Chapter 14, Part 14: A Solo Journey! Call Me the Gun God
The rain is still falling.

In front of a dilapidated warehouse in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Queens.

Two black thugs huddled in the security booth, drinking cola and talking about the hottest superheroes, occasionally cursing the damn weather.

"Homelander is a hypocrite, I bet he's a complete racist..."

"Shut up, do you want him to kill you? Homelander has super hearing, he'll hear you if you yell at him like that!"

"What are you afraid of? It's raining heavily right now, and the sound of the rain is so loud, I don't believe he can hear us talking."

"You still have to be careful..."

"Have you heard? That spider-like monster that's been lurking at night lately, fighting criminals, is a female spider!"

"I already knew. The Daily Bugle even got a picture of her..."

"You actually read newspapers? Aren't you illiterate?"

"You idiot! It's a photo from the Daily Bugle. Do you think I can't even read a photo? Besides, who said I'm illiterate? I know all the letters of the alphabet and almost a hundred words!"

"Okay, my bad. I heard that the female spider had a great figure..."

"She's absolutely gorgeous! Her body is so hot I just want to bang her! Those legs, that waist, that chest... Just imagine, a tight-fitting outfit paired with that hot body... Honestly, if it were that female spider, I'd be willing to get caught and beaten up by her during a robbery..."

"Me too. If I had the chance, I would definitely cling to her leg and beg for mercy..."

Just as we were chatting animatedly, the deep sound of a car engine reached our ears through the rain.

The two thugs immediately fell silent and looked around warily, only to see a black Lincoln Navigator slowly driving out of the rain and stopping outside the barrier in front of the security booth.

"Hey, where did this idiot come from? This is Blood Hand Gang territory, not a place for you! Get lost, or I'll feed you a bullet!"

A thug brandished a pistol and shouted a warning.

But the Lincoln Navigator didn't drive away; instead, it turned off its headlights.

Then the car door opened, and someone got out of the car holding up a black umbrella, saying in a low voice:

“I am Leonardo Victor, the owner of the ‘Dream’ bar. I’m here to ransom you’ve ordered, bringing money to do as your boss asked.”

"You're the owner of the Dream Bar?"

The thug carrying the pistol had clearly received orders from his boss; upon hearing this, he licked his lips and gave a malicious smile.
"It's you. Come here."

The man walked over with an umbrella. Only after he got close to the security booth did the two black thugs realize that he was a tall, handsome young man with black hair and black eyes.

He held a long-handled umbrella in his right hand and carried a leather suitcase in his left. He was wearing a white shirt, a mid-length black trench coat, and a tie. His leather shoes were shiny and dry. He looked impeccably dressed like an old-school Italian mafia member.

That said, Li Xingzhou in this life does indeed have one-quarter Italian blood; his grandfather was a true Roman descendant.

"only you?"

Another black thug asked casually.

Li Xingzhou, who went to the meeting alone, smiled and nodded:

"It's just me."

The thug with the gun asked:
"Is there money in the box?"

Li Xingzhou lifted the box:
One million US dollars.

The two black thugs' breathing suddenly became rapid. They looked at each other and saw a glint of excitement in each other's eyes.

Unfortunately, this money belongs to the boss.

However, the eldest brother is always generous; he takes the lion's share, so the younger ones should also be able to get a piece of the pie.

"Come here, search me."

The thug with the gun whispered.

"A body search? Isn't that unnecessary?"

Li Xingzhou grinned at the two of them, a dark light gleaming in his eyes:

“I didn’t bring a gun. I just came to take my people away, I didn’t intend to fight with your Blood Hand Gang. Besides, this is your territory, even if I brought a gun, what could I do alone?”

Meeting the dark glint in his eyes, the two thugs were momentarily stunned. Then, the thug with the gun nodded as if waking from a dream, and said:

"Alright then, come with us."

After saying that, the two thugs came out of the guard booth and led Li Xingzhou into the warehouse.

……

"You're Leonardo Victor, the owner of the Dream Bar?"

Inside the warehouse, the burly, bear-like Blood Hands gang leader, Badman, sat imposingly on a tattered sofa, a cigar dangling from his lips. His eyes, sharp and menacing, were fixed on Li Xingzhou like a hungry wolf. A voluptuous black woman sat in his lap, writhing against him.

To the left and right of the tattered sofa stood two burly black men with shiny, muscular skin and pistols tucked into their belts, their arms crossed over their chests, glaring menacingly at Li Xingzhou.

Li Xingzhou was surrounded by about a dozen Blood Hand Gang members, each of whom was armed with a gun, including not only pistols but also two submachine guns.

Surrounded by so many gang members like a pack of wolves, Li Xingzhou remained calm and composed.

He leaned on a folded long-handled umbrella with his right hand and carried a suitcase with his left, giving Badman a slight nod.

“I am Leonardo, and I have brought the money as you requested. One million US dollars, not a penny less.”

As he spoke, he lifted the suitcase toward Badman.

There was indeed a million dollars in the suitcase.

However, those were just prop US dollars—a while ago, a desperate black thug robbed a film crew's crew member and got a whole box of US dollars. Thinking he had struck it rich, he waved the money at Li Xingzhou's nightclub to squander it. As you can imagine, the thug who tried to get free money with prop US dollars got a beating, and the box of prop US dollars was confiscated.

Now this box of US dollars has come in handy; Li Xingzhou used it to ransom people.

“Jeff,” Budman gestured to the burly black man to the left of the sofa.

The burly black man was Jeff, the second-in-command of the Blood Hands gang who had called Bancells. After receiving the instructions, Jeff immediately strode over and took the briefcase from Li Xingzhou's hands.

"Wait a minute." Li Xingzhou put his suitcase back and said to Badman, "I need to see my people first."

Badman's eyes were fierce, and he gave a sinister smile:
"You don't actually think... I'm going to let you go, do you?"

Li Xingzhou raised an eyebrow: "What do you mean?"

"You ask me what I mean?" Badman let out a low, hoarse, strange laugh. "What I mean is, of course..."

He raised his hand and pointed at Li Xingzhou:

"kill him!"

Jeff drew the Glock 17 pistol from his waistband and pointed it at Li Xingzhou's head.

"I knew it……"

Li Xingzhou shook his head and sighed helplessly.

As he sighed, Jeff, who had pointed the gun at Li Xingzhou's brow, grinned maliciously and pulled the trigger.

At the very same moment the gunshot rang out.

Li Xingzhou turned his head with lightning speed, and the bullet almost grazed his temple, hitting a Blood Hand Gang member standing directly behind him in the forehead.

As the Blood Hand Gang members fell backward to the ground.

Li Xingzhou flicked his right wrist, his forearm suddenly rising, and the long-handled umbrella-shaped sword thrust upwards at an angle. The metal tip of the umbrella, wrapped in true energy, pierced deeply into Jeff's throat with a soft "plop."

He then let go of the umbrella, stepped forward, caught Jeff's Glock 17 as it fell, and with his left hand, he reached behind his waist and pulled out his Colt Python.

bang bang bang bang...

A sudden burst of rapid and intense gunfire erupted.

Li Xingzhou raised both pistols simultaneously and pulled the triggers repeatedly. The muzzles swept out in a semi-circle from front to back, one to the left and one to the right, achieving a firing rate similar to that of a submachine gun with two pistols.

When the gunfire stopped.

The dozen or so Blood Hand Gang members surrounding Li Xingzhou on the left, right, and behind him had all fallen backward, each with a bullet wound between their eyebrows!
