"However, cultivating to become an immortal or a Buddha is not something that can be accomplished overnight. If they go now, it will be difficult for them to return in less than a hundred years. After all, they need to carefully comprehend the Tao and must not be tainted by any worldly ties. Everyone should be mentally prepared."

The words of Dipankara Buddha appear outwardly to be full of benevolence and morality.

But in reality, he had already grasped the hearts of these people, and they would definitely send their children to the Buddhist order, since they were now in the chaotic universe.

No one feels secure. If their children can become members of the Buddhist order, they will surely ensure the continuation of their family line under such dynamic circumstances.

Besides, Buddhism is considered supreme in the hearts of these ordinary people, so how could they possibly refuse such a good thing?

Although the old man still had some doubts, he was so moved by the enthusiasm of the believers around him that he stopped saying anything.

Thus, under the deception of Dipankara Buddha, more and more parents sent their children abroad.

Their eyes were filled with hope that their children could have a better future in Buddhism, unaware that it was a cruel scam.

In the end, Dipankara Buddha gathered more than 500 boys and girls born in yin years, yin months, and yin hours, and led them in a grand procession toward Mount Sumeru.

Among these children, the youngest were only a few years old, still holding each other's hands in a daze; the oldest were no more than teenagers, and there were even a few in their twenties.

They chattered amongst themselves the whole way, their hearts filled with longing to become Buddhist disciples.

"I heard that becoming a Buddhist disciple allows you to learn supernatural powers, like flying!" a little boy exclaimed excitedly.

"Yes, yes, it can even save all living beings, how awesome!" a little girl chimed in.

The innocent children were talking amongst themselves about the life they longed for after becoming Buddhas, while the ancient Buddha, Lamp Buddha, listened. He merely glanced at them, shook his head slightly, and felt no pity whatsoever.

Compared to Buddha, he seems more like a true member of the demonic path.

When they arrived at Mount Ling, a dark cave entrance appeared before them.

Black mist filled the area around the cave entrance, and a sinister wind could be heard from time to time, as if countless wronged souls were crying.

It is completely different from a true Buddhist holy site.

The children immediately quieted down, their faces showing fear.

The youngest children even clung tightly to their companions, their eyes filled with fear.

"Big brother, this place doesn't seem to be where gods live, does it? It feels so scary."

Among the crowd, the youngest child, a five-year-old, tightly hugged a seven-year-old boy next to him and asked with some concern.

Even young children born in times of war learn many survival skills.

Looking at this black hole, it doesn't look like the place where a highly accomplished monk would live at all.

Seeing this, Dipankara Buddha quickly said, "Children, do not be afraid. This is a test from the Buddhist sect for you. Only by bravely passing through this cave can you truly become disciples of the Buddhist sect."

Under his coaxing, the children, though fearful, still headed towards the cave entrance one after another out of their desire to become Buddhist disciples.

Upon entering the cave, it was pitch black inside, so dark you couldn't see your hand in front of your face. The children could only cautiously grope their way forward, and every now and then someone would trip over a stone and cry out in pain.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, a glimmer of light suddenly appeared ahead. The children thought they had finally reached their destination and were overjoyed, so they quickened their pace.

When they emerged from the darkness, they witnessed a scene they would never forget.

The Buddha stood on a huge altar, exuding a strong demonic aura. His eyes flashed with blood-red light, like a demon from hell.

At this point, Tathagata had successfully entered the demonic realm, and was at the extremely ferocious Blood Demon level.

In his quest for revenge, he abandoned all Buddhist teachings and turned to demonic arts. During the years when Buddhism ruled the world, he eliminated many demonic practitioners and naturally acquired many demonic techniques as well.

Among these, the fastest way to increase cultivation is through the Blood Demon's technique, which involves absorbing the Yin energy of childhood girls from heaven and earth, and using their personality traits and essence to cultivate demonic arts.

The Buddha let out a burst of wild laughter: "Foolish mortals, you are nothing but materials for my cultivation." With that, he waved his hands, and black demonic flames instantly enveloped the children.

The children screamed in terror, their cries echoing throughout the space.

The Buddha opened his gaping maw, and demonic flames carrying the children's bodies flew towards him.

The youngest girl, her eyes filled with despair, reached out her small hand as if trying to grab something: "Mommy, save me..." However, her voice was quickly swallowed by the demonic flames.

The Buddha devoured these young boys and girls frantically, and with each one he devoured, his demonic aura grew stronger.

The blood of countless young boys and girls was drained, and their originally crystalline bodies were sucked dry.

Seeing the children's tragic deaths, the surrounding succulents smiled.

Even Randeng Gubo's face showed a hint of indifference.

The screams continued to rise and fall, and finally subsided after a while.

The Buddha licked his lips; below him lay the mummified corpses of all the children.

"Clean it up!"

The Buddha spoke simply, and the Arhats immediately understood: "We understand, Buddha!"

Afterwards, under the watchful eyes of several Arhats, the place returned to peace, and Tathagata began to practice the Demon Bow.
