Chapter 108 Log
After several attempts, Tony was still unable to open the smart lock on the lab door.

"In that case, we can only take Plan B." Li Wei sighed upon hearing this.

"You mean Plan B, which you're talking about? You're not going to use a bomb, are you?" Tony asked, a smirk playing on his lips.

After the "metal magic" incident, Tony didn't believe a word Levi said.

"How could I be so brainless?" Li Wei said with great dissatisfaction.

"So what's your Plan B?" Natasha retorted sarcastically.

“Of course it’s…Jessica!” Levi shouted.

"Huh?" Jessica, who was standing in a daze behind, was taken aback.

"Come and break down the door!" Li Wei said.

"Oh!" Jessica came running over and started smashing the metal door with a hammer.

Eighty...eighty...

"Are you kidding me? The material of this door..." Tony was about to make a few sarcastic remarks.

Then I saw Jessica smash the door down in a few moves.

Indeed, although the door was made of good material, even with Jessica's immense strength and the heavy hammer, she couldn't break it down.

However, the gate and the building weren't completely integrated, so she simply smashed the gate down (that's what Drax did in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3!).
In Tony's silence, the group entered the laboratory one by one.

However, upon entering the laboratory, the first thing that caught everyone's eye was not some high-end laboratory equipment or any other clean, bright, high-tech room.

Instead, there were countless cages of all sizes, piled up haphazardly, and emitting a foul odor.

“I remember this place. It used to imprison all sorts of creatures, not just ordinary animals, but also all kinds of intelligent beings from the wilderness—I was one of them!” Shanna’s eyes were filled with hatred as she spoke of her past experiences.

From his description, everyone could imagine how terrible the scene must have been.

"Pah! What supreme evolution? If you ask me, he's just a cosmic human trafficker!" Natasha spat after hearing Shanna's description.

Ever since she learned that she had been kidnapped from her parents, she has come to hate human traffickers as well.

“That’s right. If there’s a chance, let this guy experience Kilgrave’s treatment too!” Levi nodded and said.

“That’s right! That’s how it should be!” Jessica agreed.

Frank nodded without saying anything.

Bronsky and Shanna were completely confused. Who was Kilgrave? He seemed to be hated by many. What kind of treatment did he receive?

As for Tony? He was still staring blankly at the door that Jessica had smashed down.

“Next, everyone will split up in pairs as before and look for any valuable clues. Be careful. Shanna, do you remember where the lab where you were modified was?” Li Wei asked.

"Remember, come with me!" Shanna nodded and walked upstairs, with Li Wei following behind.

After taking a couple of steps, I realized something was wrong. Where was Tony?

I turned around and saw that he was still standing there in a daze, so I just dragged him away.

“I think you could check where the energy source for this lab is later. I don’t think it’s fossil fuels,” Levi said to Tony, standing in the elevator.

This laboratory is quite large and is still operating, so its energy source is likely of some research value. However, what's rather strange is that, apart from basic doors and windows, the laboratory has almost no armed defenses.

It's unclear whether the Supreme Evolution was overconfident in itself and its armed forces, or whether it simply felt the natives of the Wildlands posed no threat.

"Hmph, it's not necessarily better than my reactor." Tony didn't take Levi's suggestion too seriously.

“But you won’t sell the reactor, will you?” Li Wei retorted.

“…Okay, you’re right!” Tony said, unable to refute.

They soon arrived at their target floor.

But as the door opened, what appeared before them was a monster with octopus tentacles, stitches all over its body, and a mechanical arm.

"Weren't you just complaining that this lab has no armed defenses?" Tony looked up at the nearly three-meter-tall monster, swallowed hard, and asked Levi beside him.

"Nonsense! I can sue you for defamation for something that's completely baseless!" Li Wei vehemently denied it. He was clearly only thinking to himself, "Sanna, you didn't mention before that there was such a thing in here!"

"I don't know either... I've never seen this thing before. If it really exists, I don't think I can escape... And you really did complain just now!" Shanna said in a trembling voice... It wasn't that she was afraid, but mainly that this monster was just too damn ugly.

"Intruders... die!" As the monster spoke, it raised its weapon and aimed it at them.

"Damn it!" As he spoke, Li Wei had already transformed into a sheep—no, because of the glyph, he transformed into a penguin.

So the monster that was just now showing off its power was turned into a cute little penguin running around everywhere.

"What kind of magic is this? I've never seen you use it before!" Tony was stunned. It was the first time he had ever seen Levi use this skill.

“Just a simple transformation…” Levi said, stuffing a Tony Stark-made time bomb into the uncontrollable penguin’s arms, then opening a portal to Stygia City, kicking the penguin inside, and then instantly closing the portal.

Cooperating with such scum as the Supreme Evolution to help him capture people shows that the Snake People are indeed no good. Let them taste the masterpiece of the Supreme Evolution themselves.

"Did I really say that just now?" Li Wei asked, turning around after doing all this.

Shanna and Tony nodded.

“Well, it seems I underestimated the defenses here. I reckon there’s more than one monster like this in this lab. We need to tell Natasha and the others to be careful,” Levi shrugged.

This time, Li Wei's prediction was correct, and they encountered another one afterward.

He was sent to Stygia again by Li Wei.

Jessica and Bronsky's team, as well as Natasha and Frank's two-person teams, did indeed encounter similar monsters.

However, this monster looks terrifying, but its strength seems to be just so-so.

One had his head smashed off by Jessica's hammer, and the other was blown to pieces by Frank's bomb.

Strangely enough, these monsters not only had high-tech mechanical arms sewn on, but also had rocket flight devices installed on their bodies.

However, it was not equipped with any firearms... so it's hard to evaluate.

But thinking about it carefully, it doesn't seem so strange.

Because if Li Wei and his companions weren't strong enough, even ordinary creatures in the wilderness, like Shanna who had also been modified, would probably have a hard time withstanding these monsters.

Without the obstruction of these modified monsters, Li Wei and his companions easily found the corresponding laboratory and discovered a log.
