Chapter 97 Boss Battle

Chapter 97: Instance Boss Battle (Part )

June 6, 24pm, Hongge Amusement Park.

The large animal doll standing at the door had cracks in its eye sockets and corners of its mouth due to the wear and tear of time, making it look particularly creepy.

The five people walked past the animal dolls and entered the amusement park. The park was too quiet, like a forgotten forest, damp and gloomy, and every amusement facility was covered with traces of rust.

Fortunately, it was daytime and the five players were traveling together, so they were not overly affected by the gloomy environment.

Ke Mingye put his hands into the pockets of his jumpsuit and took the lead to walk forward, gradually approaching the pirate ship that was suspended under the swing arm by layers of brackets.

This "pirate ship" is long and narrow in shape, with pointed ends.

The hull is dotted with retro decorations everywhere. Whether it is the tattered sails, the dark brown side of the ship, the black pirate flag, or the broken skull pattern on the flag, they are all trying their best to replicate the appearance of a medieval pirate ship.

Ke Mingye raised his head and said, "I played this when I was a kid and it scared me to death."

"Hehe, it's better than Mr. Paranoia," the Paranoia behind him sneered, "I won't even blink when playing with this kind of thing."

He didn't have his face bandaged today, but he was still wearing a black hooded jacket and black pants. His face was thin and pale, and his overgrown black hair was tied into a ponytail and fell behind his head.

Not to mention, the weird guy is quite handsome when he's not doing anything weird. He would be perfect if you just taped his mouth.

“Only elementary school students play this.”

Qing Meng said casually, her light blue twin ponytails swaying in the cold wind.

"Aren't these two just elementary school students?" Fanquan commented sharply.

"Well, actually I'm also an elementary school student." Qing Meng's eyes stopped in front of a carousel and said frankly, "It's fun, I love to play."

"If you like to chat, chat more now. You won't be able to chat anymore if you get beaten to a pulp in the dungeon later." Cai Bing said while holding a lollipop in his mouth and playing with his phone with his head down.

While chatting, they approached the "Pirate Ship" amusement facility, checked each other's eyes, reached a consensus, and reached out to touch the panel.

The moment five hands pressed down on the copy panel, all the supports of the swing arm shattered, as if the gears of a huge machine suddenly derailed.

Then, like a devil freed from its chains, the pirate ship was gradually enveloped by a layer of hazy blue ghost lights. The outline of the ship was sometimes clear, sometimes blurry. A faint pirate song came from the sky, as if a demon was grinding its teeth and sucking blood.

The huge swing arm and support fell to the ground together, splashing out billowing smoke and dust.

As the ghost ship rose into the sky, sixteen eerie figures appeared from the side, looking down at the five players on the ground.

Under the blazing sun at noon, their faces were shrouded in shadow, but one could see the faint fire burning in their eyes.

[The total number of players participating in this dungeon is: 5 people - Failed Man, Anti-Dog, Cut Ice, Paranoid, and Unexplainable Dream. ]

[This crusade dungeon has officially begun. Please do whatever it takes to defeat the boss in the dungeon - the ghost pirate captain - Glivar Chris.]

Ke Mingye stared at the pirate captain standing on the side. He was tall, about two meters and five meters tall from a distance, and stood out among the pirates.

[Instance Boss Name: Ghost Pirate Captain Glivar Chris]

[Dungeon Boss Level: Lv8]

[Introduction to Dungeon Boss:

After a horrific shipwreck, Glivar Chris lost his entire crew and his right eye.

Tormented by loneliness and illness, Gliwa was surrounded by the death and failure that he witnessed like thorns.

He spent his days in a daze, gradually losing hope in the world amid broken wine bottles and evaporating marijuana.

It's like a puppet that has lost its soul and cannot rise again.

One evening, the ragged Gliwa woke up on the street. He knelt on the ground with his body hunched over, looking up at the huge sun.

I recall the sunset I saw with the fifteen crew members on the vast ocean.

They sang rough pirate songs loudly, watching the sunset slowly fall from the horizon, and the whole sea returned to calm.

That was the most beautiful sunset that Gliwa had ever seen in his life.

When he came to his senses, he found his eyes were wet with tears. He knelt down on the street and kowtowed to the setting sun on the horizon over and over again.

If I still can't wake up from this nightmare after the hundredth kowtow, I will end my life, Gliwa thought. The pedestrians on the street laughed at the homeless vagrant, but were also horrified by his kowtow to the setting sun over and over again.

The scene seemed like some kind of solemn religious ceremony, which made people stop and watch unconsciously.

When he kowtowed for the hundredth time, Gliwa raised his bloodstained forehead in bewilderment and looked into the distance at the sky which had completely darkened. The setting sun took away the last ray of afterglow from the earth, and the world went dark.

He looked around, the streets were gray, as if mocking him, miracles would never happen. The blood flowing from his forehead dyed his eyes red.

Glivar Chris was devastated.

With his head lowered and his eyes empty, he picked up the wine bottle scattered on the ground and smashed it. He picked up one of the fragments and pointed the sharp end at his neck.

Just as he was about to end his life, a strange voice came from the dim lights: "Buy me, and I will take you back to that ocean."

Gliwa was stunned for a long time, then slowly turned his head to look at the pet shop on the right. There was a parrot with rainbow-like beautiful feathers standing in a cage, staring at him motionlessly.

"Are you talking to me?" Glivar asked.

"Buy me and I will grant your wish."

Legend has it that on that night, Gliwa encountered a legendary creature.

In the following month, Gliwa returned alone to the most dangerous waters in the world with a bird and his only remaining eye, and survived.

When he came back, he brought back fifteen of his former comrades-in-arms. They had never died, but had drifted to a nearby deserted island.

Every pirate knew what happened next, and Glivar Chris became an insurmountable legend on the sea.

He started from scratch with nothing and made a comeback. In just half a year, Gliwa's pirate group became the overlord of the ocean.

They called themselves the "Ghost Pirates", meaning that every crew member was a person who came out of hell, especially their captain, Glivar Chris.

A hundred years later, all the crew members were reduced to skeletons and buried in the ground due to the wear and tear of time.

But there is still such a rumor on the sea that a lonely parrot summoned sixteen dead souls from the underground, sixteen old friends, and their legend has not ended to this day. 】

"It looks like it's going to be difficult to fight." Ke Mingye directly predicted the outcome.

"The key is the parrot." Fanquan said, "Kill the parrot on the captain's shoulder, and this pirate ship and the sixteen pirates will disappear together."

Ke Mingye turned his head and looked at him: "How can you be so sure? Didn't you say you haven't played this instance before?"

"I haven't fought him." Fanquan answered, "But you can tell from the background story that the boss's name is just a cover-up."

"It's similar to the previous copy." Ke Mingye said.

"Anyway, just shoot that parrot?"

As he spoke, Qing Meng took out a Thompson submachine gun from his schoolbag, then raised his eyes and locked his gaze on the colorful parrot on the captain's shoulder.

"If I'm not mistaken, it should be like this." Fanquan said calmly.

"It's time to transform, you weird man, you're not going to shut up, are you?" Cai Bing put away his phone and glanced at the paranoid man beside him.

"You don't even need to tell me that." Paranoia snorted, took out a blood-red knife from his pocket, licked it, and said, "-Magical girl, transform!"

As soon as he finished speaking, his body was instantly covered by a layer of cocoon light.

Paranoia smiled coldly, lifted up his hair with both hands, and then the layer of cocoon light shattered, and a magical girl holding a huge sickle appeared.

Magical girl Hongyue raised her eyes from her hair and curled her lips in contempt: "Why don't you just go idle? I can crush them all by myself."

"Shut up, you weird guy, don't let it affect my fighting spirit."

As he spoke, Ke Mingye took out his "electromagnetic pulse gloves" from his bag. With a metallic clicking sound, the silver-white gloves with a strong metallic texture were embedded on the surface of his right hand.

As soon as the words were spoken, the battle was about to break out.

All the guns installed on the floating ghost ship were aimed at the five people on land. The next moment, accompanied by a roar that tore through the sky, an overwhelming barrage of bullets fell!
