In the past, the Chinese Navy would also use the Type 052 destroyer as the command ship. China's first aircraft carrier formation sometimes used the Type 052 destroyer as the command ship, and sometimes used the Type 001 light aircraft carrier as the command ship.

As for the 002 aircraft carrier, which forms China's second aircraft carrier formation, the 002 aircraft carrier is not defined as a command ship, nor does it carry the fleet's highest commander. Instead, the 002 aircraft carrier itself is only responsible for strike missions, not command missions.

Therefore, Liu Tao specially designed the Type 055 destroyer, which is not only the new generation of destroyers of the Chinese Navy, but also the flagship of the fleet.

The Type 055 destroyer is a new type of Chinese fleet air defense destroyer and a new generation of main battleship of the Chinese Navy. It has powerful firepower, air defense, anti-submarine and ocean-going combat capabilities, and has full-dimensional space combat capabilities and ocean-going escort capabilities.

The entire Type 055 destroyer is 183 meters long and 23 meters wide. Its standard displacement is 10000 tons and its full load displacement is 14500 tons. It is much larger than the Type 052 destroyer in both size and tonnage.

The power system adopts an integrated all-electric propulsion system based on direct current, with a speed of 30 knots and a cruising range of 9000 nautical miles.

Compared with the Type 052 destroyer, the comprehensive combat capability of the Type 055 destroyer has been greatly improved. It has a universal vertical launch system with 64 units in the front and 64 units in the rear, totaling 128 units, which can be loaded with air defense missiles, anti-submarine missiles, ship-to-ship missiles and cruise missiles. In addition, it is also equipped with a 1mm single-barrel naval gun, 130-unit "Aegis" short-range air defense missiles and other close-in defense weapons, which can effectively resist the enemy's saturation attack. It is also equipped with 24 2mm triple torpedo launchers, in addition to which it is equipped with 324 "Ray Eagle" anti-submarine helicopters or 2 "Wu Diao" anti-submarine helicopters, which can perform long-range anti-submarine missions.

In terms of the radar system, a comprehensive upgrade has been carried out to enhance the performance of air and sea radars. At the same time, the performance of the sonar system has also been enhanced, giving it stronger air and sea search capabilities, as well as the ability to search for enemy submarines.

The long-range air defense missiles have also been upgraded, using the new "Aegis" long-range air defense missiles, with a maximum range of 600 kilometers, giving the Type 055 destroyer powerful long-range, medium-range and short-range air defense capabilities.

In addition, the level of automation and stealth capability have also been greatly improved. Although the tonnage has increased, the radar radiation area at sea is actually smaller than that of the Type 052 destroyer.

Even more, future improved versions will add electromagnetic guns and laser close-in defense technology, making it a powerful force in safeguarding China's national security and overseas interests!

Liu Tao plans to produce eight Type 8B destroyers and three Type 055A command ships in the first batch, and all are expected to be delivered by 3. The biggest difference between Type 055A and Type 2007B is that Type 055A has improved its combat command system, which enables it to better command and fight the fleet. Its computer performance, optical fiber bus and optical fiber LAN capabilities have been greatly improved, allowing Type 055A to command all ships in the fleet and grasp the actual dynamics of each ship.

Once the Type 055 destroyer enters the aircraft carrier formation, it will become the most combat-capable warship in the entire aircraft carrier fleet and the truly most powerful "sword-bearing guard"!
Compared with the production of Type 052 destroyers, as the world's largest shipbuilding center now, it has trained a large number of technical talents and senior technical workers over the years, and there is no problem in producing Type 055 destroyers.

Moreover, there is no need to start construction one ship at a time, but construction can be started in batches.

Not only Yangcheng Shipyard can build it, but also Beibu Gulf Shipyard, Mawei Shipyard, Dalian Shipyard and Jiangnan Shipyard can all build it.

In such a large petrochemical base, the refinery has a crude oil refining capacity of 200 million barrels per day and an annual crude oil refining capacity of 1 million tons.

In addition to processing different oil products such as gasoline, the refineries here can also produce gaseous fuels, synthetic gas, petrochemical products, as well as lubricating oil and asphalt raw materials.

On the helicopter, Liu Tao could see two 40-ton tankers and three 30-ton tankers pumping oil into the refinery.

Of course, this is not the only chemical base of Panshan Group. Panshan Group has three major petrochemical bases.

These three chemical bases are also the largest chemical bases in the country, with a total designed crude oil refining capacity of 200 million barrels per day.

The finished oil products refined by these three chemical bases are not only supplied to China, but also exported to Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia.

These three chemical bases are all under the jurisdiction of China National Petroleum Corporation.

In addition to refined oil, other chemical products are also produced here.

For example, the asphalt used in the construction of highways comes from these chemical bases.

Before this, because the international crude oil price was relatively low, the output value of this chemical base was about 600 to 700 billion yuan, and it paid a large amount of taxes every year.
