Warhammer: Hail to the Void Lords!.
Chapter 871 08870: You all, let's go together.
Chapter 871, page 08.870: "All of you, come at me together."
Just as the alien monster pierced through the steel plate of the wall and its claws were about to touch the judge, his iron fist, covered in terracotta, swung out with overwhelming force.
Boom!
With a dull thud, as if bones and metal were denting together, the ugly monster was slammed back into the hole it had created, crashing against the rear bulkhead before slumping to the ground.
Brother Nasser, clad in the "Iron Cavalry" Terminator tactical armor, immediately stepped forward, his massive body forming a mobile fortress that firmly protected the Inquisitor behind him.
Protecting the God-Emperor's agents is also the inescapable responsibility of the Death Watchers.
The blinding beam of light from the searchlight on his shoulder instantly pierced the darkness of the officers' lounge, completely exposing the hideous appearance of the blue monster to everyone.
It was a deformed creature with a short, fat body, and a row of striking, sharp bone spurs protruding from its hunched back.
But what is most terrifying is its enormous head, which is almost half the size of its entire body.
Its face had no eyes, only two deep, ugly eye sockets. Below the eye sockets were four enormous nostrils that constantly opened and closed, greedily sniffing the scents in the air.
Thick, purplish-red blood flowed from two of the nostrils, but this did not seem to diminish it; instead, it put the creature into an even more excited state.
It struggled to sit up, put on all fours, and assumed a poised posture ready to pounce.
It's hard to imagine how such an ugly creature could tear open a 30-centimeter-thick ship's bulkhead with just its thin arms.
But the monks of Deathwatch were not complacent in the slightest—any unknown alien in the galaxy posed a deadly danger, and underestimation was a fatal weakness they had long since abandoned.
“This is…” Tei frowned, warily examining the strange creature before her, her mind rapidly searching through the alien database.
This creature is extremely rare. She vaguely remembered seeing similar images in her mentor's forbidden archives.
They seem to have come from a dark Eldar city called Shadum, though the records are vague, one thing is certain.
"Watch out! It has psionic attacks!"
Before Thee's warning could be fully uttered, the strange creature known as "Ugul" had already gathered enough power and suddenly opened its massive jaws filled with sharp teeth.
It emitted not a sound, but a ring of mental ripples radiating an ominous purple light.
Wherever the ripples passed, the air seemed to boil and twist violently, displaying shimmering light.
The monks reacted tactically in an instant—Brother Nasser, clad in Terminator armor, crossed his arms, his massive body taking the brunt of the unknown shockwave head-on to provide cover for his teammates.
The Pirus, whose arms were covered in bone spurs, grabbed the Inquisitor and dragged her behind a sturdy shelter.
Brother Derek, wielding a specially made explosive gun, instantly rolled to the side and pulled the trigger at the monster in mid-air.
However, the silver explosive projectile was blocked by the invisible mental ripples in mid-air, losing all its kinetic energy, and fell to the ground with a "thud".
"Die in the name of the Emperor! Alien!" Brother Lionas seized the moment when the Terminator drew fire, and his jetpack suddenly activated, emitting a short but powerful roar.
He transformed into a black lightning bolt, wielding a buzzing thunder hammer, and lunged at the monster through the air.
Boom!
A punitive blow came from the sky.
The little monster tried to leap to the side, but it was a beat too slow.
Its left hand was struck precisely by the lightning hammer, and the violent energy field instantly shattered and dented its entire arm along with the steel deck below, with cracks spreading out like a spider web.
The monster raised its ugly head and let out an extremely shrill and ear-piercing scream at Brother Lionas, who was standing close by, tormenting Brother Lionas's eardrums.
A wave of dizziness, accompanied by excruciating pain as if his blood vessels were about to burst, surged into Leonardo's mind.
"Ugh!" He clutched his helmet with one hand, enduring the excruciating pain that felt like it was tearing his skull apart, and swung his thunder hammer at the monster in front of him again. But his attack missed.
The world before him began to spin, and he felt as if he were in a wildly spinning vortex, on the verge of losing consciousness.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the ugly little monster limped towards another door in the lounge—the door leading to the outside passage.
With its only remaining hand, it pressed the open button next to the door.
scoff-
The door slid open with a hissing sound.
They, who was hiding behind Brother Pirus, gasped.
Outside the door stood a large group of aliens—from members of the Dark Eldar conspiracy group clad in armor with sharp blades to alien mercenaries writhing with serpentine bodies, and so on.
Beneath their feet lay a carpet of flesh and blood, made up of the severed limbs of human sailors.
The ripped intestines, soaking in a pool of thick blood, were still convulsing and pushing against an eyeball that had fallen from the severed skull.
"Thank you for your hard work, Your Excellency's little pet." A squad leader from the conspiracy group picked up Ugur, who was bleeding from the nose and pointing at the black-armored warriors with his claws, making constant hissing noises as if he were complaining, and said in a sarcastic tone while gently stroking him.
Then, it raised its head and glared at the black-armored warriors in front of it with a malicious look.
He noticed the warriors' unusually large physiques and the distinctive silver shoulder armor on their left shoulders.
As a pirate who had roamed the void for hundreds of years, it certainly recognized these genetically modified human warriors, but it clearly did not realize what those unique silver shoulder armors represented.
"Tear them apart," the squad leader coldly ordered. The conspirators beside him immediately let out excited screams, wielding their curved twin swords, and charged towards the still swaying Brother Leonas.
“Watch out! Brother Leonas!” They shouted.
But being hit by such a close-range psychic shock, Leonardos was still in a dizzying sensory hell.
An illusion began to slowly emerge before his eyes—an endless, boundless expanse of crimson…
"Gah gah!" The ugly little blue monster took the lead, charging ahead with a nasty and disgusting scream. After sprinting close enough, it suddenly leaped up and pounced straight at Brother Lionas's face.
It wanted to tear the man who had wounded it, along with his head, to shreds.
Click! Sizzle—
With a soft click as the airtight lock was released, Brother Leonas abruptly removed his helmet.
A cascade of long, flowing silver hair slid down from his chest, tracing the exquisitely carved imperial eagle on his chest, gently caressing the four large characters engraved in High Gothic: "Peerless Knight".
Snapped!
Brother Leonardos moved with such speed that he left afterimages as he suddenly raised his hand and grabbed the little blue monster's head in mid-air, as if catching a tossed ball.
It screamed and struggled wildly in his palm, its sharp teeth biting tightly into his ceramic steel finger guards, making a grating "crunching" sound, and even causing cracks to appear on the sturdy ceramic steel surface.
boom!
"Ha!" With a suppressed roar, Brother Lionas's other hand transformed into a chopstick, instantly piercing through the monster's hideous forehead. Then, his terracotta-covered hands grabbed the monster's upper and lower jaws, tearing them apart violently!
Swish!
In front of all the Conspiracy Knights, Brother Lionas tore the small monster, which could bite through terracotta, in two with his bare hands, along with its body.
From the bloated stomach came the undigested bones and flesh of more than a dozen victims.
Brother Lionas slowly raised his head. His handsome, almost superhuman face was framed by eyes that radiated a terrifying, blood-red light, the whites of his eyes completely stained crimson. His long, silver hair swayed gently in the airflow from the ventilation ducts.
He raised his thunderhammer, pointing it at the assembled warriors of the Conspiracy Clan who stood frozen in terror at the sight of the carnage. He opened his mouth, revealing two pairs of vampire-like fangs to the Dark Eldar, and spoke in a clear, cold, and unquestionable tone:
"You guys, come together."
