Greece: Zeus made me the queen of heaven?

Chapter 911 Nyx, the Goddess of the Night

Chapter 911 Nyx, the Goddess of the Night

The night is her veil, and the many stars in the night sky are her beautiful black dress.

Nyx, the goddess of the night, is a beautiful goddess, the gentle night sky. She wears a veil woven from starlight and drives her chariot across the sky in the darkness.

This ancient and noble goddess shares some similarities with Gaia.

Both are great goddesses of creation; Nyx is the goddess of night and also possesses the power of darkness.

Although Gaia is called the goddess of the earth, darkness and chaos are also her essence, and she also possesses the characteristics of the Great Mother Goddess.

Although they are two goddesses with very similar attributes, their personalities are completely different.

Gaia is self-centered and arrogant, seemingly calm but actually flamboyant; Nyx, on the other hand, is gentle and reserved, with a tranquil demeanor that is consistent inside and out.

This led to Eros's drastically different attitudes toward these two high-ranking goddesses.

Faced with Gaia, who was a genuine grandmother, Eros became arrogant and domineering, retaliating in kind.

After confirming that Hyperion was indeed prepared to rescue the Titans in Tartarus, Eros went directly to Nyx's residence.

The tranquil palace of the goddess of night had few maids. Nyx had many children, as well as many goddesses such as vice, dreams, sleep, and kindness, though most of them had their own lives and positions.

Not many remain in the underworld; the only ones who often stay by Nyx's side are the sisters Hypnos and Thanatos.

When Eros arrived, Thanatos and Hypnos were not there; only Nyx was lying quietly in his seat, seemingly asleep.

A black, star-studded gown cascaded down from her throne, obscuring several steps and outlining an elegant, slender silhouette, as if the entire night sky had been plucked from a painting and wrapped around her body.

The dark veil was mysterious and profound, and the only visible part of her lower face made people curious and want to find out what kind of face was hidden under the veil.

Eros, naturally drawn by this attraction, moved closer to the resting goddess.

Not only did he ascend the steps to the throne, but he also rudely extended his hand, seemingly trying to lift the veil from Nyx's face.

Even though Eros had come so close, the resting goddess of the night seemed unaware of his arrival until his fingertips touched her cheek.

A cool, delicate touch came from his fingertips. Eros was acting quite rudely, and having gone this far, it was impossible for him not to disturb Nyx, who was resting.

But clearly, Nyx did not. The touch from Eros woke her from her brief nap, and even through the veil of darkness, she could see Eros's deep, night-sky-like eyes looking at her through the veil.

"Phew... It's you."

Even Nyx's breath wasn't like that of the other goddesses; it was a cool, night breeze. Her beautiful eyes, visible through the veil, showed no trace of embarrassment or displeasure. She merely let out a sigh of relief at Eros's impolite behavior.

Are you curious about what I look like under my veil?

Nyx raised her hand and grasped Eros's fingertips, which were resting on her cheek, and asked in a calm tone.

Given her gentle demeanor, it's likely that if Eros agrees, she would be happy to unveil the veil and let him see the mysterious face.

But Eros gave an unexpected answer without even thinking.

"No, I don't want to unveil your face, I want to kiss you."

The words were extremely rude and disrespectful, and her fingertips even lightly traced her star-like, luscious lips. No ordinary person or god would dare to be so frivolous and disrespectful in front of Nyx.

Even when treated this way, Nyx's eyes showed no displeasure or anger; her eyes beneath the veil were as calm and serene as a starry night.

"If that's what you want..."

As Eros finished speaking, Nyx lowered her head, wrapped her arms around Eros's back, pulled him up, and gave him a light, decisive kiss.

The veil of night seemed to have no substance, offering no obstruction to any sensory contact or transmission.

Face to face, lips to lips, Nyx wasn't as passionate as other goddesses, but she wasn't awkward or stiff either; everything was just right.

"Are you satisfied now?"

After kissing for what seemed like an eternity, almost until nightfall, Nyx finally looked up, still holding Eros in her arms.

"You really dote on me so much."

Nestled in Nyx's arms, Eros couldn't help but sigh.

Eros was somewhat troubled by this treatment. After all, such a gentle response, and even asking if that was enough, seemed a bit too much.

Nyx, who was being complained about by Eros, simply smiled gently.

"Whether in the past or into the future, our fates have long been intertwined, forming an inseparable knot."

"We've already come to this point, what pointless questions are you still asking?"
