“Maitreya, we are already in the same boat. No matter how many scriptures you recite, if you do not strive for the holy path today, you will surely suffer the backlash of your great vows and have no chance of attaining enlightenment!”

The Blood Sea Lord chuckled darkly, "You can teach ordinary people to chant scriptures and become Buddhas, but don't fool yourself. Chanting scriptures will never make you a Buddha. If you want to become a Buddha, you can only fight your way through this world!"

"The only good news now is that in order to win over the vast majority of the gods and suppress the future Heavenly Emperor, He has prevented the saints and gods from taking action in this world. This restriction also includes Him. As long as we can successfully complete the southward spread of Buddhism, you become your Buddha and I become my demon. When the time comes, we can stay in this world and not leave. Even He can't do anything to us!"
