After all, this is my first book, and I care too much about readers’ reviews. Sometimes when I see negative reviews or direct criticism, I feel uncomfortable, but I also know that this is due to my lack of writing skills and flaws in the plot.

Some readers said they couldn't get through the beginning. Actually, I had a slow pace when I wrote the beginning (no autumn taxes, family matters, and then sending the protagonist off to cultivate immortality).

But then I thought about how I had written several books on Qidian that had mediocre beginnings but none of them had passed the signing
Later, I asked people online and they all said that for most failed authors, the three golden chapters are more for editors to read.

The background and cheat codes must be explained well within three chapters, and there must be a short plot. It is best if the emotions in this plot are full or the conflict is very explosive.

If you are not an old author, a demon from outside the domain, or an old guy who uses a pseudonym to become a newbie, then don't start with a plain start like others, and tell the story in a leisurely manner.

This way you can basically get the signature as long as you have the hand.

So I thought of an opening with "Autumn Tax" to try to raise the mood as much as possible.

As a result, I had published 2 or 3 words but had not signed a contract yet, and I had stopped updating in the middle. Finally, when I thought another book was rejected, I was picked up by Qinghu.

I am a clumsy writer, and it is not easy to write 4000 words a day. I originally had some drafts saved, but there were some places where readers gave strong feedback, so I changed the plot and published it earlier, which caused the drafts to shrink significantly. I feel a sense of urgency when publishing two chapters every day, and I want to write as much as possible to save for the drafts, but after deleting and revising, it is not easy to achieve the goal of 4 words a day.

I haven't asked for collections, follow-up readings, or votes for the book in the month since I published it. I think people will continue to read it and vote if they like it. Would it be helpful if I, a failed author, asked for it? I don't have any previous works to back it up.

Besides, it is human nature not to like leaving. I just hope that everyone will be lenient with their words. If you think it is not to your taste or the plot is not good, I think it is okay to scold it once or twice, but there is really no need to scold it all the way.

And I don’t know why I got scolded for some inexplicable things. For example, everyone thought my Taoist name was not good, so I posted a comment to collect what everyone thought were good Taoist names, and I also changed my own name. But I was still called an “idiot” for this.
