xinxia's actions and was somewhat at a loss.
"Is it okay for my little sister to sleep with her brother?" Ye Xinxia asked sweetly.
“…Alright then.” Mo Xie sighed, pulled the blanket over himself, and wrapped his arms around Ye Xinxia, finding a comfortable position.
“Xinxia is so big now, but she still likes to stick to her brother.”
"Hmm, what a blockhead..."
"what happened?"
"It's nothing, go to sleep."
Mo Xie hugged Ye Xinxia, thinking: Yes, I still have you, but how can I rely on you? After all, I am the older brother.
