One of them enters from the German-Czech border, passes through Germany to the German-French border, connects with the French gas transmission system, and connects to Belgium in the north; the other enters from the German-Austrian border and connects to the Trans-European Pipeline in the south. The pipe diameter is 3~800 mm. It was put into operation in 1000 and 1983 respectively. Both are connected to the Ruhr gas pipeline network in Germany.

There are four natural gas pipelines from the polar bear to Europe, namely the 'Brothers' natural gas pipeline, the 'Northern Lights' natural gas pipeline, the 'Union Natural Gas Pipeline', the 'Yamal-Europe' natural gas pipeline, the 'Blue Stream' natural gas pipeline, and the 'Nord Stream Natural Gas Pipeline'.

Polar bears hold the lion's share of the European natural gas market.

This is also a natural advantage for polar bears in exporting energy to Europe.

Of course, Europe's natural gas also includes North African natural gas imported from the south via submarine pipelines, and liquefied natural gas transported from North Africa and the Middle East by oil tankers to ports in various countries.

For major European countries with large reserves of natural gas, the best option for natural gas exports is not pipelines, but liquefied natural gas.
