Chapter 28 Stark and Godzilla

After Al finished speaking, Arthur Curry and Walid Jassem both realized something and their expressions stiffened.

“You’re insane, Carrot El.”

"Good luck to you too, Stark."

The storm's downpour lashed Arthur Curry's shoulders. He murmured something to himself and immediately plunged into the sea.

He didn't consider himself a megalophobe, but Godzilla's Titan-like body, which seemed like an abyss just from a distance, truly made him unable to muster any desire to get close.

But this is their only option at the moment.

"You don't have to go, child."

Walid Jassam clung to the mast, gripping the chains tightly. The old fisherman, who had sailed the seas for so long, didn't think many sailors would survive being swept away by the waves in such a storm.

"Protecting newcomers is the responsibility of every veteran sailor."

Arthur Curry returned to him the words the old captain had spoken to him in the house, and Walid Jassam saw in his resolute gaze the spirit of a true sailor. He coldly uttered a single sentence and disappeared into the sea:
“And I’ve said it many times, I’m not a newcomer.”

"Pfft!"

The next second, the spray from the submerged wave seemed to splash into the old captain's heart. Walid Jassem, tears welling in his eyes in the rain, gripped the mast even tighter, murmuring:
"Good luck, child, and may the sea god bless you and the other sailors."

"Good luck to you too, Captain."

Carrot El, gripping Stark by the neck, nodded to the old captain, and then...
"Boom!!!"

Above the sky and sea, the clouds rolled and thunder roared, creating an apocalyptic scene. The last thing left was Carrot El's farewell smile and the sonic boom that echoed through the sky.

Gazing at the arc of light streaking across the sky, Walid Jassem's eyes held a deep sense of awe, and even more so, a profound longing.
A real man should roam freely across the land and soar through the waves.

What happened today will be an unforgettable day for Walid Jassem, and the most memorable day of his soon-to-retire fishing career.

He witnessed the real ocean, the people who could move freely in it, and even more so, the earthly god who seemed like a saint descended to earth.

“BOOM!!!!”

The storm swept across the sky, followed by a deafening roar that echoed through the heavens and earth, cascading down with the torrential rain.

With a gentle stomp, Godzilla landed lightly on the back of the fishing boat as it charged toward the boat.

"boom!"

In an instant, the waves, spreading out in ripples, looked as if some enormous creature had just surfaced and been pushed back to the seabed.

The aftershocks unleashed a monstrous wave of rabid dogs, a tsunami-like surge that drowned out the monster king's painful roar:
"Ow!"

Wow! Is it this exciting?!

Holding Al's arm tightly, Stark finally felt how powerful Carrot was from a first-person perspective.

But now, well, he'd never been this close to lightning before. He knew whether it would kill him or not; it might just strike him dead in the next second.

"Okay, what's our plan?"

Floating nearly a hundred meters in the air, with a vast ocean stretching for hundreds of kilometers, Stark was afraid of being so insignificant. What's more, there was a colossal beast in the ocean below.

Carrot El looked up at the sky. Due to the storm at sea, the satellites could only observe a cluster of moving clouds. However, in the sea, some submarines bearing the Monarchy logo were already heading towards them.

"It's simple, just feed yourself to it."

Godzilla gasped for breath, feeling like his spine was about to break. He looked up and Stark's nuclear energy immediately drew his scrutinizing gaze.

"Roar!!!"

Carrot El's aura was as steady as the long river at the end of time. He slowly floated to Godzilla's front, and Stark, who had staggered out of the sea, lifted him up in front of him.
"Madfak!" "Help! Help! Carrot, you perverted sadist! I hate you!!!"

At that moment, even the sudden rain couldn't hide the sheer terror on Stark's face.

He could now even see the lines on Godzilla's teeth, and the strong, fishy stench almost made him faint.

His legs went weak, and his whole body trembled uncontrollably.

"Hey big guy, how are you? You look pretty unique."

Suspended a hundred meters in the air, thunder roared overhead, and a gaping abyss was right next to him, with a sadistic and torturous man standing behind him.

This is a scene most people have probably never experienced. Stark felt that the fact that he could still speak made him one of the best among humans.

Godzilla sniffed the figure in front of it with a puzzled look, and then surprisingly took a step back.

"???"

Tony Stark paused, wondering what that meant.
You still look down on me, huh?
As Titans whose life had evolved to a certain level, Godzilla and its kind were not uncommunicable monsters.

Taking a step back is simply to see things more clearly.

When Godzilla sensed a similar aura at sea, it assumed that yet another colossal beast had been born that threatened its territory.

To my utter surprise, it turned out to be a person!

"Well"

Godzilla's cheeks twitched, and its cloudy eyes, etched with the marks of time, still held a fleeting look of absentmindedness as it gazed at Stark.

Carrot El chuckled and glanced at Stark in surprise:
"Oh, I didn't expect it to like you so much."

Tony Stark could no longer distinguish whether the water on his soaked body was rain or sweat; he collapsed, utterly exhausted, and said:

"Yes, I felt it. I should thank it for not taking a bite out of me."

To be honest, in a sense, Tony Stark and Godzilla are indeed kindred spirits from different races, because they both have reactors in their bodies.

"Are you impressed?"

"I dare not move! I dare not move!"

"You should be glad, otherwise it would have found you sooner or later."

Tony Stark sighed, a thought of this possibility crossed his mind, and a chill ran down his spine.

Indeed, it's impossible to never go to the beach in my entire life, but if I were to attract this thing without any precautions, it could be a disaster with countless deaths and injuries!

Seeing that Godzilla didn't seem to intend to attack him, Tony Stark finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Although he didn't think Carrot would actually feed him to the monster, the most primal fears of a creature were simply uncontrollable.

Stark's fantastical voyage has finally weathered another storm.

"Damn it!! Why are all these monsters and demons coming after him?! What did he do to deserve this?!"

As he thought about it, Tony Stark stared at the enormous, abyssal behemoth.

Time seemed to quiet down.

One person and one beast, like a turtle looking at a green bean.

Godzilla was interested in him, so how could Stark not be interested in Godzilla after meeting him!
