Chapter 826 Inspection
Liu Tao looked helpless.

There's nothing we can do about it.

Who could have thought that such a variable would suddenly appear.

Liu Tao in Yun Province naturally knew the wind in the capital. After all, he was at the core of the vortex, so how could he not know?

Even some people who usually keep a low profile in Panshan Group have jumped out.

That really surprised Liu Tao.

Many of them were people he personally promoted and trained.

It was only at this time that Liu Tao realized that the people he thought were his were actually someone else's.

Liu Tao did not take any action against them because the timing was not right and he had to wait until later, after the incident was over.

Even if Liu Tao really leaves Panshan Group, someone will naturally deal with these people.

Moreover, this incident was brought up for a final accounting, which is that over the years, it was common for employees of Panshan Group to have two, three, or even four children.

In this regard, a large sum of money is paid to the relevant departments every year.

Naturally, this matter has been blamed on Liu Tao, who has been criticized for indulging employees and failing to fulfill his leadership responsibilities.

What could Liu Tao say? Whatever he said at this time would be wrong.

The three of them drank two more glasses of wine, and since they knew each other well, they could say anything and dared to say anything.

The tremendous pressure that Liu Tao had been under during this period was also released at this time.

Before, he had been silently bearing all the pressure by himself.

No matter who accused him, he did not respond.

He even knew that some people reported him anonymously, while others reported him using their real names.

All he could do was remain silent and take all the blame.

He chose the path, and he has to keep going no matter what.

This time when he returned to Beijing for vacation, Liu Tao did not visit his leaders, but instead spent time with his wife and children.

In fact, he was too embarrassed to visit the leader.

The seven-day National Day holiday passed quickly.

After returning to Panshan Group headquarters and handling some matters, Liu Tao took his secretary and drove the "Ray Eagle" helicopter to the Three Gorges Dam.

Looking down from the air, there is a huge construction site below.

Currently, the first phase of the cofferdam has been completed and the ship lock is under construction.

The Three Gorges Ship Lock is a double-line five-level ship lock, the largest in the world, with a total length of 6.4 kilometers, including 1.6 kilometers of the main lock and 4.8 kilometers of the navigation channel. The normal water level in front of the Three Gorges Dam is 175 meters above sea level, while the lowest water level for navigation under the dam is 62 meters above sea level, that is, the ship lock has a height difference of 113 meters, and ships have to climb over the height of a 40-story building to pass through the lock.

It can be said that this is the largest ship lock in the world!

The Three Gorges Ship Lock is the ship lock with the most ship locks in the world. Its construction difficulty, ship lock length and water head difference are the highest in the world. The maximum working water head of a single stage is 45.2 meters, which is the "highest water head" among the ship locks in the world. The Three Gorges Ship Lock is located in the hills on the left bank of the dam area. A channel was opened up to build the ship lock. In order to build the ship lock, a total of 18 hills had to be flattened, and the maximum height of the slope excavation reached 170 meters, which is unprecedented in the world's ship lock construction.

With a large amount of funds, a large number of construction teams and construction equipment, the construction progress is very fast. The time point of the entire Three Gorges Project is very clear, and everyone's goal is to advance the time point as much as possible, rather than delay it.

After staying at the Three Gorges Dam for three days, Liu Tao went to inspect the four major hydropower stations on the Jinsha River.

Everyone's attention is focused on the Three Gorges Hydropower Station, but few people know that the four major hydropower stations on the Jinsha River are also century-long projects. In terms of installed capacity and power generation, the four major hydropower stations on the Jinsha River are even higher than the Three Gorges Hydropower Station.

Moreover, the difficulty of the construction is also rare in the history of Chinese water conservancy.

After a large number of reservoirs and hydropower stations were built in Yunnan Province over the past decade, a group of water conservancy talents and skilled construction teams have been trained.

In the past ten years or so, we have overcome a lot of difficulties, tackled many challenges, and accumulated a lot of construction equipment.

Without the accumulation of the past ten years, it would have been impossible to start the century-old projects such as the four major hydropower stations on the Jinsha River and the Three Gorges Hydropower Station.

Not only the construction team of the project, but also the construction workers of the Southwest Power Grid are erecting high-voltage towers and high-voltage wires on the vast land.

When the hydroelectric power station generates electricity, the electricity must be transmitted through the high-voltage power grid.

Therefore, the grid projects were launched simultaneously.

Although the Southwest Power Grid sells a lot of electricity every year, it is currently not profitable and is even losing money because it is frantically building and establishing the power grid.

Construction teams are working in the wilderness.

The construction of high-voltage power grids and substations always has a group of people working silently behind them.

In order to speed up the construction of the power grid, Panshan Group even dispatched a batch of "laser engraving" helicopters to the Southwest Power Grid.

Up to now, the emergence of Southwest Power Grid has led to reforms in China's power grid, forming a seven-power grid: Southwest Power Grid, Northeast Power Grid, Northwest Power Grid, North China Power Grid, East China Power Grid, Central China Power Grid, and Southern Power Grid.

These power grids each cover specific provinces and regions, forming relatively independent power supply networks.

For example, the Southwest Power Grid covers Sichuan, mountain cities, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, and snowy areas.

Then through cooperation, electricity is sold to the Central China Power Grid, East China Power Grid and Southern Power Grid.

Southwest Power Grid is the largest creditor of Central China Power Grid, East China Power Grid and Southern Power Grid. It not only owes the unpaid debts for purchasing electricity from the three major power grids, but also the debts for borrowing money from Southwest Power Grid for power grid construction.

The seven major power grids are independent, not subordinate to each other, and have parallel relationships, but they are also closely related and have frequent communications.

The power generation of the seven major power grids also shows obvious differences. The Northeast Power Grid, Northwest Power Grid, and North China Power Grid are mainly thermal power, supplemented by hydropower; the Central China Power Grid and East China Power Grid are equally focused on thermal power and hydropower; the Southern Power Grid is mainly hydropower and thermal power, supplemented by nuclear power; and the Southwest Power Grid is mainly hydropower, supplemented by thermal power.

Southwest Power Grid is the strongest, far surpassing the other six power grids in terms of financial resources, team building and fixed assets.

As for wind power and solar power generation, they are negligible in China at present.

Liu Tao attaches great importance to these large hub projects, and has attached great importance to them since the planning stage, because they are truly large-scale water conservancy projects for people's livelihood, which can generate huge economic and social benefits. However, if they are not done well, they will be harmful and the harm caused will be extremely great.

Not to mention the current construction phase, even during the operation phase, he would check on it every one or two years and discover problems in advance to prevent them from causing major disasters.

Because of the navigation plan for the Jinsha River, the four major hydropower stations on the Jinsha River are all equipped with ship lifts. When the project is completed in the future, coupled with the subsequent step-by-step development and construction, the entire Jinsha River will be navigable. Ships that are too large cannot pass through, but there will be no problem for 500-ton ships to pass through.

Now Panshan Group is investing heavily in building reservoirs and hydropower stations on the Yangtze River, Lancang River, Nujiang River, Yarlung Zangbo River and Pearl River, while the country is planning the development and utilization of the Yellow River.
