Chapter 33 Natasha Returns to Her Homeland

Chapter 33 Natasha Returns to Her Homeland
"Thank goodness, I can actually eat hot noodles in this freezing weather. I need to go to the restroom to empty my 'stock'."

Satisfied, Natasha forced herself to stay calm; heaven knows what kind of nonsense she had just heard.

Carrot El placed the noodles on the table, and looking at Stark, whose hands were covered in chilblains but who was still enduring them without uttering a sound, he couldn't help but say:
"Now that you've learned how to use your qi, why don't you try using that energy to keep warm?"

Stark sat shakily by the fire, then leaned back, feeling his face burning. Having been through so much, he was no longer the delicate playboy he once was; even in this situation, he could still chat calmly.
"I've already used it, okay? Otherwise, who would walk more than 30 kilometers with you in this godforsaken place without rest after being tortured by you for so long?"

"You have to thank Stark for his talent and intelligence; he learned to use this energy so quickly!"

"I also want to thank that big guy for the inspiration."

"By the way, what did you do to it? Did you kill it?"

Carrot also sat down by the fire, opened a bottle of wine, and covered himself with a blanket:
"He's not dead, he'll just be bedridden for a few months."

"The existence of Qi grows along with the individual; you'll have more practice to do in the future."

"Slurp. Slurp"

Tony Stark wearily picked up the bowl of noodles, his primal craving for food prompting him to gulp it down, but the weariness in his eyes couldn't mask the deep-seated weakness that clung to his bones.
"Maybe."

"Right now, I'd rather go home and get some sleep, shut down the weapons manufacturing department, take a hot spring bath, and have a barbecue feast."

"Go on a date with a chili pepper, and then try to find some sense of security for yourself."

Carrot El looked at Tony at this moment. Originally, this trip was supposed to take us to some other places, such as Skull Island.

But looking at Stark, who was clearly unable to withstand the torment of the new map, he decided to leave this special adventure to someone else.

What did you talk about with her?

After taking a sip of the noodle soup, Tony Stark seemed to have finally regained some strength, and his complexion improved slightly.
"The glorious history of the great Stark escaping kidnapping."

"Pretend I didn't ask."

Carrot El's super hearing was no joke; he could hear their conversation even though they were 800 miles apart.

A little while later, Natasha, also wrapped in a blanket, sat down with them to warm themselves by the fire.

The evening breeze blows, and the wilderness is cold and desolate.

No one could steal the secret from this female agent's long-closed heart.

But on this land, Natasha recounted the country's past with remarkable naturalness.
Although the noblest ideals born from humanity have vanished, they still stirred something within the female agent who had returned to her homeland.

Unfortunately, by the time she debuted, her lofty ideals were already fading away.

Raising a glass to the moon and sharing wine, even though Natasha Romanov could tell that she was deliberately trying to close the distance between herself and them.

But it must be admitted that this rare moment of quiet in his career is now taking place on these snow-capped cliffs.

Carrot El also enjoyed this moment; perhaps this was their last moment of peace before the arrival of a new era.
They remained silent all night, yet understood each other implicitly.

As the daylight blankets the sky, the silhouettes of polar bears fishing appear and disappear on the glacier.

This time, leading the way was Carrot El.

He seemed rather quiet today.

They didn't say a word the whole way.

"What's wrong with him? Didn't he sleep well last night?"

Natasha and Stark followed behind El, trudging through the snow, their steps uneven.

Tony Stark shrugged, and Al's silence made him less audacious than usual: "I don't know, but here's a piece of advice: it's best not to mess with him."

“Whoosh!” “Whoosh!”

"Whoosh!"

In the distance, a few fighter jets flashed by, appearing and disappearing into the sky in the blink of an eye.

Upon seeing this, Tony Stark frowned. As a weapons expert, he immediately realized that only a military-grade fighter jet equipped with retroreflectors could achieve such a level of stealth in the air.

"Is there a military base nearby?"

Stark narrowed his eyes in confusion, his calm demeanor completely contrasting with Al's expected composure, as he walked towards the cliff.

On the other side of the vast ice plain, a massive snow-covered city was erected from reinforced concrete.

The surging military vehicles and the helicopters hovering above embody the research achievements of human civilization.

The colossal steel city built deep within the glacial world is like a rare miracle in this snowy region.

"Let's go down from here."

Looking at the fully equipped military forces in front of him, Carrot El simply gave a cold laugh.

Natasha noticed that there was no fear in Carrot's eyes. He was so calm that he didn't even blink.

That indifference does not belong to humankind.

Because no human being would show disdain when witnessing firsthand the military power of modern technology.

Heading towards the military base, the group soon arrived at the end of a canyon.

Gazing at the eternally blue ice wall before him, Carrot stopped in his tracks.

"This is a dead end."

Natasha Romanov looked around: "El, where are we going now?"

"Should we seek help from the military base across the mountain?"

"No, let's go down this way."

Carrot El shook his head, reached out, and slowly touched the ice wall.

Natasha Romanov acted like an ordinary explorer, asking with puzzled surprise, "But this is a dead end, and there's no crack to climb down?"

Carrot El silently closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, the burning crimson light in his eyes instantly slammed into the ice wall.

"Zizzizi!"

"Zizzizi!"

"Zizzizi!"

Oh my god!!!

Natasha was so startled that she took two steps back, her right hand instinctively reaching for the gun hidden at her back waist. At the same time, she activated her signature weapon, the Widow's Sting.
Stark saw this action and didn't understand why Carrot would reveal his abilities in front of ordinary people.

But what he didn't know was that while Natasha's weapon was aimed at Carrot, her escape plan, which instantly formed in her mind, was to take him hostage.

"The answer is inside."

Almost instantly, the red light in Carrot's eyes dissipated. He had to carefully control his power, otherwise, if he lingered for even a second longer, the planet would have a wound running from north to south.

In the darkness, a vast, deep road stretching for thousands of meters came into view in the scorching heat as the red light dissipated.
