Chapter 21, Part 21: An Encounter with the Spider Woman at the Funeral
early morning.

The torrential rain had turned into a light drizzle.

Wearing only pajama bottoms and with his torso bare, Li Xingzhou walked to the window, swiftly pulled back the curtains, and opened the window.

The forest hills are nicely green and the environment is quite elegant.

Looking out at the pleasing greenery and breathing in the fresh morning air after the rain, Li Xingzhou stretched comfortably and moved his hands and feet a little.

I was just about to go to the gym to warm up with some equipment when my phone suddenly rang.

Li Xingzhou picked up his phone from the bedside table, glanced at the caller ID, and saw it was Helena. He pressed the answer button, his voice gentle and tinged with a smile as he spoke:

Good morning, Helena.

Although he wasn't particularly interested in Helena, they had at least spent two nights together intimately. She had even competed against Katie on stage, doing her best to serve Li Xingzhou, so Li Xingzhou naturally had to be a little more gentlemanly.

Good morning, Leon. Chris's funeral is today. Are you going to attend?

Helena's voice sounded a little sad.

"Chris?"

Li Xingzhou was slightly taken aback and almost blurted out: Who is Chris?

Chris's funeral was held in a community church.

The petite girl was wearing a dignified black collared dress with a white beaded flower pinned to the collar. Her long brown hair was tied in a simple ponytail, and a large black umbrella was on her head.

However, the umbrella wasn't held by Helena.

A girl, also dressed in a black dress and wearing tall leather boots, with short, bright blonde hair, held up the large umbrella with one hand, sheltering her and Helena under it.

Helena is already considered a beautiful woman, with an outstanding figure and looks. She's in the same league as cheerleader Katie Holmes, who has countless suitors. However, their personalities differ; Katie is passionate and outgoing, while Helena is pure and charming.

Regardless of her performance when teaming up with Katie to fight Li Xingzhou, even if she achieved the three-way breakthrough, she is usually the kind of innocent and adorable girl who looks pure and lovely at first glance.

Even so, Helena paled in comparison to the blonde girl next to her.

The blonde girl had delicate features, her pretty face looked like it had been painted, with a pair of light blue eyes and alluring, sexy lips.

Li Xingzhou smiled and extended his hand to Gwen Stacy, thinking to himself, "New York is so small, I actually ran into Spider-Woman at this funeral!"
Since the Spider-Man in this world is a woman, it's most likely Gwen Stacy.

Gwen reached out and gently shook hands with Li Xingzhou, smiling as she said:

“Call me Gwen, Mr. Leonard Victor. I’ll be attending Imperial University this fall semester, so we’ll be alumni.”

"Really? Gwen, you're a freshman at Imperial University? Since we're alumni, you can call me Leon from now on. By the way, Gwen, how did you and Helena meet?"

“Helena’s father often donated equipment to my father’s police station, and my father also invited Helena’s family to our home many times.” Gwen shrugged. “Helena and I have been good friends for a long time.”

After chatting for a few minutes, and seeing that it was almost time, the three of them headed towards the church to attend Chris's funeral.

Helena called while we were driving toward the forest hill.

Li Xingzhou slowed down, pulled over to the side of the road, and pressed the answer button.

“Li Ang, why did you leave alone? Katie and I were hoping to have lunch with you, and then go to your house…”

As Chris's ex-girlfriend, Katie naturally attended the funeral.

At the funeral, he and Helena sat on either side of Li Xingzhou.

It's true that it's quite interesting to have two girls with different styles competing on the same stage, but the problem is that Li Xingzhou spent half a day playing with Katie yesterday afternoon and spent half the night having a deep conversation with Mariko. How can he be in any mood now?

That being said, he wasn't just making excuses to decline Helena and Katie; he genuinely had something to do that afternoon.

After killing Jeff with an umbrella last night, Li Xingzhou had an idea: to create an umbrella-shaped weapon, a multi-functional weapon similar to the Penguin's umbrella.

Of course, it would be best to forge an umbrella-shaped magic weapon.

In his eighth incarnation, he possessed a treasure umbrella called the "Umbrella of Myriad Manifestations of the Heavens." Once opened, it would darken the sky, reverse the universe, disrupt the laws of nature, and shatter the void, making it incredibly versatile.
