Compared with the original animation, if you have three Gudongs in your hand, you can place three counters in one turn. Theoretically, you only need to wait until the fourth turn to summon Gudong, and you don't have to wait ten turns like in the animation.

But in the animation, even if you don't draw Gudong, the 1-star normal monster will start counting the number of turns while it is on the field. But with the real card effect, you have to draw Gudong to start accumulating counters, so it doesn't matter if you summon a 1-star normal monster in advance.

The resistance of the real card Gudong has also been strengthened. The real card "Sleeping Giant Gudong" is not affected by the effects of any card, and the animation is just an effect object that cannot become a card.

To be honest, the animation effect is a bit unworthy of the demanding summoning conditions. From this point of view, the actual card is much more reasonable.
