Chapter 30 For the Alliance!

"You said our future organization would be called the Avengers, right?" Tony Stark asked. "Who came up with that name?"

“The current director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury, a black, bald, one-eyed man,” Levi replied.

"Tsk, that doesn't sound very appealing. No wonder the name is so awful," Tony Stark said, smacking his lips as he finished his chrysanthemum tea.

To be honest, this tea is really effective; he felt all the fatigue from not sleeping all night had vanished.

I even felt like I was going to take on ten of them.

Well, not ten burly men, but blond, big-breasted, and wavy-haired girls.

"So what name are you planning to choose?" Li Wei asked curiously.

“Didn’t you say my future title would be Iron Man? How about we call it the Brotherhood of Steel?” Tony Stark said after a moment’s thought.

Li Wei remained silent.

Good grief, you're really not being polite, you're just naming yourself, aren't you?
Return the Brotherhood of Steel.

If you hadn't stood in front of me and used the word "IRON" instead of "steel," I would have thought I'd dressed in the wrong clothes and wandered into the world of radiation.

But you have to admit, the name Brotherhood of Steel does indeed fit the Iron Man suit quite well.

The premise is that you can't be the only one with the battle suit.

“You don’t seem too fond of this name?” Tony raised an eyebrow when he saw Levi remain silent.

"It's not that it's impossible. If you're willing to equip each member with an Iron Man suit, then this name is indeed quite suitable!" Li Wei was quite blunt. If he could get a suit, using this name wouldn't be a bad idea, right?
“…You asked me to give advice!” Tony was immediately displeased upon hearing this.

If every member had a suit, then who would be the real Iron Man?
“You said it yourself, it’s just a suggestion,” Li Wei shrugged.

"That's called the Brotherhood of the Shield?" Tony continued. "My father's S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't working, so I'll lead the Brotherhood of the Shield to save the world..." Tony said arrogantly.

"I suddenly think the Avengers are actually pretty good!" Li Wei said, covering his face.

You bunch of Americans, you can't even come up with a name once you leave the fraternity, can you?

I know that in the US, students like to form all sorts of fraternities during their school years, and this has a huge influence on Americans.

But can't they really live without the Brotherhood?
And did you know that there is a Brotherhood of the Shield in the comics, or in other Marvel universes, and your dad is a member?
"League of Legends? Justice League? Watchmen?" Tony rattled off a string of names.

“…I think that saving the world doesn’t necessarily have to be limited to heroes and righteous people, don’t you think?” Li Wei said.

He just wanted to build something that could help him deal with future crises; he didn't actually want to be a superhero and uphold justice.

So it's not that the names of League of Legends and Justice League are bad.

But carrying such a name always made Li Wei feel a little uneasy.

He's just an ordinary citizen; forget about him being a hero.

Well, it's definitely not because these names are used too much.

“Okay, you have a point, and these names are indeed a bit cliché. As the smartest person on Earth, I should really think of a more unique name—ha, I’ve got it!” Tony thought for a while, then clapped his hands and said.

"I'm all ears!" At this point, Li Wei was starting to lose hope in this person's naming abilities.

“We don’t need any prefix anymore. As you said, we should unite all forces that can be united, and we don’t need to be limited by each other’s backgrounds. Let’s just call it the Alliance!” Tony said.

Then he saw Li Wei staring at him with an extremely strange look.

"What? You're still not satisfied?" Tony said, clearly annoyed. "No, no, no, I'm just amazed by your wisdom. How come I didn't think of such a good name? For the Alliance!" Levi raised his glass to Tony.

alliance.

What seemed like an ordinary word struck a chord with Li Wei.

Because he played World of Warcraft in his previous life, Li Wei is a staunch Alliance player—of course, as a veteran player of over ten years, he has also played Horde.

But if he had to choose, he would definitely choose the league without hesitation.

"Uh... For the Alliance!" Tony didn't understand why such a simple word would be so clearly welcomed, but he subconsciously raised his empty glass and said, "For the Alliance."

Thus, a new organization was born, destined to become renowned throughout the entire Marvel multiverse.

In less than the time it takes for the two of them to drink a cup of tea, a hasty decision was made.

then……

"What are you still doing sitting here?" After staring at each other for a while, Li Wei couldn't help but ask.

"Then what do you think I should do?" Tony asked, looking surprised.

“No, you already know almost everything you need to know. Shouldn’t you be going back now to deal with the threat posed by Obadiah Stane, and then focus on researching the Arc Reactor and the Iron Man suit, so you can become a real Iron Man as soon as possible?” Levi asked. “Oh, right, I also need to send someone to Saint-Pierre to pick him up.”

“Of course I know these things need to be done, but there’s no rush, is there? Didn’t you say that if Obama wants to kill me, it’ll be at least five years from now, and the other crises are at least eight or nine years away. I can make the Iron Man suit in a year or two, right?” Tony couldn’t help but say. He does like doing mechanical research, but when did he become known as a workaholic? Normally, if Obama wasn’t pestering him, he wouldn’t even bother to help his company research weapons.

Upon hearing this, Li Wei scratched his head.

Before experiencing life and death and becoming Iron Man, Tony Stark didn't seem to be a particularly diligent person.

Although I often modify cars, it's mainly for fun.

At other times, he's a complete playboy, rarely doing anything serious and leaving everything to Pepper.

At this moment, Li Wei suddenly regretted telling the other party everything too soon.

How about we re-plan the "kidnapping" ourselves?
"Alright, stop looking at me like that. I was just kidding. I'll get started when I get back. But you only offer me a cup of tea when I come to your house? I didn't even have breakfast!" Tony suddenly felt a chill run down his spine from Levi's gaze, so he quickly changed his tune.

He was definitely joking.

Although he wasn't exactly a diligent person before becoming Iron Man.

But in reality, not many spoiled brats are as despicable as some are.

The main reason is that he didn't have much of a sense of crisis back then.

However, the appearance of Li Wei, the truth about his parents' death, and the many crises to come have indeed brought him a sense of crisis.

Having not slept all night, he came to find Li Wei early in the morning and was indeed a little hungry—he hadn't felt it much before because he was preoccupied with his thoughts.

But now I understand everything I need to know, and I have a certain direction.

So the feeling of hunger suddenly surged up.

“…Just say you’re hungry!” Levi said, speechless. But after Tony said that, he also felt a little hungry.

So, right in front of Tony, he conjured up two meals out of thin air.
