The five Central Asian countries and Russia can supply oil and gas to China through oil and natural gas pipelines, but this part only accounts for about 20% of China's oil and natural gas imports.

It is impossible for China to import 100% of its oil and natural gas from the Middle East, nor is it possible to import 100% of its oil and natural gas from the five Central Asian countries and Russia.

Now the Americans occupy most of Iraq, at least the core areas of Iraq are under the control of the Americans.

Then, the next step for the Americans, in addition to managing Iraq and rebuilding Iraq's oil and gas industries so as to produce and export oil for profit, will inevitably be to use Iraq as a fulcrum to spread their influence to the entire Arab world, enhance their influence and status in the Middle East through various means, and then gain hegemony over the Gulf, and even use this opportunity to control the Red Sea and the Suez Canal.

The United States wants to gain hegemony over the Gulf and the entire Middle East, rather than allowing Saudi Arabia to gain hegemony over the Middle East. Americans have never wanted to see Arab integration.

This is the irreconcilable contradiction between the two sides.

Furthermore, in terms of culture, one is Christian civilization and the other is Islamic civilization, and both civilizations themselves are highly exclusive.

It is very difficult for Europe and the United States to achieve win-win cooperation in the zero-sum game.

However, Chinese civilization is very inclusive.

In addition, there is Iraq, and some support cannot be cut off!

Saddam, Rashid and others did not die, but moved from the open to the dark, so that they can continue to cause trouble for the Americans in Iraq.

As long as they are there, Iraq will never be truly peaceful, and Americans will not be able to carry out reconstruction work in Iraq peacefully and steadily.

As long as the Americans cannot profit from Iraq, they will have to continue investing, and this will be a bleeding wound.

In addition, there are also many things that can be done outside the Middle East.

For example, we can further accelerate the regional economic integration of ASEAN 10+1 and South Asia 14+1, build a stable back garden, and it is also a huge market. Then we can promote the integration of Northeast Asia and strengthen the dialogue and exchanges between the two sides; and we can try to strengthen the Central Asian 5+1 strategy. Although this is bound to conflict with Russia's interests, there is no way, because this is how the game between major powers works.

Of course, there is also Africa and Latin America, which are emerging markets with great potential.

On the other hand, it is cooperation and exchanges with the European Union to further strengthen the relationship between the two sides.

To be honest, the two sides are far enough apart that there is not much conflict of interest. They can even be said to be natural allies with many common interests.
