Chapter 609: All living things are illusions, Bodhisattva enters the dream

The worldly affairs enter through the six senses. In Buddhist practice, unless one can achieve the state of Pratyekabuddha with pure six senses, even a Bodhisattva will regress in practice. Of course, the solution is simple, which is to stay away from the worldly affairs.

Otherwise, when the six senses are completely contaminated by the world, even immortals and Buddhas will be lost in karma, and then the five signs of decay of heavenly beings will appear, and they will eventually become like mortals, wandering in the world over and over again.

However, such a simple method of staying away from the worldly affairs cannot be realized in this "Array of All Living Beings", because staying away from the worldly affairs means naturally staying away from the base of the array, and it will no longer be possible to break the array.

Bodhisattva Baoxiang put his palms together and chanted pure scriptures in a low voice. The soft and compassionate Buddha light radiated from inside to outside, temporarily resisting the worldly desires of all living beings so that the worldly desires would not erode them so quickly. At the same time, his eyes were as sharp as torches, and he wanted to speed up the search for the figure of Ah Da, the master of the formation.

But when the Buddha's light around him continued to shine out of his body, he looked like a huge ground lamp in the night, which naturally aroused the curiosity of the people around him.

The passers-by seemed to have suddenly discovered the Bodhisattva Baoxiang.

They took out a wooden box from their bag and shone it at Bodhisattva Baoxiang, which made Bodhisattva Baoxiang frown subconsciously, thinking it was a soul-stealing technique. He stretched out his hand, grabbed one of the people he was shining the light on and said, "Donor, what is this?"

The young man whose hand was held felt as if his palm was clamped by a pair of pliers and he couldn't get away at all. However, he was not panicked or angry. Instead, he looked more excited than ever before. He turned the wooden box over and said to himself and Baoxiang Bodhisattva, "My family, we really met a Bodhisattva, the kind that glows brightly at night! Come to my live broadcast room and get some of the Buddha's light. I promise that you will live a long life!"

Then he used his other free hand to put his arm around the shoulders of Bodhisattva Baoxiang, "Come on, Bodhisattva, let's smile together!"

Bodhisattva Baoxiang displayed his clairvoyance and looked at the young man. He saw that although the young man was the result of the seven emotions and six desires of the mortal world, he himself was not completely illusory. Behind him were eight lunar moons that constantly waxed and waned. Through these eight lunar moons, he was connected to the dreams of all living beings in Daxia.

Ordinary people cannot control their emotions in dreams. They may even experience dozens of bizarre dreams in one night. These dreams vary in length. As Zhou Tieyi established the Mingyue System and later the Daxia Exchange, he gradually began to collect dreams that influenced people all over the world.

Therefore, Zhou Yulong naturally took this into consideration when creating the [Great Array of Ten Thousand Gods and All Living Beings]. A normal military array, if it could gather tens of thousands of people and condense their power into one, would already be a top-three formation. However, since the [Great Array of Ten Thousand Gods and All Living Beings] is named after all living beings, it can only be called that if all living beings in the world participate.

Fortunately, he didn't regard everyone as an illusion and started killing them directly. Otherwise, under the entanglement of this formation, not only would the worldly dust enter his body, but he would also be entangled in the sins of killing, and all his merits would be burned to ashes.

Not being able to kill at will is a restriction for a cultivator like him who practices the orthodox teachings of a famous sect. But on the other hand, since this is the dreamland of all living beings and is based on the "right path", he naturally has an advantage. From the tone and expression of this young man, it can be seen that the people here not only do not reject him, but welcome him very much.

Ah Da and the others were also part of this dream. Perhaps He could use these sentient beings to find Ah Da and the others. After thinking this through, Bodhisattva Baoxiang let go of the young man's hand, put his palms together and said, "I have lived in the mountains for a long time. Now I have come down the mountain to save those who are destined to be saved. Now that I see your wisdom, I wonder if you are willing to follow me to practice Buddhism?"

In an illusion formation shrouded by all living beings, Baoxiang Bodhisattva's initial thoughts were similar to Zhou Tieyi's. Since this formation did not immediately show murderous intent, but only used the mortal world to interfere with its own judgment, could he in turn teach Buddhism and influence the living beings here?

However, Bodhisattva Baoxiang still underestimated the future scene that Zhou Tieyi foresaw.

Hearing that Bodhisattva Baoxiang was going to teach the Dharma, the captured young man operated the wooden box and shouted more excitedly, "Family members, let's share the blessing. Instead, he held the Bodhisattva's hand and said, "You are too slow to save people one by one. I have a method that can allow you to save tens of thousands of people overnight. Within a month, you will be able to save trillions of people!"

Bodhisattva Baoxiang was suddenly shocked. He had been saving sentient beings for hundreds of years, and he had only experienced such a scene once or twice, and those times were when the world was in great disaster. But the illusion of the city in front of him was peaceful and prosperous. How could he save tens of thousands of people? Not to mention saving trillions of people in a month. If there really was such a method, it would be worth his trip to see it in this formation!

As soon as he thought about it, the town, which was originally a dreamland, changed immediately. When the surrounding space stabilized again, Baoxiang Bodhisattva was already sitting in a spacious room, and people were coming and going around him, busy like ants.

Suddenly, several big lights shone over, making Baoxiang Bodhisattva a little dazzled. The young man holding Baoxiang Bodhisattva's hand was very familiar with the scene. He first whispered to comfort the Bodhisattva, "Bodhisattva, don't be afraid. You are a real Bodhisattva. Show some small magical powers later. I guarantee that there will be believers converting to you immediately."

"The Buddha warned that Buddhist supernatural powers should never be shown to others easily."

Bodhisattva Baoxiang is still awake now. He knows that the people in front of him are an evolution of the dreams of all living beings in Daxia, but the worldly world is gradually affecting him.

The young man looked at me with a look of "Don't deceive me". "The Buddha said not to show it to others easily, but he didn't say not to show it to others. Besides, you were shining with Buddha's light when you first entered the city. Otherwise, how could I be saved by you? I know that you have many Buddhist precepts, but we don't need you to display any earth-shattering supernatural powers. You only need to treat a few minor wounds. This doesn't violate your precepts, right?"

Bodhisattva Baoxiang thought about it for a moment and decided that this was not a big deal. Even if it was a novice monk who had just gone out of the temple, helping others heal their injuries was a good deed advocated by the temple.

However, at this time, Bodhisattva Baoxiang was still very alert. He shook his head slightly and said, "There are doctors in this city, and the donor is not a poor person. If you want to treat him, why should I worry about it?"

When the young man heard what Baoxiang Bodhisattva said, he said, "Then you don't have to use your magical powers. Just talk about the scriptures later." Baoxiang Bodhisattva did not refuse. If He didn't even talk about the scriptures, He would not be able to save the sentient beings in the dream before Him.

Just when the young man and Baoxiang Bodhisattva reached an agreement, everyone smiled knowingly. In fact, it didn't matter if Baoxiang Bodhisattva didn't preach the scriptures today. As long as He sat here and lived as a valuable Bodhisattva, those magical powers and scriptures were redundant.

The field controller behind the headlights suddenly shouted, "Everyone, get ready."

"Dear family members, welcome to the live broadcast room. You who are here today are blessed. You can worship the Bodhisattva for free and receive the Buddha's light for free. First, wave 666 to let the Bodhisattva see your piety. The Bodhisattva will see that you have all the blessings, wealth and longevity! Come on, cut over! This is the second powerful aspect of the 'Array of Living Beings' before us. Not only will the mundane world gradually emerge here, thus blinding the six senses of the immortals and Buddhas, but the dreams of all living beings will be connected with the immortals and Buddhas in various strange ways. This is manifested in Baoxiang Bodhisattva's obsession with saving all living beings.

When the faith of all living beings was gathered on Baoxiang Bodhisattva, Baoxiang Bodhisattva did not just sit there. He began to comprehend the essence of this world, and wanted to search for the figure of A'da, the person who set up the formation, through the dreams of all living beings.

It's just that these dreams are only superficially linked to him, thus giving him an illusion that as long as he goes deeper into saving these sentient beings, he can really control this formation. By then, with the formation of sentient beings in hand, not to mention seizing the Mingyue system, he can at least touch the realm of Pratyekabuddha.

While Bodhisattva Baoxiang was still thinking about a few things, the live broadcast room was already filled with noise.

The young man continued, "If you worship the Bodhisattva, you will live a hundred years. If you shine the Buddha's light, blessings will come naturally. But how can blessings and longevity alone be enough? When the Buddha was alive, he also gave away the Three Treasures. What do you think is missing?!"

"Buddha, I don't want blessings and longevity, just give me some wealth!"

The young man continued, "Family members, if you want happiness, wealth and longevity, you must have a copy of the Diamond Sutra, which was taught by the Buddha himself and blessed by the Bodhisattva!"

He took out a beautifully printed sutra from the side. The image of the Buddha on it seemed to be gilded, solemn and sacred yet approachable. "Now let the Bodhisattva explain this Buddhist sutra to us!"

After saying this, he handed the scripture in his hand to Baoxiang Bodhisattva.

While Baoxiang Bodhisattva was suppressing the distracting thoughts that washed over his mind, he flipped through the Buddhist scriptures. There was nothing wrong with the scriptures, as they contained the true words of the Buddha. However, the words in the scriptures seemed to be covered with gold powder, which made Baoxiang Bodhisattva squint.

But the scriptures are serious, and Baoxiang Bodhisattva also agreed to let the young man preach the scriptures. This also meets His current needs. After all, such a large number of chaotic dreams are suddenly connected to Him. If He can educate them through Buddhist scriptures, then the distracting thoughts will naturally disappear and all living beings will convert.

Then Bodhisattva Baoxiang turned to the first page of the scripture and rubbed the lines of scriptures with his fingertips.

"If I hear..."

Bodhisattva Baoxiang began to preach the sutra. With his accumulated Buddhist knowledge, he was able to explain the Diamond Sutra, which had been explained by countless people, incisively and vividly, and at the same time with his own unique ideas.

Although Baoxiang Bodhisattva did not use his magical powers, the ceiling in the live broadcast room was still full of golden flowers and golden lotuses were still emerging from the ground. These illusory ceiling flowers and golden lotuses began to gradually penetrate into the dreams of all living beings through the connection between Baoxiang Bodhisattva and them.

Under his perception, the endless red dust was no longer the miasma lingering in his heart, but instead a ladder leading to the Buddhist teachings.

If he could really use this 'array of living beings' to convert hundreds of millions of believers, he would naturally be able to complete his own bodhisattva practice and thus enter the pure and clear realm of Pratyekabuddha.

However, it is not so easy to practice Buddhism. When Bodhisattva Baoxiang was talking halfway, the young man next to him suddenly interrupted and said, "The Dharma should not be taught lightly. The Bodhisattva's teaching of the Diamond Sutra is one principle, and everyone should go back and read it. If you don't burn incense in this temple, how can you invite the real Buddha? Now that the Bodhisattva is in front of us, we will do good deeds in our live broadcast room today to help everyone accumulate wealth. When my family becomes prosperous in the future, don't forget me! One, two, three, go to the link, and the Bodhisattva will personally teach you a copy of the Diamond Sutra!"

However, it is now a live broadcast, and Bodhisattva Baoxiang is blending with the dreams of all living beings. He does not dare to use thundering means in front of so many people immediately to capture the young man. He just wants to wait for the dream to change slightly so that he can find an opportunity to take action.

But when Bodhisattva Baoxiang thought this, he had naturally fallen into a deep dream.
