American comics: Play as Kizaru and get off work in three seconds
Chapter 550 How could it have turned out like this!
"It must work!"
Qin Yang gritted his teeth, stood up, and said, "Diana, you go and attract his attention, I'll find an opportunity to get closer."
Remember, don't let him touch kryptonite, or we'll be in big trouble!
"Hmph, I'm not that fragile."
Diana snorted coldly, gripping her short sword tightly. "Get ready, Qin!"
Before she finished speaking, she leaped out of the ruins and charged straight at Joel.
The monster roared as it charged forward, its bone-spiked arms transforming into countless afterimages as it launched a relentless attack.
Diana's sword flashed like a rainbow as she nimbly weaved through the gaps in the attacks, occasionally landing a successful blow that forced Joel to roar in fury.
"Hey, bald guy! Look here!"
Diana shouted, deliberately provoking Joel, and slashed him in the chest with her sword, leaving a shallow gash.
"Roar!"
A flash of white light appeared in Joel's eyes, and he lunged at her, crashing into the ground and cracking it.
Diana dodged, leading Joel to rampage through the ruins, with steel bars and concrete flying everywhere.
"It's now!"
Qin Yang roared and, enduring the excruciating pain, rushed out of the cover, the three kryptonite stones in his hands tightly bound together.
He circled around to Joel's flank, and while the monster's attention was entirely on Diana, he leaped up and stuffed the kryptonite pouch into Joel's severed arm wound.
"Diana! Back off!"
Qin Yang shouted, flipped himself onto the ground, and his energy surged within him, preparing to detonate the kryptonite.
Upon hearing this, Diana immediately retreated, but Joel suddenly turned around and thrust his bone-spiked arm straight at Qin Yang's chest.
Qin Yang reacted quickly and turned to the side, the bone spur grazing his ribs and drawing blood.
He gritted his teeth and growled, pressing his palm onto the kryptonite and injecting energy.
"go to hell!"
Qin Yang shouted, and the green light surged instantly. With a deafening explosion, Joel was blasted dozens of meters away, crashing into a pile of ruins.
The shockwave swept in, throwing Qin Yang and Diana to the ground.
"Cough cough... It worked?"
Qin Yang lay on the ground, panting heavily. The wound on his abdomen had torn open even more, and blood stained the ground red.
Diana got up, wiped the dust off her face, and stared at the ruins. "Not sure... he hasn't made a move yet."
The two held their breath, staring at the smoke and dust in the ruins.
A few seconds later, a deep roar came, and Joel slowly stood up. His body was charred black, but his severed arm was still regenerating, and his eyes were even more ferocious.
"Damn it! They're still alive?"
Qin Yang cursed under his breath, struggling to his feet. "Diana, even exploding the kryptonite didn't help. This guy is tougher than I thought!"
"We have to fight, even if it's tough!"
Diana gripped her short sword tightly and stood in front of Qin Yang, saying, "You're too badly injured, Qin Yang. Step back, I'll handle this!"
"Retreat? Are you kidding me!"
Qin Yang gritted his teeth and pulled out his last kryptonite arrow. "Princess, this thing is ours. I don't intend to give it to anyone else!"
"You two... are really tenacious."
Joel's voice came from the ruins, low and hoarse, with a hint of mockery, "But you can't change anything."
Doomsday...unstoppable.
"Unstoppable?"
Qin Yang sneered, gripping the Kryptonite Arrow tightly. "I'm going to give it a try! Diana, the left side is yours!"
"The right side is mine!"
Diana gave a low shout and moved with lightning speed towards Joel.
Her short sword flashed repeatedly, forcing the monster to retreat. The sword light collided with the bone spikes, sparks flying everywhere.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Qin Yang circled around to Joel's back and plunged the kryptonite arrow deep into the monster's nape.
A burst of green light erupted, and Joel let out a painful roar, his movements noticeably slowing down.
Qin Yang seized the opportunity and kicked the monster in the knee, forcing him to kneel on the ground.
"Diana, now!"
Qin Yang shouted, gripping the kryptonite arrow with both hands and pressing it down with all his might.
Diana leaped forward, her short sword piercing Joel's chest. The blade sank halfway in, and green blood gushed out.
Joel struggled to fight back, but the weakening effect of Kryptonite made him move slower and slower until he finally collapsed to the ground, the white light in his eyes gradually fading.
"died?"
Panting, Diana drew her short sword and stared warily at the monster on the ground.
"Maybe."
Qin Yang slumped down, wiping the sweat from his forehead. The excruciating pain in his abdomen made his vision go black for a moment. "If this guy gets up again, I'm really out of options."
Don't jinx it.
Diana glared at him, then crouched down to examine Joel's body. "He's not moving. The kryptonite seems to be really working."
"Huh...that's good."
Qin Yang leaned against the broken wall and grinned, "Princess, well done."
Our teamwork is simply unbeatable.
"Stop talking so much."
Diana helped him up, her voice tinged with worry, "Your injury needs to be treated quickly, or I won't carry you back to town."
"Carry me? Haha, Princess, if you carry me, I'll have to record it!"
Qin Yang smiled, but the movement aggravated his wound, causing him to gasp in pain. "Hiss... Okay, let's go back first."
"There's still plenty of kryptonite in town; we need to prepare some more weapons. This guy might have accomplices."
"Accomplice?"
Diana frowned. "You mean, Zod?"
"possible."
Qin Yang's gaze turned serious. "Joel is an experimental subject; there must be someone controlling him behind the scenes."
"Zod, or some other force...we need to find out."
"You have to survive before you can investigate."
Diana supported him as they walked towards the edge of the wilderness. "Let's go, Qin Yang, where's your 'fastest mode of transportation'?"
"Cough... This time it might be a bit slower."
Qin Yang smiled wryly, grasped her hand, and slowly channeled his energy. "Hold on tight, Princess, we'll be in town in the next second."
The air distorted, and the two figures disappeared into the night.
The city lights still shone in the distance, but the silence of the ruins foreshadowed an even greater storm to come.
In the basement of the small town, dim yellow light shone on the workbench, and the faint glow of the stone reflected Qin Yang's pale face.
He lay on a makeshift medical bed, and Diana was treating his wounds with the town's first-aid supplies.
The pungent smell of alcohol filled the air, and tools and instruments were scattered around.
"Don't move, Qin Yang!"
Diana frowned, pressing the gauze in her hand firmly against the wound on Qin Yang's abdomen. "If you move around again, I can't guarantee the stitches will be neat."
"Ouch... Be gentle, Princess!"
Qin Yang grinned, forcing a smile, "Your needlework skills are a bit lacking compared to the combat training of the Amazons, aren't they?"
"Shut up."
Diana scoffed, her fingers deftly stitching up the wound. "If you had been honest, you would have finished stitching it up long ago."
"Tell me, what else do you know about Joel?"
Qin Yang leaned against the headboard, his gaze sweeping over the Kryptonite weapon on the workbench. His tone was low and deep. "The system has given me a hint that Joel is the prototype of Doomsday, possibly a product of Kryptonian biochemical experiments."
Someone is pulling the strings behind the scenes; it could be Zod, or it could be another force.
Those missiles were probably deliberately withheld to make Joel stronger.
"deliberately?"
Diana stopped what she was doing, frowned, and said, "You mean, someone in the US military is colluding with Zod?" "Not sure."
Qin Yang shook his head. "But Colonel Ryan's orders were too stupid, indiscriminate bombing, not even caring about civilians."
This isn't something a normal soldier would do.
"If it's an inside man..."
A cold glint flashed in Diana's eyes. "We have to find out."
"Qin Yang, what do we do next?"
"Focus on healing your injuries first."
Qin Yang smiled wryly and pointed to his abdomen. "Then I'll go back to Metropolis and find Barry."
Is he awake?
"not yet."
Diana sighed and continued stitching. "Felicity sent a message last night saying that Barry's condition is stable, but he hasn't woken up."
We need to go back and check.
"Row."
Qin Yang nodded, a determined glint in his eyes. "Barry is the key. If he wakes up, we'll have a better chance of defeating Zod."
"hope so."
After Diana finished stitching up the last stitch, she patted his shoulder and said, "Okay, lie down and don't move."
I'll contact Oliver and ask if Green Arrow has any new leads.
“Princess, this gentle side of you is truly rare.”
Qin Yang smiled, but a hint of weariness flashed in his eyes. "Could you get me a glass of water?"
"help yourself."
Diana rolled her eyes at him, then turned and walked toward the communication equipment in the basement. "Get some rest, Qin Yang. Earth is still waiting for us to save it."
Qin Yang leaned against the headboard, his gaze fixed on the kryptonite weapon, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Saving the Earth... what a huge problem."
In the ruins of 12th Street, dust and metal fragments floated in the air, and the aftershocks of the explosion made the ground tremble slightly.
Qin Yang knelt beside a pile of twisted steel bars. A gruesome gash had been torn open in the abdomen of his nano-armor, and blood mixed with black liquid dripped onto the ground.
He pressed his hand against the wound, and sunlight streamed through the broken clouds, activating the enhanced genes within him. The wound healed at a visible speed, but it still couldn't keep up with the Destroyer Joel's frenzied onslaught.
Joel stood in the middle of the street, his body swollen to nearly ten meters tall, his dark brown skin covered with sharp bone spurs, like a giant beast crawling out of hell.
It growled, its empty eyes locked onto Qin Yang, and a sinister grin spread across its lips.
"Damn, was this guy raised on hormones?"
Qin Yang was breathing heavily when he heard a rapid static sound coming from his earpiece.
"Qin Yang, hang in there!"
Diana's voice came from not far away, tinged with anxiety.
She wielded the Sword of Vulcan, her silver armor was covered in scratches, and the edge of her shield was slightly deformed from Joel's punches.
She leaped up and slashed at Joel's leg with her sword. The blade cut through his skin, oozing a stream of black liquid, but the wound quickly began to heal, and new bone spurs emerged from it.
"Diana, save your energy!"
Qin Yang shouted, forcing himself to stand up. The armor's thrusters emitted a deep roar, "This guy's healing speed is faster than my coffee machine!"
"You're still in the mood for jokes?"
Diana landed, her shield blocking Joel's massive punch, the impact sending her sliding back several meters. "We have to find its weakness, or we'll be worn down!"
"weakness?"
Qin Yang gave a wry smile, his gaze sweeping over Joel's massive body. "I don't even know if it has a heart! I should have brought some kryptonite with me!"
Joel let out a deafening roar and charged at Qin Yang, the ground cracking open beneath his feet.
Qin Yang suddenly dodged to the side, but Joel's arm lashed out like a whip, the bone spikes grazing his armor and sending sparks flying.
Qin Yang was thrown into the air by the impact and crashed hard into an overturned truck, the armored vehicle's alarm blaring loudly.
"Qin Yang!"
Diana yelled and rushed toward Joel, trying to get his attention.
Her sword flashed in an arc, slashing toward Joel's chest, but bone spurs instantly grew, jamming the blade.
Joel threw a backhand punch, which Diana met with her shield. The shield clanged with a piercing metallic sound, and the impact sent her knees sinking into the ground.
"Diana, step back!"
Qin Yang struggled to his feet, blood still seeping from the wound on his abdomen. "You can't control it!"
"Don't underestimate me, Qin Yang!"
Diana gritted her teeth, a stubborn glint in her eyes, "I am a warrior of the Amazons, and I will not back down easily!"
Just as Joel raised his fist to attack again, a red and blue figure descended from the sky, moving so fast that it almost created a sonic boom.
Superman Clark Kent landed steadily in front of Joel, his red cape fluttering in the wind.
He met Joel's massive fist with a punch, and the two forces collided, creating an invisible shockwave that sent surrounding rocks flying dozens of meters away.
"Clark!"
Qin Yang's eyes lit up, and his tone was filled with surprise, "You came just in time!"
"Qin Yang, Diana, are you alright?"
Clark's voice was calm and powerful. He stepped aside to block Joel, his gaze fixed on the monster. "What is this thing?"
"Long story short!"
Qin Yang, panting heavily, quickly approached Clark. "Its name is Joel Ral, a Kryptonian, Lex Luthor's experiment, which mutated into this grotesque form."
"Incredibly strong, heals incredibly fast, and gets stronger the more it's fought!"
"Kryptonians?"
Clark frowned, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. "How did it become like this?"
"Don't ask yet!"
Diana shouted, leaping to Clark's side, "It's here again!"
Joel roared as he charged toward the three, the ground trembling beneath his feet.
Clark stepped forward, grabbed Joel's outstretched arm with both hands, his muscles tense, and pushed him back several meters.
Joel's bone spur pierced Clark's arm, drawing a trickle of blood, but Clark remained unfazed, violently shoving Joel into the nearby ruins.
"Good job!"
Qin Yang shouted, and the armor's thrusters activated, charging towards Joel.
He punched Joel in the face, his fist striking the bone spur with a crisp cracking sound.
Joel's face was dented from the impact, but the wound healed quickly, and new bone spurs emerged from his cheek.
"Qin Yang, watch out!"
Clark shouted, leaping forward and punching Joel in the chest.
The fist pierced through the bone spur, creating a huge wound from which black liquid gushed out.
Joel roared and retaliated, but Clark easily dodged, moving so fast that he was almost invisible.
"Diana, cooperate with me!"
Clark shouted, glancing at Wonder Woman.
"understand!"
Diana nodded, and the Sword of Vulcan drew a dazzling arc, slashing towards Joel's leg.
The blade sliced into his skin, severing several bone splinters, and Joel's movements froze slightly.
Clark seized the opportunity to fly behind Joel, locked his hands around its neck, and suddenly pulled it upwards, lifting it into the air.
"Qin Yang, now!"
Clark shouted.
"Roger that!"
Qin Yang leaped up suddenly, his armored fist, wrapped in scorching plasma energy, slamming hard into Joel's chest.
The fist penetrated deep into the wound, causing Joel's body to shudder violently.
Clark released his grip, and Joel crashed to the ground, creating a huge crater. (End of Chapter)
