Chapter 216 The Battle Begins!
Before heading to the main hall to confront Quill and his son, Li Wei first led everyone on a trip to the Skybreaker, stuffing all the full space packs into the Skybreaker's cargo hold.

However, just as Li Wei was walking at the back, preparing to return to Ego Star, his communication device rang.

“Victor, a spaceship has entered this airspace; it should be a Raider!” Natasha said in the communication.

Upon hearing this, Li Wei ran to the cockpit and saw that, sure enough, a large spaceship was already hovering above Igor, and several smaller spaceships were detaching and preparing to enter Igor.

It was Yondu's Raiders team.

"What do you want me to do?" Yondu asked calmly.

"It's actually very simple. Just come with us and take down Igor, and you won't be working for nothing!" Li Wei said, recalling the Igor Treasure Vault, which they had only emptied halfway.

"Deal, but I have to take Quill with me afterwards!" Rescuing his adopted son, eliminating a potential threat, and getting paid—Yondu had no reason not to take such a good deal.

"Hahahaha... That's ridiculous! I've lived for millions of years, and I've never seen anyone as arrogant as you in front of me." Igor slapped his thigh and laughed loudly upon hearing this.

Do these raiders even realize what kind of being they're dealing with? Because of their previous extortionate demands for payment, Ego also mistook Levi and his group for raiders.

"Hey! You've finally seen it all today, it's quite an eye-opener for you!" Li Wei said with a smile.

"Very well, you're really courting death. Since that's the case, then as a form of repayment, I'll show you insignificant mortals what the wrath of the gods is!" Igor laughed in extreme anger.

“I don’t know what God’s wrath is like, but I can let you know what a son’s wrath is like. Quill, do you know? Your mother’s brain tumor was put there by your own father!” Levi suddenly said to Quill, who was standing next to Ego.

"What?" Quill, who already knew what kind of person his father was, was originally going to step aside and watch his father unleash his power to deal with Levi and his group, but when he heard Levi's words, he was stunned.

“Your father isn’t some lovestruck fool, but a cosmic Alexandre Dumas. To him, beings like your mother are everywhere in the universe, and you are just one of his countless offspring. And on this planet, there are tens of thousands of your half-siblings. Oh, and let me introduce you, this little mantis sister is also your sister!” Levi pointed to Mantis beside him with his thumb.

Mandis lowered his head timidly.

Star-Lord's attack was completely meaningless to Ego.

"Hmph, who do you think you are? How dare you attack me!" Igor laughed angrily as he returned to his original form almost instantly.

“You… killed my mother!” Star-Lord roared.

"In that case, I'll just have to make you a thousand-year battery and let you grow slowly!" Ego raised his hand, and an energy tentacle burst out of the ground, stabbing towards Star-Lord's back.

This time, however, Star-Lord was not easily strung together by the sudden energy tentacles, unlike in the movie.

Because of the powerful Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers intervened.

However, she wasn't the only one prepared to make a move; in fact, at Li Wei's signal, everyone took action.

Captain Marvel is just the fastest one!
With a wave of her hand, she unleashed a burst of energy that blasted apart the tentacle that was stabbing at Star-Lord. Then, she charged toward Ego, crashing through more than a dozen walls before bursting out of the palace.

Seeing this, Li Wei couldn't help but twitch his lips. He knew you were strong, but why were you competing with a human host?
Its true form is underground!
