However, when facing Lin Zhu, he felt only deep helplessness and fear.

Holding the God-Slaying Spear, Lin Zhu walked towards Yu Yixian with unhurried steps, just as he had done when he judged Yuan Shoucheng.

Yu Yixian was terrified and retreated step by step, shouting for help, hoping that Buddha, Master Ran Deng, or someone else would come to save him.

He was so terrified that he didn't even have the slightest intention to resist.

The three thousand Buddhas, Arhats, Vajras, Bodhisattvas, and Vidyarajas present at the scene were unusually "united" and all voiced their support for the Winged Immortal.

"Winged Immortal, don't be afraid, you are a powerful figure in our Buddhist sect, go and take revenge!"

"Yeah, don't be a coward, just do it!"

"Winged Fairy, keep going! Buddha has mercy and will protect you!"

However, these "supportive" Buddhas, while outwardly cheering for Yu Yixian, actually hoped he would stay away from them and avoid being implicated by Lin Zhu.

Everyone teased Yu Yixian, telling him to go and take revenge, but deep down they wished he would leave quickly so as not to implicate them.

Yu Yixian cursed inwardly, "These hypocritical bald monks!" Buddha Tathagata, seated in the head seat, was so angry his teeth ached, and he cursed inwardly as well.

He felt that Yu Yixian was blind, having beaten Lin Zhu's people and then running back. The Buddha was also weary, feeling he could no longer love, and even considered retiring early.

However, his only consolation was that he had the foresight to send Samantabhadra Bodhisattva to hunt down the Dragon King's ghost and force the Tang Emperor to submit.

As long as nothing goes wrong on the journey to the West, it doesn't matter who gets into trouble.

The Buddha advised Lin Zhu to take good care of himself, then closed his eyes and chanted Buddhist mantras to pray for the deceased Yuan Shoucheng.

However, Yuan Shoucheng's spirit has vanished, and any attempt to deliver it from suffering is futile.

When the three thousand Buddhas saw that the Tathagata Buddha had made preparations in advance to deliver the Winged Immortal from suffering, they all began chanting the Rebirth Mantra. It was unclear whether they were doing so to deliver Yuan Shoucheng or to prepare for the Winged Immortal's salvation.

When Yu Yixian saw this, his face turned green. He wasn't even dead yet, and he was already arranging the Rebirth Curse.

With nowhere left to retreat, Yu Yixian arrived at the edge of the Great Thunderclap Temple, where he was consumed by grief and despair.

He even considered surrendering, but then felt that surrendering meant losing half the battle, while not surrendering meant certain death.

Just as he was hesitating, an old man with long eyebrows and a slightly thin appearance suddenly appeared in the field and blocked Lin Zhu's way.

All the Buddhas who had been chanting happily immediately fell silent upon seeing this old Buddha appear, their expressions becoming solemn and respectful, and they bowed their heads in reverence. Even the Tathagata Buddha widened his eyes, quickly stopped chanting the Rebirth Mantra, and respectfully clasped his hands together.

The Winged Immortal was overjoyed and cried out.

"Master!"

Led by the Buddha, all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Vidyarajas bowed and chanted.

"We pay our respects to Dipankara Buddha!"

The one who appeared before Lin Zhu was none other than Dipankara Buddha, one of the Three Buddhas of the Past, Present, and Future!
His predecessor was the vice leader of the Chan Sect, the chief disciple of Yuanshi Tianzun, the teacher of the Twelve Immortals of Jade Void, and also the master of Li Jing and Yu Yixian, the third-generation disciples of the Chan Sect.

During the Investiture of the Gods, the Taoist Ran Deng displayed his prowess, defeating the Tongtian Saint of the Jie Sect in the Zhuxian Sword Formation.

After the Investiture of the Gods, he led Manjushri, Cihang Daoren, and other Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect to betray the Chan Sect and join the Western Sect. He used the Sea-Stabilizing Pearl to evolve the Twenty-Four Heavens and attained the Buddhahood of the Western Sect. He became the Lord of Ten Thousand Buddhas under the two Saints Jieyin and Zhunti of the Western Sect, and his fame was unparalleled.

The Dipankara Buddha holds great significance for the Western Paradise.

He led a large number of elites from the Chan Sect to join him, laying the foundation for the Three Great Masters, which is why the Western Paradise is so powerful today.

He was known as the "Head of Ten Thousand Buddhas and the Source of the Ancestral Buddhas," and even the Buddha himself had to respectfully address him as a "big shot."

Now, the Ancient Buddha Dipankara has finally taken action for the sake of his disciple, Yu Yixian.

Feathered Immortal quickly ran behind the Burning Lamp Buddha and screamed in terror.

"Master, save me!"

Lin Zhu watched the Burning Lamp Buddha warily, gripping the God-Slaying Spear tightly in his hand, the Heavenly Origin Demon Stone ready to be activated at any moment.

Although he had never met Dipankara Buddha, he had heard of him and knew that Dipankara Buddha's power far surpassed that of Tathagata Buddha.

Lin Zhu had made all the necessary assumptions in his mind, preparing for a fight to the death, but nothing happened.

The ancient Buddha Dipankara, who looked like a kind old man, disregarded his esteemed position as an ancient Buddha of the Western Paradise, put his hands together in prayer and spoke gently to Lin Zhu.

"Young friend Lin, I am the old monk Dipankara Buddha. Greetings. My unworthy disciple, Yu Yixian, has harmed your brothers. This is a grave mistake. As his master, I apologize to you on his behalf."

Lin Zhu raised an eyebrow, his heart filled with strange thoughts. The Ancient Buddha Dipankara had actually apologized to him? This was completely beyond his expectations.

Lin Zhu remained vigilant and said coldly.

"Dipankara Buddha, I am the God of Law Enforcement and Prisons of the Three Realms. Yu Yixian has robbed criminals, injured many of my subordinates, and fled to escape punishment. This violates the Heavenly Laws. How can I let him go?"

Dipankara Buddha gave a wry smile, indicating his willingness to apologize on behalf of his disciple.

The many Buddhas present were greatly alarmed and advised Dipankara Buddha to reconsider, criticizing Lin Zhu for his arrogance and recklessness, and for not encouraging his sins.

"Buddha, this child is extremely arrogant. We must not encourage his arrogance!"

"He openly killed someone in our Buddhist sanctuary; how can we let him off lightly?"

"Buddha, please think carefully! You must not bow down to this child!"

However, Dipankara Buddha sighed.

“This time, we were wrong. The wicked fool disregarded the heavenly laws, the Western Paradise protected criminals, and resisted law enforcement. It was indeed our fault.”

He took the initiative to admit his mistake and expressed his willingness to compensate for the lost item.

The Buddhas were completely dumbfounded, unable to believe that Dipankara Buddha would actually offer compensation.

Dipankara Buddha shook his head and sighed, criticizing the Buddhas for being deluded and blinded by arrogance, reminding them to be wary of arrogance in the Dharma.

"In Buddhism, we believe in the cycle of cause and effect, and that good and evil are rewarded accordingly. Young friend Lin is an enforcer of the law in the Three Realms, and we in the Western Paradise should cooperate with him, not protect criminals. How can you attain enlightenment with such arrogance?"

Upon hearing this, all the Buddhas quickly bowed their heads and respectfully agreed.

Seeing the Buddhas in this state, Dipankara Buddha sighed and shook his head, then turned to Lin Zhu and said...

"Young friend Lin, let's talk about compensation."

Without a second thought, Lin Zhu made an outrageous demand, requesting that the Nine-Story Heavenly Prison be equipped with 100,000 sets of top-grade immortal artifacts and 1 million sets of mid-grade immortal artifacts.

Upon hearing this, everyone exclaimed in surprise.

"One hundred thousand sets of top-grade immortal artifacts? Has he gone mad?"

"This is an absolute joke. Does he think our Western Paradise is a treasure trove?"

"They're asking for the moon's weight in the sky, they're insatiable!"

However, Dipankara Buddha did not even frown, and said in a gentle voice.

"Can!"

Lin Zhu felt something was off. Why was it given so easily? The amount of compensation was enough to cripple any top sect, yet the Ancient Buddha of Burning Lamp didn't even flinch. This was very unusual.

However, when Dipankara Buddha saw Lin Zhu's strange expression, he smiled slightly, as if he had seen through Lin Zhu's thoughts.

He said gently.

"Young friend Lin, please do not doubt this. This is merely a small token of our appreciation from the Western Paradise. Furthermore, these treasures are not all of them. We are also willing to compensate you with one hundred immortal pills, which can heal the injuries of your brothers and help them improve their cultivation."

Lin Zhu's expression became even more strange. Was this really not a joke? He suspected it was true.

Dipankara Buddha sighed and spoke to the Winged Immortal behind him.

"Winged Immortal, go to the Heavenly Court and personally deliver these treasures to Lin Xiaoyou's subordinates. Remember, you must apologize sincerely and not fail to observe the proper etiquette of the Western Paradise."

Although Yu Yixian felt very aggrieved, she still obediently listened to him.

He knew he had no choice; if his master hadn't intervened, he would be dead by now. When he took his leave, Dipankara Buddha gave him special instructions.

"Go, and sincerely apologize."

Yu Yixian could only leave dejectedly, and the Buddhas in the Great Thunderclap Temple were even more ashamed and extremely distressed upon seeing this.

They felt that the Western Paradise had completely lost face and even wanted the Winged Immortal to personally come and apologize.

The three thousand Buddhas felt extremely aggrieved and distressed.

They originally thought that becoming a Buddha or ancestor in the Western Paradise would be a very prestigious thing, but now they have been publicly humiliated by Lin Zhu and even made the Western Paradise pay them back with treasures.

The three thousand Buddhas looked as if they had lost their parents, their faces grim, staring intently at Lin Zhu.

If looks could kill, Lin Zhu would have been executed by slow slicing by now.

However, Lin Zhu didn't care at all. He coldly surveyed the three thousand Buddhas and even looked at Fudo Myoo provocatively, his tone full of disdain.

"Everyone here is garbage."

The three thousand Buddhas gritted their teeth in anger, each one eager to rush up and teach Lin Zhu a lesson.

However, Dipankara Buddha merely glanced around indifferently and said in a deep voice.

"Step back and cultivate diligently."

The three thousand Buddhas could only grit their teeth and take their leave.

Dipankara Buddha smiled at Lin Zhu and said.

"Young friend Lin, I will teach them a lesson later and show them what humility is."

Lin Zhu felt puzzled. What exactly was Dipankara Buddha up to? Then he thought about it. Dipankara Buddha was no ordinary person. Back then, he led a large number of people from the Chan Sect to join the Western Sect and correctly bet on the prosperity of the Western Sect.

Lin Zhu felt that as long as there was no open conflict, who cared about playing mind games?

So he grinned and suggested discussing the issue of compensation for emotional distress in prison further.

“Dipankara Buddha, look, my brothers have suffered such a great injustice this time. Shouldn’t you also compensate them for their mental anguish?”

Lin Zhu said with a smile.

Dipankara Buddha shook his head in refusal and said gently.

"Young friend Lin, one should be content with what one has and not try to raise prices on the spot."

Lin Zhu waved his hand, looking sad.

“Dipankara Buddha, you are wrong. We in the Heavenly Prison are poor, unlike you in the Western Paradise who are rich and powerful. This time, my brothers were injured, and as the leader, I feel bad about it too.”

Dipankara Buddha's lips twitched, but he still smiled faintly.

"Let's leave this matter here. Young friend Lin, would you do me the honor of having tea with this old monk and discussing the true path and Buddhism?"

However, Lin Zhu's eyes turned cold, she refused the invitation, and turned to leave.

His purpose has been achieved.

Kill Yuan Shoucheng and have Yu Yixian come to apologize.

He doesn't need to stay here any longer and cause himself unnecessary trouble.

When Dipankara Buddha saw Lin Zhu turn around and leave, he shouted.

"Young friend Lin, don't be in such a hurry to leave!"

But Lin Zhu has vanished without a trace.

Dipankara Buddha narrowed his eyes slightly and sighed.

"What an extraordinary person! However, he seems to have a special connection with my Western Paradise."

His figure gradually appeared taller, even exuding an air of arrogance that looked down upon all living beings.

While Lin Zhu and the people from the Western Paradise were having a "friendly exchange" on Mount Ling, in Chang'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty in the Southern Continent, Emperor Taizong of Tang was taking a stroll outside the palace gates, enjoying the moonlight and the shade of flowers.

Above the sky, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva was already holding the true dragon ghost, watching intently.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, acting on the orders of the Buddha, rushed on his journey with all his might. After casually snatching the primordial spirit of a dragon king from the Wei River, he arrived in Chang'an even faster than Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Guanyin Bodhisattva was delayed because she was ordered to go to Liusha River, Gao Village, and Wuzhi Mountain to check on her four fellow disciples on their journey to the West to see if anything was wrong.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva quietly entered Chang'an City, and even the city god outside did not notice her presence.

She calculated with her fingers and knew the time was almost right, so she coldly spoke to the Dragon King of the Wei River beside her.

"Dragon King of the Wei River, remember what I told you: if there is even the slightest mistake, your entire family will be reunited in the eighteenth level of hell! Do you understand?"

The Dragon King of the Wei River nodded in agreement with a bitter expression on his face.

The Dragon King of the Wei River originally wanted to get closer to the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, but instead ran into the line of fire.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva threatened the Dragon King of the Wei River, forcing him to plead with the Tang Emperor for mercy, or else he would throw his entire family, including all the shrimp soldiers and crab generals of the Wei River, into the eighteenth level of hell.

Left with no other choice, the Dragon King of the Wei River had to obediently accept the arrangement.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva urged the Dragon King of the Wei River to go, while he himself used his magic to resist the aura of the Human Emperor.

Although she was a Great Golden Immortal, she still seemed somewhat powerless to withstand the aura of the Human Emperor on her own.

The Dragon King of the Wei River descended from the clouds and entered Chang'an City, where he easily encountered Li Shimin, who was strolling leisurely.

He transformed into a human form, knelt down, and shouted loudly.

"Your Majesty, save me! Save me!"

When the Tang King saw the appearance of the Dragon King of the Wei River, he was greatly alarmed. How could anyone so easily break into the forbidden area of the royal palace? Suddenly, the Tang King remembered what Lin Zhu had said last time, and he instantly understood.

He knew he couldn't possibly defeat an immortal, so he could only feign compliance for now.

The Tang emperor coldly asked the Dragon King of the Wei River.

"Who are you? Why should I save you?"

Following the instructions of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, the Dragon King of the Wei River quickly pleaded for mercy.

"Your Majesty, I am the Dragon King of the Wei River. I have violated the Heavenly Laws and am about to be executed. Your Majesty only needs to say a word to save my life. I beg Your Majesty to consider the long-standing friendship between me and the people of the Tang Dynasty and spare my life!"

However, the Tang King looked at the Wei River Dragon King with disgust and roared angrily.

"You have violated the heavenly laws and deserve your punishment. How dare you try to plead for mercy? Don't you know that the might of Heaven is overwhelming? A country has its laws, and Heaven has its rules. Neither Yin nor Yang can be violated!"

The Tang Emperor coldly stared at the Dragon King of the Wei River, drew his sword from his waist, and angrily pointed it at the Dragon King.

"You've violated the heavenly laws and still dare to threaten me into saving you? You're dreaming!"

The Tang king's angry shouts, like the resounding tolling of a great bell, echoed throughout the palace.

In an instant, the palace guards and elite troops all rushed towards the Tang King.

The Dragon King of the Wei River trembled with fear, grabbed the Tang King by the collar, and asked in utter shame and anger.

"You could have saved my life with just a simple gesture, why didn't you!"

The Tang King remained calm and composed, coldly looking at the Dragon King of the Wei River, and said.

"Only the innocent can live in peace. You have violated the heavenly laws and yet you dare to expect me to save you. Get out of here!"

The Dragon King of the Wei River, utterly helpless, saw the palace guards surrounding him and quickly turned to leave, leaving only a single sentence behind. (End of Chapter)
