Chapter 53 The Name of Superman, His Background

Chapter 53 The Name of Superman, The Story of His Origins (The End)

Colonel Leon was incredibly excited. He never expected it, never in a million years, that he would be the ultimate beneficiary!
Wonder Woman, Black Widow, Iron Man, and Captain America, who was rescued from the ice by Diana's sword, all stared in disbelief, their worldviews shattered.

Suddenly, gunshots and cannon fire rang out across the azure sky. The missiles that were supposed to hit Carrot became fireworks set off specifically for him.

Amidst cheers and jubilation, Carrot silently waved to everyone, like a leader responding to his soldiers.

This scene made Tony Stark's jaw tremble; whether from the cold or from fear, he muttered under his breath:

"Good heavens, what kind of weird stuff has this guy learned in human society?"

Diana smiled gently, watching Al's retreating figure. She noticed that she had changed into her evening attire.

"That's good, it shows he's truly integrated into this community."

Steve Rogers immediately grabbed a blanket and draped it over himself, wrapping it tightly around his arms, his breath coming out in the cold air.
"Okay, now I know what cold is. I really don't know how I survived those 70 years."

Natasha rubbed her forehead in exasperation: "Damn, that was a really damn smooth move!"

Time stands still in the distant tomorrow. Sunlight reflected through the blue ice illuminates Carrot's smile as he slowly gazes towards the sky.
As the bonfire rose slowly and the bright moonlight spilled across the land, the Arctic Twelfth Military Base, amidst a large crowd of soldiers, finally welcomed a bonfire party marking the complete conclusion of its research project.

Natasha stayed by Hawkeye's side, feeding him a bowl of thick soup and telling him the story of Carrot and Nick Fury's ultimate fate.

As he listened, Clint Barton's wounds seemed to be torn open again and again, whether from laughter or anger, it was hard to tell.

Sergio Leon was sitting in front of his computer, frantically calling and emailing his boss.

On the other side of the computer, General Swann, in the military council, received the report from his subordinate. His expression was complex, but he was also stunned and remained silent for a long time.
Bruce Banner slowly woke up in bed, and the first thing he saw when he woke up was Carrot, which almost made him faint again.

Steve originally wanted to catch up with Stark, but these two, whose personalities were naturally incompatible, quickly started fighting after only a few words!

After undergoing Piccolo's hellish training, Stark was able to fight Captain America to a standstill without even needing his Iron Man armor. If it weren't for Stark's evenly matched attributes, he could have easily taken Stark down.

The soldiers returned to the military base as if in a dream, but many more discovered that their lives had taken an unexpected turn for the better, and they were still getting paid, drinking, eating, and being able to go home!

Having spent so many years in this godforsaken, icy wasteland, many soldiers were acutely aware of their homesickness. Carrot's rule, a combination of harsh measures and sweet promises, was not exactly sophisticated.

But since one is willing to build a stepping stone, and the other is willing to climb up.

Why wouldn't everyone want to do it?

As a result, countless soldiers were in an uproar, and the most talked-about topic was Carol.

Some say he is a god among men, some say he is a generous capitalist, and some say he is a deity who subdues monsters.

Of course, some people might think he might be the embodiment of a demon on earth, but what can you do when you're being paid for? As long as there's no poison in the food, what does it matter to me whether you're a god or a demon?

Besides, the people at the very top were all there toasting and drinking with him, so what did they have to worry about?

Some soldiers, drunk and emboldened, even wanted Al to go on stage and demonstrate his heat beam technique!

So when Carrot El looked at him with red eyes, the soldier gave a live demonstration of what it meant to be a hypocrite who loved dragons but was terrified of them.

"The World's Number One Martial Arts Tournament, that sounds interesting."

Amidst the wind and snow, Carrot Al and Diana stood side by side, watching Stark throw Captain America to the ground below the stage, their glasses clinking together.

These two, two of the Justice League's Big Three, finally met in the origin of this world. "What you said to Natasha before, was it a deliberate attempt to gather people like us together?"

Diana flicked a strand of hair and tentatively asked Carrot, expecting him to deny it. But to her surprise, the man nodded and sighed deeply.

"We should do this, shouldn't we, Diana?"

"You've been waiting for this day for a long time, haven't you?"

"Or rather, everyone like you and me, or even everyone in every parallel universe, must have been waiting for a long time."

"We unite and fight not only in the unknown aspects of the world, but also on the existing social foundations of this world."

"The world will disappoint you because you have forgotten the process of connecting with it."

"Perhaps you are all like this in billions of worlds."

"But in fact, if we consider both places as battlefields, then you who are protecting the people on the other battlefield should also be protected by the people on this battlefield."

"So for now, let me do this as a human being, until one day humans themselves want to do it and are able to do it."

"It is only natural that I have come to your side."

The soft glow of the campfire flickered and fell on Carrot's face, a sight heard by Natasha as she brought him drinks, and also captivating Diana's gaze.
He seemed to understand why Carrot had said those things during the day.

He was neither a hero nor a demon.

He is a human being, or rather, he is a fellow human being who is more human than they are.

Therefore, he can become a bridge connecting them and lead them to fly higher.

"But human beings are not always so wonderful."

Diana sighed inwardly.

"Therefore, we need people who are both light and human."

He downed the wine in his glass in one gulp, and Carrot El's words murmured and echoed in the night sky:
"It also needs an excellent ruler."

Suddenly, the two of them looked down at the same time.

As the bonfire slowly rose, rows of soldiers spontaneously lined up on the empty parade ground, smiling as they unfurled a banner.

The prominent "S" as the first letter is enlarged, and the outlined patterns and logos make it immediately recognizable as the design on El's chest.

"That is."

Under Diana's astonished gaze, Carrot El silently read out the word:

"Superman"

Suddenly, Carrot's gaze turned to the distance, where he saw Jorel's satisfied smile on the window of the Kryptonian spaceship standing on the snowy glacier.

Carrot smiled knowingly, took a new Margaret from Natasha who had walked over, and slowly raised his glass to the soldiers below, signifying his intention to drink.

Respect to the moon, respect to hope, respect to my father, respect to my origins, respect to Planet Vegeta, respect to my mother, and respect to Earth!
A toast to the beginning of the future!
Despite the storms sweeping across the world like a torrential downpour, in this chaotic world, every single day is a day when we face the crisis of destruction.
