Chapters 130, 153, and 154: You are a born tyrant, the master of fear.
"Mr. Victor, the appointment of the White Emperor was a sudden decision made by the Black Emperor and Black Queen today. In fact, I had never met the White Emperor before today. So..."

On the way to the side hall, the White Queen whispered an explanation to Li Xingzhou:
"I hope you can understand. Personally, I hope you can become the White Emperor."

You can't believe everything she says, but there's definitely a bit of sincerity in it.

“It’s alright, Miss Emma Frost.”

Li Xingzhou said calmly and leisurely:

"The new White Emperor is very charismatic and a qualified leader. I am too young and need more time to grow, so I never really aspired to the highest rank in the club. I was just a little dissatisfied that the Black Emperor didn't show up last night and that the rank of 'White Knight' was not my responsibility."

He paused, then said, seemingly sincerely:

"However, the fact that the White Emperor personally met with me today has already made up for the regret of the Black Emperor's absence last night. As long as the White Emperor can promise a rank higher than 'White Knight,' I would be happy to join the Hellfire Club."

For him, nominal rank and such were all meaningless.

As long as he is powerful enough and controls enough Hellfire core members, who can object to him even if he proclaims himself "Supreme King"?
Of course, he hasn't figured out the details of Wesker, the Black King, and the Black Queen yet, so it's not time to overturn the table. Therefore, it's acceptable to play along a little.

Anyway, he excels at communication and interpersonal relationships. As long as he sincerely tries to win people's hearts, the core members of Hellfire will eventually follow his lead.

Today, the three Cuckoo sisters have already been genuinely moved by him and declared in front of him that they would never submit to the White Emperor. Miss Polaris also has a deep affection for him. With such a good start, it is already self-evident which family this Hellfire will belong to in the future.

Seeing that he was so understanding, the White Queen breathed a sigh of relief, revealed a sweet smile, and said:

"Don't worry, Mr. Victor, the White Emperor knows me inside and out. This time you should be able to get a 'White Chariot' rank."

The white rook, also known as the white chariot, is a rank below the black and white kings and queens.

With both kings already having masters, this rank is already the highest rank in the Hellfire Core Circle.

"A white car?"

Li Xingzhou's lips curled up, seemingly pleased:

"It seems that the White Emperor values me highly."

"Of course. Although Bai Huang only appeared in the inner circle today, he has already demonstrated the vision and judgment that an excellent leader should have. He will certainly give enough respect to someone as outstanding as you."

The White Queen smiled and then asked, seemingly casually:

"By the way, you seemed to be having a great chat with Polaris and the Cuckoo sisters just now?"

Li Xingzhou nodded with a smile:
"Yes. They are all very lovely girls. I like them very much."

I really like...them?
The White Queen blinked, thinking to herself, "Could this playboy be trying to have it all?"

However, while the cuckoo sisters may be interested in you, the North Star is not so easy to conquer.

The girl inherited Magneto's genes; she was rebellious, arrogant, sensitive, and suspicious by nature. The White Queen felt that Leonardo DiCaprio was likely to run into trouble with Polaris.

However, she didn't warn Li Xingzhou. With a mindset of waiting to see him make a fool of himself, she led him to the door of the side hall, pushed open the door, and gestured for him to enter.

"The White Emperor wants to see you alone, so I won't go in with you."

Li Xingzhou nodded slightly and walked into the side hall alone.

As soon as you enter, you see the White Emperor Wesker sitting imposingly on a single sofa. He manages to make an ordinary sofa look like a throne.

Wesker only slowly stood up and extended his right hand to Li Xingzhou when Li Xingzhou walked up to him:
"Welcome, young ruler, Mr. Leonardo Victor. I greatly admire your art of ruling."

Li Xingzhou raised his hand and gently shook his, subtly revealing a hint of doubt:
"The ruler? The art of ruling?"

“Yes.” Wesker sat back on the single sofa, then gestured for Li Xingzhou to sit on the sofa diagonally opposite him. He said in a deep and authoritative voice, “I know a little about your methods of ruling Rex Prison. In my opinion, you are a very good ruler. The way you rule those slaves is very much to my liking.”

Li Xingzhou smiled, but his eyes darkened.

Rex Prison Island is isolated from the world and heavily guarded. Even a powerful superhuman like Jessica Jones who went in to gather information was defeated in the prison and turned into a combat puppet. Outsiders would never know how he manages the prisoners. Of course, after Li Xingzhou took over the prison, there were also prisoners who had been released after serving their sentences.

However, those prisoners received special care, and some of their memories were completely erased by the Blood Sea Array. Even if a master of the mind personally intervened, they could not retrieve the memories that had been completely erased and refined by the Blood Sea Array.

Besides, what spiritual master would be so bored as to pay attention to some released criminals?

So, from what sources did Wesker learn about the situation inside Rex Prison?

Li Xingzhou did not suspect that his subordinates had leaked information.

He certainly wouldn't unconditionally trust the loyalty of his subordinates.

Human nature is complex and fickle, and loyalty cannot withstand the test. Even the most loyal henchman, without any intention to leak information, will find it difficult to keep a secret under the mind-reading ability of a psychic.

Therefore, Li Xingzhou only trusts his own methods.

Every subordinate working in the prison, whether a regular guard or a member of the management, was implanted with the "Heart Demon Gu".

This kind of demonic curse, composed entirely of inner demons and thoughts, usually lies dormant in the mind, like an ordinary daily memory, a random thought without any distinguishing features, and will not have any effect on a person.

However, if anyone attempts to leak information, or if a person with psychic abilities tries to read minds, the Mind Demon Gu will immediately activate.

Those who intentionally leak information will have their souls instantly devoured and their brains exploded by the inner demon curse.

If someone is passively invaded and has their mind read by a psychic, the Mind Demon Gu will immediately erode the psychic and warn Li Xingzhou through resonance of their primordial spirit.

Afterwards, Li Xingzhou could choose to either use the resonance of his primordial spirit to remotely support the reverse erosion of the Heart Demon Gu, or he could choose to blow up his subordinate's head and end it all.

The Path of Inner Demons is mysterious and secretive, and it is a cultivation system originating from another world. It is unlikely that any psychic in this world would be able to deal with it.

Since his underlings wouldn't leak information, and even if the prisoner wanted to leak information, he wouldn't remember it, then Wesker's intelligence channels are worth pondering.

In a flash, a multitude of thoughts raced through Li Xingzhou's mind, but his expression remained impassive. He simply smiled at Wesker and said:

"I am deeply honored by the White Emperor's recognition."

Wesker's expression was cold, his gaze authoritative, and his tone steady:
"This is a dog-eat-dog world where the strong control everything and rule over all people, while the weak are only fit to offer their flesh and blood. Judging from your actions, you must also believe in this ideology."

Li Xingzhou nodded:
"Of course. America is a sweet land of freedom and democracy. We all know that on this land, the strong enjoy the freedom to do whatever they want and are the rulers of all people. Of course, even if the people are not strong enough, they still enjoy a series of freedoms such as voting, being stupid, taking drugs, indulging in pleasure, and shooting. Even homeless people who have nothing have the freedom to sleep on the streets and die on the street. That's why I love this land so much. No one loves America more than me."

“Your patriotism is truly admirable. I know your company is called MASA, which means ‘Make America Strong Again,’” Wesker said calmly. “Your understanding of freedom and democracy is also very profound. So, do you have any religious beliefs?”

"Faith?"

Li Xingzhou made the sign of the cross on his chest with a devout expression.

"Yes, I have faith; I have faith in the great Christ."

“Is that so?” Wesker’s lips curled into a meaningful smile. “But I’ve heard that you have a good relationship with a certain lord of hell, and going to hell is like going home for you.”

Li Xingzhou said with a smile:
“This does not conflict with my faith. The great Christ will bear all my sins.”

Wesker lowered his eyelids and said calmly:
"Christ is great, but there are other faiths that may be more suitable for you than Christ."

"Oh?" Li Xingzhou raised an eyebrow and asked with interest, "Mr. Wesker wants to introduce me to a new faith?"

"Yes."

Wesker said:
"You are an excellent ruler. Your actions and ideals have already gained the attention and appreciation of a supreme being. In ancient times, that being could have promised you a kingdom. Although modern society is more complex and different from ancient times, as long as you offer your faith, that supreme being can still grant you a higher status and greater power."

He stared intently at Li Xingzhou and said calmly:
"All you have to do is build a small temple in Rex Prison, enshrine His holy emblem, chant His holy name, and spread His faith within your sphere of influence. As long as you are devout enough, and as long as you develop enough followers, you will receive all the rewards you can imagine, and even more unimaginable rewards. Including... eternal life!"

A perfectly measured look of surprise and longing flashed in Li Xingzhou's eyes.

But he quickly suppressed his emotions and said calmly:

“Mr. Wesker, everything you’ve described sounds wonderful, but…”

He spread his hands and said:
"I'm a realist. I believe in Christ because He can bear my sins, allowing me to be a villain without any guilt. Anyway, I'll definitely repent before I die, and even if I'm required to buy a lot of indulgences, I have enough money..."

"But if Christ cannot absolve me of my sins, then I would rather believe in the Lord of Hell. At least the Lord of Hell is visible and tangible, and she can even reserve a more comfortable cell for me in Hell..."

He looked at Wesker, who remained calm and composed, maintaining a dignified and aloof demeanor, and smiled:

"The supreme being you speak of, if He exists only in scriptures like God, and not in reality like the Lord of Hell, then why should I abandon my devout faith in Christ for so many years and turn to His embrace?"

"You want to see the power of reality?"

Wesker said calmly:
"I can satisfy you."

As he spoke, without any apparent movement, his aura surged infinitely, and at the same time, a terrifying pressure as vast as a mountain and as deep as the sea rushed towards Li Xingzhou.

However, given the strength of Li Xingzhou's primordial spirit, he would not be affected by such mysterious forces as aura and majesty at all.

He even saw through Wesker's hidden secrets, secrets that some ordinary people, and even psychokinetic mutants, could not perceive.

Through his primordial spirit's perspective, he saw a giant phantom appear behind Wesker.

The giant phantom was clad in jet-black armor covered with sharp spikes, with a black cloak embroidered with red stripes on its back, and a black iron glove inlaid with magnificent jewels on its right hand.

A divine aura, representing fear and majesty, emanated from Him, sweeping in all directions like a tidal wave.

He was high above, like a king who held the power of life and death. He could make people tremble and worship him with just his aura.

Li Xingzhou lowered his head in "reverence," seemingly unable to withstand the terrifying pressure, but his mind was filled with thoughts:
Which evil god is this?
Why does its image evoke a subtle sense of familiarity?
Before he could even search his memory, Wesker had already toned down his intimidating aura and addressed Li Xingzhou, who seemed to be completely taken aback:
"You are outstanding, truly a young man worthy of being a king. Some arrogant and powerful figures in the past even prostrated themselves on the ground when faced with the majesty bestowed upon me by my lord..."

Li Xingzhou said in a shocked tone, still feeling lingering fear:

“Yes, that was indeed a being even more majestic than the Lord of Hell. Although I was unable to witness His true form, merely sensing His aura was enough to fill me with awe and reverence. I never imagined that such a great being existed in the world! Mr. Wesker, may I ask the name of this supreme being? I cannot wait to worship Him.”

Wesker's face was serious, his eyes devout:

"Our Lord is the God of Tyranny, the Black King, the Great Bane!"

Bane, the god of tyranny?

Li Xingzhou raised an eyebrow. No wonder he admired my tyranny in Rex Prison. But, isn't Bane a god from another world? How could he...?

Just as he was thinking of this, he also thought of the bizarre changes in the Hell dimension and the evil god worshipped by the Lucien werewolf clan.

Therefore, the collision of different dimensions not only brought forth the werewolf god, but also the tyrannical god Bane.

I wonder what Bane tastes like, whether it's good or not...

Okay, Li Xingzhou has eaten gods before, because there are also divine cultivators in the cultivation world.

The path of the divine cultivators in the cultivation world is similar to that of otherworldly gods like Bane. They develop followers, collect the power of their wishes, condense divine power with the power of their wishes, ascend to godhood, and give back to their followers. However, it seems that the gods of Asgard in this world, whether it is Odin or Thor, do not need faith.

The ancients worshipped them simply because they had witnessed their miracles during their battles on Earth and spontaneously adopted their beliefs. Odin and his people, however, remained indifferent or even apathetic towards this.

Essentially, the gods of this universe do not need the power of faith at all. Their power seems to come purely from their bloodline, and the growth of their power is related to training and age; the older they get, the stronger they become.

The gods of Asgard, the divine cultivators of the cultivation world, and otherworldly deities like Bane belong to completely different paths.

Therefore, the divine power of the Asgardian gods is a pure and delicious feast.

The divine power of worshipping deities is poisonous to ordinary cultivators of the immortal path.

Because the divine power of a god is condensed from the will of believers, and no matter how skilled a deity is in refining willpower, a small amount of the believers' distracting thoughts will still remain within that divine power. Over time, these distracting thoughts accumulate and gradually become poison.

Those who cultivate the divine path have virtually no chance of transcending the cycle of rebirth.

The more powerful and ancient a divine cultivator is, the more likely they are to live up to the expectations of their followers, ultimately being "shaped" by them and losing their own identity—this is the poison of the power of desire and distracting thoughts. If a cultivator of the immortal path rashly absorbs this divine power, their primordial spirit will also be corrupted, leading to anything from a mental breakdown to the complete severance of their cultivation path.

However, divine power is indeed rich in nutrients, like elixirs and divine medicines, and can quickly improve one's cultivation level.

Therefore, many unscrupulous and habitually shortcut-seeking demonic cultivators, who know they have no future, risk devouring divine power to strengthen their cultivation, just for the sake of having a good time, and who cares how long they can enjoy it.

A few exceptionally talented demonic cultivators have even developed methods during their Food God careers to suppress distracting thoughts, delay backlash, and prolong their pleasure.

For example, in cultivating the path of inner demons, one might cut off the primordial spirit corrupted by distracting thoughts and refine it into a demonic artifact, or create an avatar. Alternatively, one could meticulously cut the corrupted primordial spirit into countless pieces and scatter them among the masses, allowing a vast number of people to help distribute the corruption, and so on.

These methods are mostly just treating the symptoms, not the root cause. No matter how much you delay and suppress them, they will eventually backfire.

Because the separated primordial spirit, whether it is refined into a magic weapon, created into an avatar, or scattered into other people, still essentially has a "primordial spirit resonance" with the original body. This resonance based on cause and effect is something that even a great power who has transcended tribulation cannot completely sever.

Li Xingzhou, on the other hand, unexpectedly developed a method that could truly sever this resonance.

In his previous life, during his battle with his old rival "Heart Demon Heavenly Lord," he searched the cultivation world extensively in order to figure out a way to completely destroy the Heart Demon Heavenly Lord, and unexpectedly obtained a fragmented supernatural power involving the Dao of Cause and Effect.

Later, he used this supernatural power to set up a great formation, traced back to the source, and completely erased all the demonic thoughts that the Heart Demon Heavenly Lord had divided into millions and lurked in the bodies of countless living beings.

He drew inspiration from this and developed an array that could completely refine the pollution. It could separate the primordial spirit that had been corrupted after absorbing divine power, use the array to remove the pollution, and then reclaim the pure divine consciousness.

Even the pollutants that were stripped away were reused by him and refined into a "Disruptive Mortal Chaos Demonic Light" that could pollute the primordial spirits of other cultivators.

Because Li Xingzhou truly managed to present the divine to the table without any repercussions or contamination, the cultivation world's divine path suffered a devastating blow in his previous life.

Of course, not all of them were wiped out.

There were also some beautiful and sensible goddesses who received Li Xingzhou's forgiveness.

His main aim was to crack down on those Shinto cultivators who exploited and fooled the people—for Shinto cultivators, the purer the believers' minds, the better. Ideally, they should think of nothing but farming, having children, and chanting scriptures, and not read any miscellaneous books or seek any knowledge. Only in this way would their faith in God be purer and their vows less impurity.

Therefore, many Shinto practitioners adopt a policy of keeping their followers ignorant. Because once people become too intelligent and read too many books, they will have wild thoughts and even begin to question God, and their faith will naturally not be devout and pure.

Li Xingzhou's destruction of the divine path was actually an act of merit, at least the people's minds would no longer be imprisoned and fooled.

Unfortunately, it seems the heavens didn't see it that way, and didn't show him any leniency during his ascension tribulation...

However, in this lifetime, there is no "Heavenly Way" in this universe.

Moreover, even if there is some karmic cause and effect at play, his devouring of the foreign evil gods from another world is still protecting this world from pollution. This world should award him a merit medal weighing a ton.

Many thoughts raced through his mind in that instant, but Li Xingzhou, with one hand on his chest, said softly:

"The highest respect to the great god of tyranny, the black king!"

Seeing his attitude become so submissive, Wesker nodded in satisfaction:
"Leonardo, you are a born tyrant. Before you even knew the name of our Lord, you had already walked the path of our Lord. From now on, as long as you devoutly believe in our Lord and spread our faith, our Lord will generously bestow upon you strength, power, wealth, and entry into our Lord's Kingdom, where you can serve our Lord and share in the glory of eternal life!"

Li Xingzhou's tone was filled with longing:
"I eagerly await all of this! So, how shall I serve my Lord?"

Wesker stood up, took out a scroll, and handed him a holy symbol engraved with a black hand in the shape of a grasping hand.
"This is the Bible and the emblem of our Lord. You should build a temple, enshrine the emblem, study the Bible, and understand the ideals and greatness of our Lord. When our Lord senses your piety, He will give you strength."

He raised his hand and patted Li Xingzhou on the shoulder:

"You are an excellent tyrant, ruling your slaves with harsh tyranny and fear, so you are well-suited to embark on the path of the 'Dominator of Fear'. Let my lord see your piety, and you will become the Dominator of Fear, possessing the ability to control people's hearts and dominate their will, thoughts, and souls. Your subordinates will also offer you the most fervent loyalty, and they will not even flinch if you were to step into a sea of fire or jump into an abyss."

Does fear reign supreme?
Thinking of Wesker's intimidating aura and the people he met who pledged their loyalty to him in just a few minutes, Li Xingzhou realized that Wesker had probably already embarked on the path of "Dominion of Fear".

but……

I've long possessed the ability to control people's hearts and minds, and to dominate their will, thoughts, and souls!
Besides, if I control others, then you, Wesker, or rather, Bane, are you going to control me?

Yes, Li Xingzhou had already realized that the Wesker in front of him was no longer the pure Wesker.

His soul had mutated, possessing a soul essence beyond that of ordinary people, but he also paid a price for it—when Li Xingzhou saw Bane's projection, he knew that Wesker had become some kind of "container".

His current state is, to some extent, very similar to that of Azu, who had been planted with the seeds of inner demons by Li Xingzhou.

When necessary, Bane can "descend" onto Wesker and turn Wesker into his avatar.

Therefore, while Li Xingzhou appears to be talking to Wesker, in a sense, he is also directly talking to Bane, whose whereabouts are unknown.

Li Xingzhou, who was aware of all this, did not reveal the slightest clue.

Bane plotted to control him, to use him to spread his faith and expand his power, but little did he know that Li Xingzhou was also scheming to put Bane on the dinner table.

As long as we find Bane's true location...

Furthermore, since Wesker has become Bane's "agent on earth," the status of the Black Emperor and Black Queen, who jointly appointed him as the White Emperor, is somewhat questionable.

……

A few minutes later.

Li Xingzhou, who appeared to have accepted Wesker's "preaching" and received the club's "white car" badge from Wesker, left the side hall with Bane's Bible and the badge in his arms.

"A white car?"

Seeing Li Xingzhou's badge, the three cuckoo sisters were pleasantly surprised. Among the male members, this was second only to the two kings in rank.

Li Xingzhou put away the badge and joked:
"So, you should now call me Your Excellency."

"Yes, Your Excellency Victor."

The cuckoo sisters greeted each other with smiles, showing no dissatisfaction at Li Xingzhou's sudden rise to a rank far exceeding theirs; on the contrary, they were overjoyed.

"Congratulations, Your Excellency Bai Che."

Miss Polaris also offered her congratulations with a smile.

After chatting with the girls for a few minutes, Li Xingzhou stood up and said:

"Tonight should have been a celebration, but I have some things to attend to and must leave."

"Are you leaving so early?"

The cuckoo sisters were a little reluctant to part; they wanted to chat with him a little longer.

"I'm sorry, but I do have some urgent business to attend to."

He smiled apologetically at the cuckoo sisters, then said to the North Star:
"Remember to contact Green in two days and bring the baby to see me."

“Okay.” Polaris nodded happily and said thank you.

Li Xingzhou waved to them and, together with Green, left the reception hall amidst their reluctant farewells.

After leaving the club headquarters and getting into his Lincoln Navigator, Li Xingzhou said to Green in the driver's seat:
"Go to Rex Prison."

After Green started the car, he took a few more photos of the Bane emblem with his phone and sent them to Emma's phone, then dialed Emma's number.

"Did you see the photos I sent you? Thoroughly investigate the entire prison, find every inmate with similar tattoos or similar markings in their cells... Focus on the inmates who were admitted after we took over the prison. No, don't kill them. Once you find them, take them to the conference room in Building One and keep them under guard until I get there."

After hanging up the phone, Li Xingzhou leaned back slightly, his dark eyes like an unfathomable abyss.

Now that he knew Wesker had Bane, this otherworldly deity, backing him, he already knew why the situation at Rex Prison had been leaked.

Deities like Bane possess the ability to sense when someone mentions their holy name and hear parts of what that person is saying. The greater the divine power, the more they can hear.

Since outsiders cannot infiltrate Rex Prison, and neither released prisoners nor prison staff can leak information, there is only one possible channel for leaks: among the prisoners are believers of Ben, who, by chanting Ben's holy name in prayer, directly report prison intelligence to Ben.

This method of leaking information is indeed difficult to prevent; at least at this stage, the Blood Sea Formation cannot intercept it.

However, once this secret is known, dealing with it becomes much easier.

Li Xingzhou could even use those followers of Bane to create a trap to hunt down the gods.

"I will await your arrival in Rex Prison, the great Black King..."

The thought of the god of tyranny descending upon Rex Prison brought a smile to Li Xingzhou's lips.

The bad-hearted secretary is very efficient.

The prison has an intelligent monitoring system, Emma has the authority to mobilize some of the formations, and there is also the assistance of the Death Walkers and the Secret Demons. Li Xingzhou also pointed out the key areas for investigation. Therefore, when Li Xingzhou arrived at the prison, she had already found thirteen suspects and brought them to the conference room for supervision.

"There are too many prisoners in the prison. So far, we have only checked the prisoners who were imprisoned after we took over the prison. Most of the prisoners from before have not yet been checked. But don't worry, Boss, we will definitely be able to check them all by tomorrow morning at the latest."

Emma gave this report as she accompanied Li Xingzhou to the conference room.

Li Xingzhou nodded in approval:
"Well done."

Although prisoners imprisoned after he took over the prison were more suspicious, it doesn't mean that there weren't followers of Bane among the previous prisoners. After all, the "hellish tremor" incident, suspected to be caused by a "dimensional collision," had already occurred before Li Xingzhou took over the prison.

Jason and Freddy escaped from hell because of this, and Li Xingzhou met Iriana because of it.

What are the backgrounds of these thirteen suspects?

Emma replied:

"Eight of them are gang members, including four gang leaders, three mid-level gang members, and one gang boss. They all rose to power very quickly, are ruthless, and unscrupulous. They all have those badge tattoos on their bodies, and they are all tattooed on their chests."

"Among the other five, two were wealthy young men who murdered other family members with inheritance rights in order to seize the family fortune for themselves and were later exposed and imprisoned. The other three were company executives who were sent to prison for economic crimes. They did not have tattoos, but they did pray over similar patterns drawn with soap while taking a shower."

Li Xingzhou nodded slightly, thinking to himself that, judging from the background and behavior of these thirteen suspects, it could be basically confirmed that they were all followers of Ben.

Although Bane despises losers, it is clear that His work in this world is just beginning. Therefore, even believers who are foolish enough to fail and end up in prison will hear His prayers and thus learn about Rex Prison.

That said, Wesker's statement that Bane admires Li Xingzhou is not untrue.

Because Li Xingzhou's methods of controlling Rex Prison perfectly exemplified Bane's tyranny and fear, Bane must have been very pleased to realize that there was such a guy in New York who could be called a "saint" of tyranny.

pity……

Bane was ultimately unable to see through Li Xingzhou's true nature. Even though Li Xingzhou and Wesker talked face to face for a long time, Bane still couldn't see the terror that even gods would tremble beneath Li Xingzhou's seemingly humble exterior.

Li Xingzhou entered the conference room.

With a smile on his face, he walked to the chairman's seat in the conference room, slowly took out Ben's Bible, placed it on the table, and then took out Ben's holy emblem and hung it around his neck.

Upon seeing the holy emblem, the thirteen prisoners, who had been filled with trepidation, simultaneously revealed expressions of wild joy.

Li Xingzhou gestured for calm, smiled as he looked around at everyone, then placed his hand on the Bible of the God of Tyranny and prayed devoutly:

"Praise be to our Lord, praise be to the great god of tyranny, the black monarch."

The thirteen prisoners stood up simultaneously and chanted in trembling voices of excitement:
"Praise be to our Lord! Praise be to the great god of tyranny, the Black Lord!"

A pleased smile appeared on Li Xingzhou's lips as he slowly said:

"Fellow believers, I am the Bishop of the New York Diocese, personally appointed by the Archbishop of the North American Diocese of Our Lord. From this day forward, you will be freed from the arduous daily labor. You will live in comfortable VIP suites, eat exquisite and delicious food, and all you will have to do each day is pray to Our Lord..."

Li Xingzhou had extensive experience hunting deities and knew how to lure a deity into a trap he had set.

And all of this will begin with the bait being laid...
