C919 is a medium-range jet airliner developed by the research and development team based on Chinese technology. It has been independently developed from the beginning in accordance with international airworthiness standards and has independent intellectual property rights. It is designed and positioned in the 150-seat single-aisle narrow-body aircraft market.

It can be said that C919 is excellent and successful.

But its positioning is that of a medium-range trunk passenger aircraft, a single-aisle narrow-body aircraft with 150 seats!
China, of course, cannot be satisfied with just the Y-10 and C919!

From the beginning of its design, C929 was positioned as a wide-body medium- and long-range passenger aircraft, that is, a long-range wide-body passenger aircraft between the Boeing 767 semi-wide-body passenger aircraft and the Boeing 787 passenger aircraft.

The country attaches great importance to the C929 wide-body passenger aircraft because it is an aircraft that can carry out intercontinental flights and is a large aircraft that can fly directly from China to the United States, South America or Europe.

From the perspective of national defense and security, this type of air transportation should naturally be firmly controlled by the Chinese. After all, if a secret door is left, the loss of an airplane crash will be very staggering, and the casualties will be very heavy.

To put it in a darker way, an Airbus or Boeing aircraft is no different from a large missile at a critical moment.

To understand how much damage a passenger plane can cause, just look at the losses in the 911/ attacks in the United States.

There is no tall building in the world that can withstand a collision with a passenger plane.

There was no other way before, and China had to purchase Airbus or Boeing aircraft to meet China's growing aviation needs and promote China's civil aviation industry.

Since China developed regional aircraft and mainline aircraft, the number of domestically-produced aircraft in civil aviation has been increasing.

For example, China's regional aircraft are now all Y-13, Y-8, and Y-9 passenger aircraft models, among which the Y-13 is the most numerous. After the successful development of the Y-10, the number of Y-10 aircraft of China Civil Aviation Corporation has been increasing every year.

Of course, there is another very important reason, which is for the development of the aviation industry.

The aviation industry is definitely a high value-added industry with a long industrial chain and high profits. Only when there are more high value-added industries like these can more high-paying jobs be provided.

Japan has never given up on large passenger aircraft, but after investing heavily, there is still no sign of it.

This expert group can be said to be quite large, and the experts in various professions are all top experts in China.

Liu Tao is also very satisfied with the progress of C929. If nothing unexpected happens, C929 will be able to complete its maiden flight and finalize its design during the th Five-Year Plan period, and will be able to go into mass production and delivery during the th Five-Year Plan period.

By then, China's entire aviation industry will be larger and more advanced.

But you must know that C929 is not the end. Once C929 is successfully developed, C939 will definitely be developed.

The C939 project has been approved and is a long-range wide-body passenger aircraft.

As for the C949 developed during the 380th Five-Year Plan, it will be an ultra-large wide-body passenger aircraft, competing with Airbus's A747 and Boeing's .

By now, the production capacity of the C919 passenger aircraft has become very strong.

By next year, the annual production of C919 passenger aircraft will reach 100, and this production capacity is still increasing.
