Ultraman: It turns out this is the easy mode.

Chapter 1110 Crow People: Oh no! The other side knows us!

"Seriously, they even fight while trying to sleep."

The next morning, sunlight streamed into the room through the gaps in the curtains. Cui Ming sat bolt upright in bed, rubbing his throbbing temples. His complexion wasn't good. The exhilarating yet exhausting battle of light with Empera in the dream world last night had left his body feeling fatigued in reality. He felt sluggish and unwell, far less energetic than usual.

The main reason was... Just thinking about how Ampera had taken advantage of him last night, Cui Ming couldn't help but grind his teeth. "Damn Ampera. That guy has absolutely no shame." He cursed under his breath, his tone full of helplessness and frustrated anger. He was the one who entered the dream world first, but he was relentlessly entangled by Ampera, going head-to-head through battle after battle, without even a chance to catch his breath. And to make matters worse, this guy's strength was on par with his own, making it impossible to finish the fight quickly.

“Oh well, there’s no way around it,” Cui Ming sighed. He knew Apera’s battle-crazed nature all too well; once she got her hands on an opponent, she wouldn’t let go easily, and there was no point in agonizing over it. He turned his head and looked at Lin, who was still fast asleep beside him. The girl’s brows were slightly relaxed, and her breathing was even; she was clearly unaffected by the turmoil of last night’s dream world. Cui Ming moved quietly, carefully lifted the covers, and got up, tiptoeing out of the bedroom—since he was awake, he might as well make breakfast to calm his agitated mood.

Walking down the hallway to the kitchen, Cui Ming was still grumbling to himself: Can't people just get a good night's sleep every day? How long has that guy, Ampera, been holding back, that he's now so shameless, risking everything to have a good fight? The more he thought about it, the angrier he became, as if a fire was burning inside his chest, desperately needing to find a place to vent.

"Perfect. I want to kill a few invaders to have some fun!" Cui Ming's eyes sharpened, and his tone turned cold. For him, nothing was more stress-relieving than dealing with a few clueless cosmic invaders. It solved the problem and vented his anger at the same time—a win-win situation.

As if hearing his thoughts, the communicator on his wrist suddenly lit up, transmitting a message from Kaina: the space defense satellite had just prepared something for Cui Ming to "have some fun".

The invaders this time are the Lebik, from the P413 nebula. Because of their crow-like appearance and constant cawing, they are commonly known as the Crow People on Earth. This is a large group, and their purpose in coming to Earth in such a large-scale attack is not complicated—their home planet is facing the threat of extinction for its slave population and they urgently need to replenish their labor force. Earthlings have become their chosen target.

Cui Ming was no stranger to this race; he had dealt with the Lebik aliens back in the Ultra Universe. This race had a very clear hierarchy. The most common were the soldiers with orange eyes, who had no independent will and only obeyed their leader's commands. The leader, however, was clearly different from the ordinary soldiers. Not only did he have sharp red eyes, but he could also accurately understand human language and even communicate fluently in the local language. His intelligence and combat power far surpassed his subordinates.

The Lebik aliens' attire is highly distinctive. They all wear well-tailored black suits paired with black leather shoes, their meticulous appearance creating a strange contrast with their ferocious nature. The leader, however, is even more distinctive. In addition to his suit, he wears a black cloak and heavy leather boots. As he walks, the cloak flutters in the wind, exuding a gloomy and oppressive aura.

What concerned Cui Ming most was the "demonic mind" of the Lebik alien leader—a mind solely focused on his own convenience and interests, completely indifferent to the survival of other beings. The plan to hunt Earthlings en masse and enslave them on their home planet was a product of this demonic mind. Even more troublesome was the fact that the leader's mind possessed a special ability known as "enslavement radar." Despite its name, it was essentially a precise biological detection capability, able to traverse interstellar space and accurately pinpoint the planets and specific locations of beings suitable for enslavement. This was the key to their accurate location of Earth.

In addition, the Lebik alien leader's physical structure is also extremely advantageous. His heart, known as the "Crow Heart," is incredibly resilient, maintaining a regular heartbeat even during intense physical activity, without faltering due to exhaustion. His hands have five fingers as flexible as humans, yet their strength far surpasses that of ordinary people; he once easily lifted Ultraman Tiga. Even more terrifying, the tips of his fingers have sharp, sword-like "blade claws," sharp enough to tear apart even the hardest diamonds with a single blow. His explosive power in his feet is also astonishing; he can not only perform super-high jumps of 100 meters but also run at Mach 1, maximizing his mobility.

The most troublesome aspect of the Lebik aliens is their shrinking gun technology. All members of the Crow People carry specially designed miniaturized containers connected to shrinking guns. These guns fire precise shrinking beams, reducing humans to about 10 centimeters in size, and then using the suction force of the beams to pull the shrunken humans into the guns. Currently, they have launched capture operations in multiple regions of Earth, and many humans have been abducted.

However, Cui Ming did discover the shortcomings of this technology: "Wouldn't it be better if they captured monsters as subordinates?" Obviously, the range of this shrinking light is limited, and it seems to only work on small creatures like humans, but has no effect on giant creatures like monsters. Otherwise, given the ambition of the Lebik aliens, they would have captured some powerful monsters as subordinates long ago, instead of only targeting humans.

Besides the shrinking gun, the Lebik alien leader possesses another powerful attack method—eye beams. His red eyes can be used not only for communication and detection, but also to gather energy and fire powerful red destructive beams, the destructive force of which should not be underestimated.

Fortunately, Kaina had already detected the Lebik aliens' movements through the space defense satellites and immediately sent a warning to Cui Ming. She had also mobilized defense forces to intercept the Crow alien fleet. Thanks to Kaina's timely response, the Crow aliens suffered heavy losses in the interception battle before they even officially reached Earth's atmosphere, significantly weakening their strength.

After reading the detailed information sent by Kaina, Cui Ming's previously agitated mood calmed down considerably, replaced by a fighting spirit eager to try. He walked to the kitchen doorway, a cold smile curling at the corner of his mouth: "Perfect, I'll use you all to wake me up."

In outer space, several space defense satellites near Earth's orbit had already entered combat readiness. The energy patterns on their metallic shells glowed with a ghostly blue light, like the eyes of a lurking beast. Each satellite was equipped with dozens of heavy particle cannons, their muzzles aimed at the approaching Raven fleet at high speed. The cannons emitted a piercing hum as they preheated, and energy fluctuations spread through the vacuum environment.

Kaina's virtual control image hovered in front of the main defense satellite's control console. The girl's eyes sparkled, her face flushed with excitement, her hands flying across the virtual keyboard, her fingertips scattering streaks of blue light. "Finally, it's my turn to show off!" she exclaimed, a smile playing on her lips, her voice brimming with barely suppressed excitement. Her gaze was fixed on the dense array of Ravenfolk spaceship signals on the screen. "Dare to cause trouble on Earth? I'll show you the power of this defense satellite!"

"Launch! Launch! Launch! All of them! Hahahaha!" With an excited shout, Kaina pressed the red launch button on the virtual control panel. Instantly, all the defense satellites fired simultaneously, dozens of dazzling blue particle beams piercing the darkness of the universe like thunderclaps, precisely aimed at the Raven Fleet. Wherever the beams passed, the vacuum environment was temporarily ionized, leaving behind dazzling trails.

"Boom—Boom—Boom—" A series of deafening roars echoed through the universe (through energy conduction into the spaceships). The first wave of particle beams struck the leading reconnaissance ships of the Ravenman fleet directly. The outer shells of those ships instantly melted under the bombardment of the particle beams, followed by violent explosions, turning into dazzling but deadly bursts of fire. Debris scattered throughout the universe, and many pieces even collided with ships behind them, triggering a chain reaction.

"What's going on?! An ambush?!" Inside the command ship of the Crowman fleet, the leader's red eyes were fixed on the radar screen, where the dots representing their own ships were disappearing rapidly. His tone was filled with disbelief and rage.

A crow-man soldier with orange eyes turned around in a panic and shouted in a hoarse voice, "Chief! It's Earth's space defense weapon! It's too powerful, our shields can't withstand it at all!" As soon as he finished speaking, the command ship trembled violently, the energy shield on the outer shell of the ship flickered a few times, and the light dimmed by more than half in an instant.

"Useless! What's the panic!" the leader roared, but the panic in its eyes was unmistakable. It lunged at the control panel, personally maneuvering the ship to evade the attack, while shouting into the communicator: "All fleet, scatter! Activate maximum energy shields! Counterattack! Counterattack!"

The Crowman fleet's ships began to scatter and evade, simultaneously turning their cannons to fire beams of dark red energy at the defense satellite. However, their attacks were like eggs hitting a rock; the beams dissipated instantly upon impact with the shield, failing to even create a ripple.

"Useless, useless!" Kaina laughed even more as she watched the easily intercepted Raven attacks on the screen. Her hands moved rapidly across the control panel again. "Let me show you what a saturation attack looks like! Adjust the muzzle angle and lock onto all escaping targets!" The defense satellite's cannons rotated accordingly, and the blue particle beams, like homing missiles, locked onto the Raven ships that were trying to scatter and escape.

Another wave of particle beams was fired, this time with even greater density, like a vast blue net that completely enveloped the Raven fleet. More Raven ships were hit, and the explosions created a continuous burst of fire across space, instantly turning the once orderly fleet into chaos.

"No—impossible! When did Earth develop this kind of firepower?!" A Raven soldier stared at his own spaceship exploding outside the window, his voice filled with despair, his body trembling uncontrollably. He had originally thought Earth was just an undefended "ranch" where humans could be easily abducted and enslaved, but the defensive firepower before him was simply beyond his comprehension.

"These damned Earthlings! They've been hiding such immense power!" The leader's face turned incredibly grim, its red eyes bloodshot. It knew perfectly well that if things continued like this, the entire fleet would be destroyed here. Gritting its teeth, it made a difficult decision: "Abandon some ships, concentrate energy to cover the main battleship's breakout! Target: Earth's atmosphere. Once inside Earth, we can launch our capture operation!"

“Chief, but…” A soldier tried to say something more, but was interrupted by the chief’s fierce gaze.

"No buts! Follow orders!" the leader roared. "Break through or be wiped out! The choice is yours!"

Left with no other option, the remaining Raven ships concentrated their energy, transferring all their shields around several capital ships. They also sacrificed over a dozen smaller ships as bait, charging towards the defensive satellite. As they approached the satellite, these smaller ships deliberately self-destructed, attempting to disrupt the satellite's attack with the shockwaves from the explosions.

"Oh? Trying to break through? Not so easy!" Kaina's eyes narrowed, and she immediately manipulated the defense satellite to adjust the attack strategy. "Lock onto those capital ships! Increase energy output!" The blue particle beam intensified again and shot towards the Raven people's capital ships.

"Boom!" A beam of particle energy struck the shield of a capital ship, causing it to flicker violently, its light almost extinguished. But at that moment, the other capital ships seized the opportunity, accelerating sharply and hurtling towards Earth's atmosphere.

"Damn it! Several of them got away!" Kaina frowned, stomped her foot in frustration, and continued to control the defense satellite in pursuit, destroying another capital ship that was trying to break through. But in the end, three of the Raven Crow's capital ships successfully broke through the defense satellite's firepower and plunged into Earth's atmosphere.

"Hoo..." Kaina stopped operating, took a light breath, her face still flushed with excitement, but with a hint of regret. "Although three of them got away, it's still a great victory!" She immediately pulled up her communicator and sent a message to Cui Ming: "Cui Ming, interception mission complete. Three Crow People's main warships have entered Earth and are currently crashing towards East Asia!"

At this moment on Earth, above a certain city, three black figures pierced through the clouds, plummeting towards the ground with a piercing whistling sound. The spaceships caused a violent tremor upon impact, billowing smoke and dust, shattering windows in surrounding buildings, and causing pedestrians to scatter in terror.

The leader of the Crow People stepped out of the spaceship, dusted himself off, and scanned the surroundings with his red eyes. His voice was chilling as he said, "Earth...we've arrived. Even if we suffer heavy losses, we will enslave the humans here!" The orange-eyed soldiers around him also emerged from the spaceship, drawing their shrinking guns and glaring fiercely at the fleeing humans.

Meanwhile, Cui Ming had already received Kaina's message, and casually placed the breakfast he had just prepared on the table. His eyes turned cold, and the light energy around him began to gather. "Three ships escaped? Perfect, saves me the trouble of searching for you in space." Before he finished speaking, his figure had already disappeared from the spot, speeding towards the direction where the Ravenman spaceship had crashed. (End of this chapter)
