Chapter 76. The First Fan

On Friday, May 30th, all students of the Experimental Primary School celebrated Children's Day early.

Each grade level brainstormed and came up with five programs, and in the end, the six grades across the school organized more than thirty games for the students to enjoy.

"Brother Qingfan, Ningning doesn't know the answer to this question. It says 'Fifteen days, what character is it?'" Lin Wanning racked her brains for a while but still couldn't come up with the answer, so she showed the slip of paper with the riddle to Xu Qingfan.

Xu Qingfan took the note and looked at it. He originally thought that Lin Wanning hadn't finished reading the content, but he didn't expect that it really was only one word every fifteen days.

"Brother Fan, you dropped something!" Suddenly, a student volunteer who was working at the stall pointed to a piece of paper on the ground and said to Xu Qingfan.

"Huh? I didn't drop anything!" Xu Qingfan said, but he still bent down and picked up the A4 paper on the ground. Then he saw the words "Complete Collection of Riddle Answers" in bold black letters.

"This is yours. What's your name, classmate? I'll treat you to a Coke another day!" Xu Qingfan patted the person's shoulder calmly and returned the paper he had just picked up.

The man felt a surge of energy as Xu Qingfan touched his shoulder. His eyes lit up as he looked at Xu Qingfan: "Brother Fan, my name is Zhao Wumian, from Class 10, Grade 1! "Brother Qingfan, if you can't think of anything, then forget it. There's a water ping-pong ball game over there, Wanning wants to play too!" Lin Wanning tugged at Xu Qingfan's school uniform hem and said.

"No." Zhang Yiyi smiled sweetly, held out the note in her hand, and tilted her head to look at him.

Xu Qingfan nervously took the note, picked it up and read: It wasn't bamboo growing taller and taller, guess a plant.

Thankfully, he knew how to do it, and it was a false alarm. Xu Qingfan confidently took out the small notebook from Zhang Yiyi's pocket and wrote on it: It's sugarcane, you silly girl!
As he handed the notebook over, he also patted the little girl on the head.

"Oh!" The little girl nodded, looking at the contents of the notebook as if she understood but not quite.

Remembering the help Zhao had given him earlier, Xu Qingfan stepped forward again and asked, "Do you know about 'Hilarious Daily Life'?"

"I know! I love watching it!! I've visited every bus stop in Licheng these past few days. Brother Fan, do you want to hear a joke? I'll tell you one!" Zhao Wumian said excitedly.

He had originally planned to randomly check how much attention the students at the Experimental Primary School paid to "Hilarious Daily Life," but he ended up encountering a big fish right away.

"Really! You think our comics are good too?" Lin Wanning asked excitedly, pulling Zhang Yiyi's hand forward.

"It's definitely true! Here, look at this, it's all mine. What?! You're saying you guys drew the comics?!" Zhao Wumian had just pulled a notebook out of the bag with his left hand when he realized what was happening and pointed at the three of them in disbelief.

"Of course, we drew it. The pen name is Yiwangqingshen, Yiyi, Wanning's 'Wang' and Qingfan's 'Qing'!" Lin Wanning said with a smug little expression, counting on his fingers as he introduced it.

Zhao Wumian was so surprised he was incoherent: "You, you guys, me...comic book"

"Thank you for liking our comics. We'll send you a signed copy next Monday." Xu Qingfan patted the other person on the shoulder and smiled as he took the notebook the other person had taken out.

Upon opening it, I found it was filled with battle-damaged excerpts from the comics.

He smiled and signed the cover with a pen: Unwavering Devotion – Xu Qingfan
Zhang Yiyi and Lin Wanning couldn't stop laughing after seeing the appalling fan-made comics in their workbooks.

The two children followed suit, taking a pen and writing below Xu Qingfan's signature:

Looking at the three extra signatures on his notebook, Zhao Wumian couldn't calm down for a long time: "Brother Fan, don't worry, I will definitely help you promote the 'Hilarious Daily Life' comic at school!"
