It’s a strange invasion, is it okay for me to fight back?

Chapter 603 A Warrior
The singing calmed the patients down.
In the past, the wards were filled with the agonizing cries of pain, but today they were unusually quiet. When Ling Feiran made her rounds, she noticed that many patients had expressions of happiness and peace on their faces.
"The musician's card abilities are truly amazing," she remarked to her colleagues.
"Yes, it's almost as effective as a painkiller, but unfortunately Amir isn't in good health and can't play music every day," his colleague said.
“After all, using card abilities takes a lot of strain on the body,” Ling Feiran smiled.
With the patient's emotions stabilized, the nurses also felt much more relaxed. Although the work was still tiring, at least they were no longer in a rush.
Perhaps it was because the overall atmosphere was too peaceful that when Ling Feiran pushed a cart of medical waste downstairs, she keenly sensed a strange malice.
She couldn't help but press the elevator button and walk in the direction she sensed malice. Turning into the corridor, she saw a man in a hospital gown walking heavily towards the end of the corridor, seemingly carrying anger.
Ling Feiran was stunned for a moment, then hurriedly pushed her cart and chased after him. She was almost 100% certain that the malice she sensed was emanating from this person.
She desperately wanted to know what the other person was angry about and what they hated. Even if she couldn't ask them directly, she at least wanted to know their name.
Just as I was about to call out to the other person, the patient suddenly turned at the end of the corridor—that direction led to the stairwell.
"Wait...excuse me, those in front, please wait a moment!"
Ling Feiran quickened her pace to catch up, pushing the trolley and turning a corner in a hurry, when she unexpectedly bumped into a patient! With a bang, the syringes, instruments, and various medicine bottles on the trolley crashed to the ground with a clatter!
Ling Feiran's expression changed drastically. She hurriedly helped the patient who had fallen to the ground up, apologizing repeatedly, "I'm so sorry! Are you alright?"
After helping the patient up, she realized it was Amir.
Amir's hospital gown was completely unwearable; it was soaked with medicine.
"Isn't there a special channel for medical waste?" Amir shook the medicine off his clothes and looked at Ling Feiran with a helpless expression.
Ling Feiran awkwardly squatted down to clean up the mess. "Well, I used the private entrance, but then I remembered I needed to find a nurse on this floor, so I took a detour to check..."
She made up a reason on the spot, glancing behind Amir.
There was no one in the hallway, so I don't know if the patient went upstairs or downstairs.
“Amir, do you know that patient from earlier?” Ling Feiran looked up and asked. “He seemed to be in a hurry, and I don’t know where he went.”
She was certain that the person she was pursuing was not Amir, because their body types were completely different, and Amir had long, soft, slightly wavy hair that made him very recognizable.
Amir slowly shook his head. "I didn't see it clearly, but there are cameras everywhere here. You can check the surveillance footage."
Ling Feiran smiled awkwardly, "I was just asking casually."
—Investigating someone without any evidence is very offensive. Even if she were to check the surveillance footage, she would do it discreetly, without letting the patient know. Ling Feiran quickly cleaned up the broken glass on the floor, stood up, and said to Amir, "I'll go get you a clean hospital gown. Wait for me."
“I have a change of clothes in my room, it’s alright,” Amir said gently. “Do you need me to find someone to help you pack?”
"No need, no need, I'll clean this up right away," Ling Feiran hurriedly waved her hand.
Each nurse on each floor has her own job, and she doesn't want to add to the burden of others.
Then she noticed that the flute in Amir's hand was also wet with the medicine, and she felt even more guilty.
Hospital gowns can be washed and changed, but how do you clean a wooden flute soaked in medicine? If you want to play it in the future, you might smell the pungent medicine as soon as you get close.
Ling Feiran pursed her lips tightly, her muscles stiffened, and her speech seemed to be affected.
“I…I’ll wait a bit, no, I’ll do it tomorrow…” she said breathlessly, “I meant to say that I’ll buy you a new flute tomorrow to make up for it. I’m so sorry.”
Amir noticed Ling Feiran's unusual behavior and asked with concern, "Are you feeling unwell?"
"It's nothing..." Ling Feiran took a deep breath, "It's just a minor problem, I'll be fine after I adjust myself."
She forced a smile at Amir, then gripped the stroller handle tightly, turned, and hurried away.
After Ling Feiran left, a person in a hospital gown slowly crawled in through the window in the middle of the corridor—although it had a human body, its face resembled that of a lizard.
The lizard man said to Amir, "Amir, I heard from Navin that you're leaving. How can you leave? Don't you plan to stay and help us rebuild our home?!"
Amir gazed in the direction Ling Feiran had left, and replied with a faint smile, "Home? I envy you all. I'm just a homeless wanderer."
The lizardman said angrily, "I heard they're going to build an iron wall by the sea. I saw the foundations. Many infected people have been driven to the other side of the wall. It will be harder and harder for everyone to survive in the future! Amir, we have to find a way to help everyone!"
“You should try to help yourself first, Pashan.” Amir turned his gaze to the lizard man. “You’ve been targeted by that nurse. If I hadn’t stopped you, she would have caught up with you by now.”
The lizardman's expression suddenly turned fierce. "I didn't do anything! Why would she target me? These volunteers don't treat us like patients; they treat us like criminals! What's so great about them? They're just superior because they got the cards, and they look down on us!"
"Try to control your temper. Maybe it's your bad temper that caught her attention," Amir sighed.
"Shall we join forces to take her down?" The lizardman stuck out his long tongue and greedily licked his lips. "Just like last time when we killed that pregnant woman, not only will we shut her up, but we can also get her cards."
"Sigh, I just can't do anything with you." Amir smiled slightly. "If the people here find out that the person who killed the nurse was infected, they might kill us all in a fit of rage. We'll all die then, aren't you afraid?"
"Do you think we'll all stay alive if I do nothing?" the lizardman scoffed. "What kind of salvation is it to leave us here to die? I'm not going to sit idly by. I'm going to get the cards for my mother, my brother, and my sister. My mother doesn't understand anything, all she knows is gratitude, but will gratitude save anyone's life?! How stupid! How stupid!!!"
Amir looked at him intently and said, "Pashan, you are like a warrior. You will save everyone."
