Ultraman: It turns out this is the easy mode.

Chapter 723 Not Bewitched by Power

On Earth, Eleking, who was being suppressed by Ultraman Seven, suddenly froze. There was some mysterious spiritual connection between it and Geronimon. Just as Geronimon was being obliterated by End Vulgar, controlled by Cui Ming, on the far side of the moon, a bone-chilling cold shot up from its spine to the top of its head, almost causing it to collapse to the ground.

Ultraman Seven seized the opportunity, gathering the energy of the Emerium Ray in his hands, a blinding light constantly converging at his fingertips. Reborn Eleking looked up in terror, staring into Seven's eyes burning with rage, finally realizing that it was unlikely to escape today. The reason Seven hadn't killed it wasn't because he couldn't destroy it, but because he wanted to make it pay for destroying the village and harming the villagers, to make it repent for its evil deeds in the most cruel way.

"Boom!" The Emerium Ray, like a silver bolt of lightning, struck Regenerating Eleking squarely in the chest. The powerful impact knocked Regenerating Eleking to the ground, carving a deep trench a hundred meters long. However, thanks to its tenacious regenerative abilities, the charred wounds on its body began to wriggle and heal. Seven snorted coldly, crossed his arms, and an ice axe sprang from his wrists, gleaming with a cold light. He flashed, appearing above Regenerating Eleking like a ghost, and brought the ice axe down fiercely.

Regenerated Eleking let out a piercing scream, finally abandoning all hope of escape, frantically twisting its body in an attempt to flee. But Seven wouldn't let it succeed. With ample energy provided by Triumph, Ultraman Seven was full of stamina, growing stronger with each battle. He constantly changed his attack methods: flying kicks, punches, head-slinging slashes—each attack carrying the power to destroy everything. Regenerated Eleking's wounds multiplied, and its regeneration speed gradually couldn't keep up with the rate of injury, its blood staining the surrounding earth red.

As Seven attacked, he recalled the injured villagers—the children's cries of pain, the despair in the old people's eyes—each scene fueling his rage. He wanted to show Reborn Eleking that harming the innocent would be met with the harshest punishment.

"Damn it, I'm so annoyed." Kaina gritted her teeth, pacing back and forth in her consciousness space, surrounded by an aura of resentment. Her signature twin ponytails swayed wildly with her movements, like two burning flames, but they could not dispel the gloom in her heart at this moment.

She watched helplessly as the End of the World, Vulga, stood majestically on the far side of the moon, her heart filled with resentment. Vulga's imposing figure, each step seemingly capable of shaking the universe, was undoubtedly a declaration of its deep and unshakeable bond with Cui Ming. How could Kaina not be angry? After all, Vulga was one of the first machines to join Cui Ming, fighting alongside him in countless thrilling battles, enduring the baptism of blood and fire; their bond had long since become as solid as a rock.

"Ugh! I'm so annoyed!!!" Kaina roared again in a low voice, her eyes flashing with a complex light of jealousy and anticipation. She desperately wanted to have a status comparable to Bulga's, to play an irreplaceable role by Cui Ming's side. And all of this rested on her still unfinished true body, Flying One.

She couldn't help but look up, her gaze seemingly piercing through layers of space, gazing in some unknown direction, murmuring to herself, "When will my true form, Flying Sky One, be completed?!" She knew that only when Flying Sky One was completed and appeared in its most perfect form, with its powerful performance and unique abilities, could she possibly break Balga's unique position in Cui Ming's heart, and only then could she charge into battle alongside Cui Ming in future battles, becoming a pillar protecting the Earth.

Inside the cold, metallic shell of the End of Vulgar, Cui Ming's fingertips gently traced the glowing energy controller. The energy injected by Getter Emperor, Mazinger Zero, and the Great Sands was now surging through Vulgar's core circuits like boiling magma, causing the entire machine to emit a satisfied hum.

"Old buddy, I never thought you could evolve again." Cui Ming's voice carried a hint of sigh, as if he were talking to an old friend he had known for many years. He clearly remembered that from the initial transformation of Vulga into a combat machine, to the subsequent upgrades and modifications on the brink of life and death, each enhancement was accompanied by countless hardships and dangers. But now, the power casually unleashed by these three powerful beings had allowed Vulga to complete a transformation that he could not achieve even with all his efforts.

The instrument panel inside the cabin suddenly flickered violently, casting shifting light and shadow on Cui Ming's face. He stared at the steadily rising numbers on the energy gauge, his throat bobbing involuntarily. Balga's demonic wings were undergoing a second transformation; crystalline energy veins were growing from the gaps in its original metallic skeleton. The weapon system on its chest had also broken through its original power limits, increasing the Getter Ray's energy storage speed tenfold. This sudden surge of power, ironically, made Cui Ming feel uneasy.

"No!" Cui Ming clenched his fist tightly, his knuckles turning white from the force. His eyes gradually sharpened, and the figure reflected on the control screen seemed to ignite with fighting spirit. "This is not my own power." He knew all too well how fragile the power gained by borrowing external forces was. Those energies beyond comprehension rampaged through Bulga's body, like bombs that could explode at any moment.

Cui Ming took a deep breath, placing his palm on the pulsating core energy, feeling the unfamiliar yet powerful force. He secretly vowed to find a way to completely digest this power, making Vulgar truly his own trump card. At that moment, the outer shell of the End Vulgar suddenly burst forth with dazzling light, as if responding to its master's determination.

As the energy gradually stabilized, the frenzied aura surrounding the End of Vulgar receded like a tide. Its demonic wings slowly folded, transforming into metallic patterns that disappeared into its body. The energy-spraying device on its chest also calmed down and returned to normal. Moonlight shone on its silver-black shell, giving it a cold luster, no longer as oppressive as before.

“That’s right, it can recover.” Hokuto looked at the End of Vulga, who had stopped berserk, his eyes filled with amazement. Minami Yuko nodded slightly beside him, her expression also showing undisguised admiration. “That’s Cui Ming’s greatest strength! He can control such a powerful force and still remain clear-headed at all times.”

Inside the cockpit, Cui Ming loosened his grip on the control stick, his tense body gradually relaxing. His mind, previously clouded by anger and power, had cleared. He wiped the cold sweat from his brow and muttered to himself, "Power is good power, but I can't let it cloud my judgment." He knew that on the path of fighting monsters, what was more important than sheer strength was maintaining reason and integrity; otherwise, even the greatest power would only become a weapon that harms both oneself and others.
