While Ni Heng was writing his poems, Lu Bu was also trying hard to decipher what he wrote.

If it wasn't for the desire to change my ugly handwriting, I would have dabbled in cursive writing when I had nothing to do.

He really couldn't recognize a single word written in cursive script!

Fortunately, after hard work, Lu Bu also roughly understood the content of this poem:

"Only the magical bird from the Western Regions, with its unique natural posture...

"No one flies indiscriminately, and no one soars without choosing a forest...

“Although we are of the same species, we have different intelligence and minds.

"As beautiful as the phoenix, how can one compare in virtue to other birds?

"I hope to die in return for your kindness, and I am willing to resign in order to show my ignorance..."

After reading the content of the poem, Lu Bu immediately understood what the poem wanted to express.

Although it was written by an ancient person, from the perspective of modern people, it is a relatively easy-to-understand piece of poetry.

Of course, the most important thing is Ni Heng, who is crazy from head to toe, from inside to outside.

Even the words he wrote are full of the word "crazy"!

"I couldn't sleep anyway, so I read carefully for a long time before I could make out the words between the lines. The whole poem was written with one word - crazy!"

For no reason, Master Lu's classic quote popped up in Lu Bu's mind.

After writing the entire poem, Ni Heng's madness reached its peak.

His eyes, actions and words were wild, and he seemed to have entered a transcendent and insane state!

If Lu Bu had not recited his poems aloud, he would have gone crazy.

Hearing Lü Bu reciting his poem word for word, Ni Heng's eyes showed approval:
"You can recognize my cursive calligraphy, which shows that you have some real talent.

"Come, come, come and appreciate it with me!"

Lu Bu looked at Ni Heng and suddenly felt that this guy was not that difficult to understand.

He pondered for a moment and said slowly:

“You use objects to express your aspirations, likening yourself to a divine bird, which does not fly with common birds, nor soars in the universal forest.

“Although you have the same body as ordinary people, you have thoughts and minds that are superior to others!
“Like the king of birds, he cannot be compared with any other common birds, for they are not worthy.

"You don't want to be a vulgar bird, not afraid when being oppressed, not compliant when being flattered.

"But because he refused to obey the high officials, he was harmed and thus separated from his group and lost his companions.

“But you realize that no matter how superior your thoughts are to those of the world, you cannot change the life and death of others.

“I will also feel sad because of the death of my mother and wife…

“After they died, you felt more and more that there was no one in the world you could talk to.

"So you feel ashamed that sentient beings do not have talents that match yours.

“Hate for those who don’t deserve the name.

“Unfortunately, no one can understand the real reason for your arrogance, so you are often sad in secret.

“You have been looking for a place where you can truly display your talents and someone you are willing to work for.

"You are betting on which will come first, death or the wise master!"

After Lu Bu finished appreciating the poem, he put down the poem in his hand and suddenly understood why Ni Heng deliberately sought death.

Choose a wise master based on your destiny. You can continue your talent and ambition in the world while you are alive, and you can leave the world to accompany your wife and mother after you die...

He looked at Ni Heng again and suddenly found that the other person's eyes were red and tears were streaming down his face!
Lu Bu was shocked instantly.

I never thought that such an arrogant and conceited guy would look so sad!
At this moment, after listening to Lu Bu's interpretation of his poetry, Ni Heng was sure that the other party had very profound attainments in literature.

Most importantly, he saw that he was expressing his thoughts through objects and what was happening to him. He also saw the ultimate idea he wanted to express...

The ancients said: A man will die for his best friend, and a woman will dress up for the one who pleases her!

He originally thought that Kong Rong and Yang Xiu were the only two people in the world who were qualified to be his friends.

But from today on, this Marquis Lu Wen is the third person qualified to be his friend!

When Lu Bu saw Ni Heng staring at him, he wanted to pat him on the shoulder to comfort him.

But considering that this person is not an ordinary person, ordinary means of comfort may only have the opposite effect.

After a brief pause, Lu Bu spread out the Wenhou paper, picked up the brush, and borrowed the power of the "giant" to write another famous poem that has been passed down through the ages:

"In the autumn of the year Guiyou, on the 15th day of the seventh month, Marquis Wen met his friend outside the city of Xiapi.

"The breeze blows gently, and the tea leaves are not stirred. I pick up my pen to write to my friends, reciting poems about heaven and earth, and singing the verses of beautiful women.

"…it is as vast as riding the wind in the sky, and one does not know where it will stop; it is as light as being isolated from the world, and ascending to heaven…

"I paddle the laurel-lined oars and the orchid-lined paddles, striking the clear sky and following the flowing light. My thoughts are filled with longing, looking at the beauty in the sky...

"The mountains never tire of being high, the sea never tires of being deep. When Duke Zhou spits out food for his guests, the whole world will be at peace!

"The dragon dances in the deep valley, the widow weeps in the lonely boat... We are like mayflies in the universe, a grain of sand in the vast ocean.

“I lament the brevity of my life and envy the infinity of the Yangtze River.

"I will travel with the flying fairy, and embrace the bright moon forever. I know I can't get it all at once, so I leave my echo to the sad wind!"

After concisely adapting this "Red Cliff Fu", Lu Bu also breathed a sigh of relief.

He was very familiar with this poem.

Not only is it a must-memorize poem in high school, but it also has beautiful words and profound meaning, and its style is Su Shi's usual boldness!

It is much easier to memorize than "On the Qin Dynasty" and the like.

Of course, the original text of this poem contains some descriptive elements, which is not suitable for the current environment, so it needs to be adapted.

But the core of it is just right to persuade and shock Ni Heng at this moment!
Lu Bu raised his head and found that Ni Heng had been standing beside him at some point.

His expression was frozen, his eyes were wide open, he wasn't breathing, only his shrunken pupils were trembling slightly!

"I am just a grain of sand in the vast ocean... I mourn the brevity of my life... I embrace the bright moon and live forever..."

These words, like sharp arrows, constantly penetrated his arrogant heart and brought him shock like a storm!
If we say that Lu Bu's interpretation of his poetry just now made him regard the other party as a friend.

But now this poem suddenly made him realize that the other party's talent was far superior to his own!

Even Kong Rong, the 20th generation grandson of Confucius, and Yang Xiu, who also had three generations of officials.

Their ideas and talents were barely worthy of his approval.

But the nine-foot-tall warrior and rough-looking man in front of him could actually write such a poem that was enough to make him surrender!

Especially the sentence "Zhou Gong spits out food to feed his guests, and the people of the country are at peace" made him read the other party's sincerity and ambition!
After a long silence, Ni Heng replied with a trembling voice:

"What is the name of this poem?"

Lu Bu thought for a moment and replied with a smile:

"The Ode to Heng."

Ni Heng's pupils suddenly shrank, and the next moment, he suddenly fell to the ground and cried to Lu Bu:
“Heng originally thought that no one could be a wise leader in this life, so he sought death out of arrogance.

"However, your talent and generosity are unprecedented in my life!

“May God have mercy on me and let me meet a wise master before I die!

"If you don't give up, I'm willing to die for you!"
