Siheyuan: Relieve stress and relieve worries

Chapter 1248 Sister's Advice

Chapter 1248 Sister's Advice
The three gates slowly opened, and carriages filed in, followed by the group of people entering the mansion.

Kournikova glanced around the crowd a few times before heading to the school.

When Kova arrived at the school, everyone was gathered in the courtyard. Standing on the high stone platform at the front were Bu Ling and his subordinates, as well as Bai Nanshan and his subordinates.

Clearly, the leader was giving a speech and immediately noticed the late Kournikova.

Wang, the academic affairs officer, hurriedly said, "Kuwa, hurry back to your kitchen. The adults will be having dinner here soon."

Bruno clearly remembered the handyman boy and wanted to say something, but he swallowed his words.

Kournikova walked toward the kitchen.

Around noon, several adults and some of the school's administrative staff ate lunch together.

Bai Nanshan said, "Brother Buling, I guess you won't be able to find this book again. I have some at home, I'll donate it to the school first, and you can figure out the rest yourselves. Just get through this assessment first."

Bu Ling was also extremely annoyed and said, "My lord, this is the only way. Please don't let this get out to me. The Ouyang family from Zhongzhou and the Wu family from Dongzhou have both come. If this gets out, I will lose face."

Bai Nanshan whispered in Bu Ling's ear, "Don't worry, I'll handle this. I'll leave the school to you. Invite them to a night of wine and women to shut them up."

Bruno's eyes lit up. "Great idea! Let's do it this way."

After lunch, everyone left. Wang, the academic affairs officer, approached Kournikova and said meaningfully, "Kournikova, it's almost time for you to graduate. I don't have anything to give you, so..."

“Graduation? What graduation? Oh, I see, there’s going to be an assessment, they’re going to kick me out, aren’t they?” Kournikova said.

Wang, the academic affairs officer, was stunned for a moment, his mind racing. This Kova isn't stupid.

Kournikova continued, "Come on, Dean Wang, let's settle the accounts. Once it's settled, I'll take the money and leave."

Wang, the academic affairs officer, was bewildered and asked, "What account?"

Kova found a box, sat down, and said, “Wang, you see, I came here when I was five, right? I’ve been doing odd jobs ever since. I’ve never attended a class, never received any books, never received any writing materials. I’m twelve this year, and I’ve worked for seven years, twelve months a year, a total of eighty-four months. The wages for this odd job are clearly marked as two hundred coins a month, right? You should give me sixteen thousand eight hundred coins. Is that right? Mayor Bai hasn’t gone far yet.”

Wang, the academic affairs officer, was stunned when he heard this. After listening, he thought it made sense, but before he could say anything...

"By the way, you have to refund my tuition for seven years. I didn't even study, and you're charging me tuition? That's fraud under the law," Kournikova continued.

Wang, the academic affairs officer, broke out in a cold sweat, but then realized something was amiss and said, "Your tuition was all paid by Lord Bu Ling."

Kournikova chuckled and asked, "For whom did Lord Buring submit this?"

“You,” Academic Affairs Officer Wang replied.

Kournikova continued, "That was because Lord Bruno was kind-hearted; he saw my family was poor and paid for me, meaning it was for me. Isn't that right?"

"Yes!" Wang, the academic affairs officer, replied.

"That's my money. If you don't give it back to me, isn't that fraud?" Kournikova asked.

"Yes, oh, no," Wang, the academic affairs officer, stammered, confused.

Kourva said indignantly, "If you don't give it to me, I'll go to the town government to file a complaint tomorrow."

In the evening, Kournikova walked out of the school carrying her money bag.

He turned to look at the school's signboard and muttered, "Trying to take advantage of me? No way."

At the same time, a commanding shout came from the main hall of the school: "What do you mean, five years old to enter school? Have you all forgotten? That little brat was nine years old when I dragged him into school. A bunch of idiots, my money!"

Kournikova strolled slowly toward the town's market.

The market was crowded. At the head of the market, Blind Zhang was talking incoherently, surrounded by a large crowd.

Kournikova walked over and stood at a distance behind her, listening.

Blind Zhang said, "This Madam Sun is no pushover. She refused outright. When the Wu family saw this, they heard there was discord in the family, so they started to instigate the second and third wives. But the second and third sons firmly stood on the side of the first wife. They just said one thing: 'Give gifts to everyone you meet.' The Wu family had no choice but to leave the mansion."

Kova only heard half of what was being said, but she guessed that the Wu family wanted both a person and a gift. No one in the Wang family knew who the person was, so they were asking for the gift as a second choice. But the Wang family wanted her husband, and they were willing to fight to the death if they didn't see him.

I guess Blind Zhang heard it from the Wang family servants. No, wait, he's telling me this.

Kournikova slipped away.

The Western Hills are still beautiful in winter, but not many people come here. It's too close to the fog, and who knows when the wind will blow.

Kournikova is back in the West Hills, back at her house. Shouldn't we celebrate today?
Upon entering the courtyard and seeing the scene inside, Kournikova felt a little dizzy!

The ugly girl is frolicking in her new house; the grape trellis is already full of grape skins. Who built that ugly shed next to the cowshed? The pots in front of the shed are quite nice, though they look vaguely familiar.

Walking into the inner courtyard, I thought, "Hey, who planted this little pine tree?" It looks familiar too. "Isn't that my bonsai?" I said, "That pot looks familiar. Ugly girl, are you going to raise a dog?"

Kournikova shouted, "Ugly girl!"

The ugly girl was biting into a chicken leg, her eyes brimming with tears.

"You yelled at me! You actually yelled at me! I was just eating a chicken leg; I haven't eaten all day."

Kournikova froze for a moment, then remembered that he hadn't cooked when he left.

"Where's Grandma?" "She's inside counting money. She's been counting all day!" Ugly Girl said irritably.

Kournikova thought that if he could do it all over again, he definitely wouldn't put so much stuff in. When they arrived at the storeroom, Grandma had just finished tidying up half of the room.

"Grandma, let's eat first," Kournikova said gently.

"What do you want to eat?" Grandma asked.

Kournikova thought for a moment and said, "How about we make a bowl of noodles?"

Grandma looked at him and asked jokingly, "Didn't you say that the only thing you should never miss is good food?"

Kournikova replied painfully, "I'll go cook." She turned and walked towards the kitchen.

"Give me more of that shark fin," Grandma's voice came from behind.

"Hey, here's your chicken leg back. I'm waiting to eat." Ugly Girl's voice came from the front.

Kournikova didn't say anything, turned and went into the kitchen, shouting, "It's all debt!"

The moon rises above the willow branches, and the West Mountain Valley is very quiet.

The three of them sat in the backyard. Kournikova and her grandmother were having a little wine, while Ugly Girl was drinking juice instead of alcohol. The three of them were very happy.

The dried fruit on the square table was probably for the school to serve guests.

"Grandma, I've lost my job," Kournikova said with a hint of sadness.

Grandma was surprised and asked, "When did you start working?"

"I was nine years old. Bruno took me to school, and I did odd jobs ever since," Kournikova said dismissively.

Grandma stood up abruptly and asked sternly, "So you didn't go to school?"

Kournikova broke out in a cold sweat, but tried to remain calm, saying, "Uh...uh...I did it! I learned to write."

Grandma sat down and said, "And then?"

"Um... um... I just do odd jobs when I have nothing else to do."

"Does that mean you've been in school for three years?" Grandma asked sternly.

"I don't think so. I learned what I wanted to learn. Besides, I made money," Kournikova said after thinking for a moment.

Grandma didn't believe him at all and said, "Show me your schoolbag."

Ugly Girl ran all the way and found all her brother's homework books, giving them to her grandmother.

After examining the writing, Grandma roared, "Little Kuzi, are you bullying your grandma? This isn't what you wrote before! Prepare to die!"

Ugly Girl handed the rattan cane to her grandmother at just the right moment.

The west bedroom in the early morning is warm and elegant.

"Tell me, did you lie to me too?" Ugly Girl blinked her big eyes, squatted on a stool, and looked at Kournikova on the bed.

Kournikova didn't want to pay any attention to her; she was unfairly beaten.

"You lied to Grandma saying you were going to study, and then you went to learn to cook, didn't you? I knew it." Ugly Girl seemed to have discovered a big secret and wasn't going to let him off the hook.

“No, I was forced. I studied, but I didn’t learn to cook,” Kournikova shouted.

"Keep being stubborn. I'll go get a bucket of salt water and soak the rattan in it. Maybe we can use it tonight." Ugly Girl jumped off the stool and walked out.

Kournikova was on the verge of tears. What kind of sister was this? She couldn't stay here any longer.

Kournikova rolled off the bed, quietly opened the door, and just as she turned around...

"Bring Daben along, he doesn't seem to have eaten anything." Grandma's voice came from inside the house.

As I walked to the gate, I saw Da Ben following me listlessly.

Kournikova looked at it and said, "Serves you right for being so cocky. You've been taking baths so much that you can't even eat. You're the dumbest cow ever."

"Hey, you too, can't you go out and find something to eat yourself? Um... I'll teach you how to open the door when we get back."

The man and the ox headed straight into the mist.

The fog was thick, and only the Mercedes knew the way. Kournikova wisely closed her eyes and lay down on the cow's back.

"Bang" a loud noise.

Kournikova opened her eyes and said, "Every time I come, I won't appear unless there's some kind of commotion."

The Mercedes was eating voraciously; it was truly hungry.
