Rekindling the Youthful Era
Chapter 808 Who will get their marriage certificate first?
Chapter 808 Who will get their marriage certificate first?
Ying Chanxi, who was tidying up Li Luo's clothes, did not notice Li Luo's strange behavior next to the desk and was still bickering with Yan Zhusheng while tidying up.
After reporting the situation to Xu Youyu, Li Luo looked at the two girls again with a slightly complicated expression.
Although he had many fantasies after his rebirth, he still felt incredibly lucky and happy to have actually reached this point.
"What are you looking at? Don't you know how to come and help?" Ying Chanxi turned her head and saw Li Luo staring blankly. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at him and immediately urged, "You have just as much stuff as you need."
"When did I get so many clothes?" Li Luo looked at the ever-increasing number of clothes and pants that had been gathered out, and couldn't help but gasp in surprise as she got closer.
Although he knew that the three girls would buy him new clothes from time to time, especially Ying Chanxi, who particularly liked to buy them.
However, he rarely organizes his wardrobe; it's usually Ying Chanxi who does it. So, he doesn't really have a concrete idea of how many clothes are in his wardrobe.
Only after he started packing did he realize how much the three girls had bought for him over the past three years.
"This," Yan Zhusheng said, taking out one of the beige sweaters and turning to Li Luo, "is the first time I bought you clothes when you were in the first year of high school."
"Oh, this one." Ying Chanxi glanced at it, then took out a dark blue down jacket and a pair of black cotton pants. "I also had these two back then, which I bought with my senior."
"This one, this one, and these few more, are things I bought when I went abroad during winter break."
"Hmm...and these outfits, I bought them when I was in my second year of high school."
Ying Chanxi remembered all these things with exceptional clarity, as if he possessed a built-in memory palace, with no detail missing.
As Li Luo listened to her folding and putting away the clothes while explaining the origin of each garment, he squatted down to listen quietly, a slight smile unconsciously curving his lips.
"Here." Ying Chanxi rummaged through the wardrobe and pulled out a red scarf and an orange scarf. Then, with a quick glance, she stuffed the latter into her suitcase, leaving the red one. "How about you wear this tomorrow?"
"Why not wear this one?" Yan Zhusheng snatched the orange scarf from the side and pouted as she questioned, "Sister, you're so mean! You even tried to secretly hide the scarf I knitted."
“What?” Ying Chanxi retorted. “I was just asking. Who remembers where this orange one came from?”
"Didn't you just have a good memory?" Yan Zhusheng squinted and teased.
"I only remember giving it to you, but I didn't give you this one."
"You're so mean, sister." Yan Zhusheng ignored her and shoved the orange scarf into Li Luo's hand. "You'll wear this tomorrow."
Li Luo looked at the two scarves in her hands, lost in thought for a moment, then slowly wrapped both scarves around her neck, looking at the two of them with a helpless expression: "Will this look okay?"
"Are you trying to die of heat?" Ying Chanxi said irritably, pulling both scarves off and putting them aside. "I was just kidding. You might as well not wear them at all. It's not that cold lately anyway."
Li Luo found it amusing, reached out and ruffled the two girls' hair, then stood up again: "Are the clothes almost packed?"
"Okay, everything's packed up." Ying Chanxi stood up, then her gaze fell on Li Luo's desk. "Shall I tidy up this place for you too? Are you still writing today?"
"What's wrong?" Li Luo asked.
"Should we bring the computer with us too?" Ying Chanxi asked, pointing to the computer on the desk.
Speaking of computers, this is the one that Ying Chanxi had at home.
Originally, it was used by Ying Zhicheng to work after returning home. Later, because Ying Zhicheng rarely came back, Ying Chanxi took it and gave it to Li Luo to use at Bihai Lanting.
Li Luo has spent more than three years typing out the text on this computer for works such as "I'm Really Not a Star," "A Little Reunion," and "The Great Qian Night Patrol."
Li Luo has quite a fondness for it.
However, Li Luo didn't plan to bring it with her when she moved to her new home.
“Sister Yu ordered four of the latest graphics cards to build four new desktop computers. The monitors, mice, and other equipment will also be the latest models,” Li Luo said simply. “Let’s leave this computer here.”
"Hmm..." Ying Chanxi touched the computer screen with some emotion, not objecting, but just sighing slightly, "Does this mean we won't be coming back here anymore?"
"I think so," Li Luo said, stroking his chin. "Tianlu Yaju is also very close to the school. If you drive there, it's not much different from Bihai Lanting."
"Then what should we do with this place?" Ying Chanxi asked again. "Should we rent it out like before?"
"It's not that bad," Li Luo chuckled and shook his head. "I wouldn't want to give that up, and we don't need that rental income right now, right?"
It was a place that held so many wonderful memories for the four of them during their three years of high school. Neither Li Luo nor the other three girls wanted anyone else to move in and ruin the beautiful memories it once held.
"Besides," Li Luo said, putting his arm around Ying Chanxi and then Yan Zhusheng. He then said shamelessly, "If we have children in the future, and they can study hard and get into the affiliated high school, we can let them move here to live."
"W-what child..." Upon hearing this, Ying Chanxi blushed and became shy, but secretly she was delighted and couldn't help but curl up the corners of her mouth, already imagining what Li Luo would say in her mind.
Yan Zhusheng looked up at Li Luo with anticipation, then grabbed his arm and asked, "Li Luo, do you want a child? I can have one for you. Shall we go to bed now?"
"What are you saying?!" Ying Chanxi immediately leaned forward and shouted to stop him, "Can't you think before you speak? This is too, too... too much!"
"Is my sister jealous?"
"Am I jealous? What you said is just too outrageous!"
"What's so outrageous about it?" Yan Zhusheng asked, tilting her head. "If you want to have a child, isn't this the kind of thing you have to do? Sister, you didn't study biology well, did you?"
Ying Chanxi's face darkened: "...How can these be the same thing?"
"Sister, you don't really want to wait until you get married to do 'that,' do you?" Yan Zhusheng asked curiously. "But there are three of us. If we really get married, won't Li Luo get arrested by the police?"
Li Luo: "...Can't you hope for something better?"
"I was just asking," Yan Zhusheng blinked innocently, "What does my sister think?"
"Didn't you say something before..." Ying Chanxi became a little hesitant when she brought up the topic, her voice becoming much softer. Her fingers unconsciously twirled around her hair as she lowered her head and whispered, "Well, well... getting married and then getting divorced or something..."
Upon hearing this, Yan Zhusheng perked up immediately and leaned closer to Ying Chanxi, asking curiously, "Sister, you also think this method is good, right? When I mentioned it last time, you thought it was unreliable."
"You talk too much." Ying Chanxi pouted and glared at her.
"But there's still one problem," Yan Zhusheng added, "Who will get their marriage certificate with Li Luo first, and who will get it last?"
“This…of course I’ll go first…um…” Ying Chanxi was speechless for a moment, subconsciously wanting to be the first.
But then she thought, if she were the first, wouldn't she be the first to divorce Li Luo?
If I choose to marry the last person, will I be able to avoid getting divorced in the end?
But if that happens, wouldn't I become Li Luo's third marriage partner?
It didn't feel very good... This made Ying Chanxi very conflicted.
"Alright, alright." Li Luo, who had been watching from the side, couldn't stand it anymore and quickly interrupted Yan Zhusheng's questioning. He coughed twice and said, "This is still a long way off. Let's pack our luggage first."
Ying Chanxi snapped out of her daze and immediately nodded in agreement, skipping Yan Zhusheng's follow-up questions to avoid further troubling herself.
But Yan Zhusheng felt she hadn't said enough, so while Li Luo was tidying up the clutter in his desk drawer, she quietly leaned close to Ying Chanxi's ear and asked, "Sister, you haven't slept with Li Luo yet, have you?"
"What's there to ask?" Ying Chanxi blushed slightly upon hearing this, giving her a disapproving glance. "Of course not, do you have one?"
“I don’t either.” Yan Zhusheng shook her head. “My mother didn’t agree before.”
"Huh?" Ying Chanxi was taken aback, not expecting this to be the case. "How could you possibly tell her something like this?"
"What does it have to do with anything?" Yan Zhusheng asked, tilting her head. "I asked her again a while ago, and this time Mom agreed."
Ying Chanxi: "...?!"
“But she made me wear this.” Yan Zhusheng took out a small plastic square from her pocket and waved it in front of Ying Chanxi.
Ying Chanxi took a closer look at the item and immediately recalled it, his expression somewhat speechless: "...Why do you still keep this? And you even carry it with you."
"It'll make it easier for Li Luo to sleep with me anytime," Yan Zhusheng said innocently. "Better safe than sorry."
"Don't be so explicit." Ying Chanxi felt her cheeks burning as soon as she heard those two words, and quickly waved her hands vigorously.
I have no idea how Yan Zhusheng could say it so naturally; she has absolutely no sense of shame!
"What about my sister?" Yan Zhusheng asked again. "Does she really have to wait until after the wedding?"
"Anyway, there's no rush..." Ying Chanxi muttered softly, "I...I'm not ready yet, and Dad also said..."
"Then I'll sleep with Li Luo first?" Yan Zhusheng blinked and said without hesitation.
“You…” Ying Chanxi became anxious upon hearing this.
In her mind, the way to deal with this kind of thing is relatively traditional, which is completely different from Yan Zhusheng's approach.
But she also felt it wasn't quite right for her to do something like that just to compete with someone who could get there first.
In the end, Ying Chanxi could only grunt and didn't respond. He secretly resolved to keep a close eye on Yan Zhusheng.
But then I thought, I'm so busy right now, how could I have time to keep an eye on things?
After much deliberation, Ying Chanxi finally sighed.
"Then, then promise me one thing." Ying Chanxi tugged at Yan Zhusheng's sleeve and whispered.
This was the first time Yan Zhusheng had ever been so humbly tugged at by her older sister. She was stunned for a moment, then asked, "What?"
"If you really, really..." Ying Chanxi pointed to Yan Zhusheng's pocket, leaned close to her ear and whispered, "If you really used this, could you tell me?"
Yan Zhusheng was taken aback by Ying Chanxi's words and was momentarily speechless.
"Actually, you can go first, sister, anyway..."
Yan Zhusheng had only spoken halfway when Ying Chanxi immediately shook his head and interrupted, saying, "It doesn't matter."
"Since we're already like this, all I want to do now is to make the most of our lives."
"Although my parents have implicitly agreed to my relationship with you, they still don't know about my senior."
"If possible, I would prefer to wait until my father truly approves of the relationship between the four of us before doing that kind of thing with Li Luo."
"I don't want to disappoint Dad..."
As Ying Chanxi spoke, her voice grew softer and softer, but when it reached Yan Zhusheng's ears, it made her momentarily lose the will to continue teasing her sister.
"What are you two talking about?" Li Luo asked curiously as she tidied her desk and turned her head to see two girls whispering to each other.
"It's nothing..." Ying Chanxi quickly jumped away from Yan Zhusheng, winked at her, and told her not to talk nonsense.
Yan Zhusheng glanced at Ying Chanxi and, as expected, he wasn't lying. He simply said, "My sister told me to let her know after I sleep with you."
"Oh dear! Zhusheng!" Upon hearing this, Ying Chanxi's cheeks flushed red, and she angrily pounced on Yan Zhusheng, covering her mouth.
Li Luo was completely confused, but then he came to his senses and thought that Ying Chanxi had come to terms with things after learning about what had happened between him and Xu Youyu, which was why she said that to Yan Zhusheng.
So he chuckled and stepped forward to pull the two women apart, carrying Ying Chanxi back to the desk: "Alright, alright, help me tidy up the desk, look what this is?"
As she spoke, Li Luo took a photo frame from the drawer and handed it to Ying Chanxi.
Ying Chanxi looked closely and realized it was a clay photo frame she had made herself, containing a photo of their first kiss that she had specially selected.
Yan Zhusheng, who was standing nearby, peeked over and, after seeing the photo, immediately asked curiously, "When was this taken?"
"You're not allowed to look." Ying Chanxi noticed Yan Zhusheng and immediately covered the photo, saying.
"Sister, you're so stingy. It won't hurt to just look at it," Yan Zhusheng said. "I remember this photo frame was a birthday gift you gave him. Why don't you usually keep it on your desk?"
"Xixi was too embarrassed to let you see it before," Li Luo said with a laugh, "so I kept it away."
"Hmph~" Ying Chanxi hugged the photo frame to her chest. "I'll take this with me too. I'll put it in my collection room later."
"Then your uncles and aunts saw it when they visited, didn't they?" Yan Zhusheng kindly reminded them.
“This…” Ying Chanxi blushed, thinking that it seemed to be true. “Then, then I’ll put it in after they leave tomorrow. Uncle and Aunt won’t be idle and go into the collection room every day.”
“I want to take pictures too,” Yan Zhusheng said, pulling on Li Luo’s arm. “Li Luo, I want a kiss, so my sister can take a picture of us.”
Ying Chanxi: "...Don't go too far."
