Do you really think that you can become a Buddha just by tearing up a few scriptures and breaking a few wooden fish? That's too simplistic.

For those who are better off, one can gain merit in this lifetime through practice and be reincarnated. After several lifetimes of accumulation, one can achieve Buddhist fruition and transcendence, which means one has barely taken a step forward.

The best thing is to convert those who have roots and talents to Buddhism. For example, during the Conferred Gods period, the two saints from the West poached people and moved half of the house away. Later, Fighting Buddha was also an example.

To put it simply, the so-called genius of Buddhism is either the reincarnation of a big boss or a great monk with accumulated experience for several lifetimes. Therefore, Fahai also has a background. As for what it is, Yan Xu doesn't know it yet.

Arriving at the Sutra Repository, Fahai skillfully picked up paper and pen and began to copy Buddhist scriptures with a bitter face.

He had great comprehension but lacked patience. He was not interested in copying Buddhist scriptures which he could learn at a glance. However, he could not beat his senior brother, so he had no choice but to copy them. Moreover, he could not fool him because his senior brother would really beat him.

Yan Xu ignored him and picked up a Buddhist scripture and started thinking about it.

The scriptures of any religious sect will try to be as exaggerated as possible, otherwise how could there be so many creator gods on such a small planet?

Buddhism is no exception. If you really believe in it, you will be stupid. You must squeeze out all the moisture before you can see a few true words. Therefore, you need to read it repeatedly and ponder it repeatedly to know its true meaning.

In the eyes of Zen Master Lingyou, although Liansheng was born with special visions, his talent and potential were not as good as Fahai, who was born an arhat. However, he could not bear the worry and had to teach his fellow apprentices. How could he not be satisfied? Therefore, he decided to pass on the true Dharma to him in advance.

Yan Xu had been looking forward to this day for a long time, but when it finally came, he was not as excited as he had imagined. This attitude was immediately recognized by Zen Master Lingyou.

In Buddhist practice, talent and physique are important, but character is equally important. In the opinion of Zen Master Lingyou, if Liansheng is willing to reincarnate and practice again, he will have a great chance of attaining the status of Arhat after only a few lifetimes of accumulation, which is much better than simply forming a Vajra relic and ascending to heaven.

This is both an expectation and a gap, because in the mind of Zen Master Lingyou, Yan Xu still needs several lifetimes of accumulation before he has a greater chance of achieving the status of Arhat, while Fahai is a natural born Arhat, and he only needs to follow the steps to achieve the status of Arhat in this lifetime.

However, since they were all disciples, Zen Master Lingyou was impartial and took out several true methods for the two to choose from.

Because of the fate in his previous life, Fahai fell in love with the Great Heavenly Dragon Mantra at first sight, because it was truly awe-inspiring. As for his main practice, it was Heavenly Dragon Zen.

Yan Xu chose the Formless Protective Divine Light and Vajra Zen.

There is a formless divine light that protects the body, which can be regarded as the Buddhist version of the Golden Light Mantra.

However, Vajra Zen and Vajra are two different things. It does not mean that this method can only be practiced to the Vajra realm. In fact, it is an unparalleled method and can be called the practice version of Dragon Elephant Prajna.

Theoretically, with unlimited blessings, this practice can directly reach the Bodhisattva realm, which corresponds to the Golden Immortal in Taoism.

The problem is that while it is feasible in theory, in reality, after the Vajra relic is formed, most people will switch to cultivation.

Because this thing is too exhausting, even Buddhist monks who have practiced for several lifetimes can't afford it.
