Chapter 785 Earth is outrageous!
Cui Ming didn't tell anyone about the battle between despair and hope. After all, for Cui Ming, there was nothing he could do about it now, and talking about it would be useless, only adding to the troubles of those around him. It was better to take advantage of the absence of monsters and rest well, enjoying this hard-won peace.
Ah, in the endless years of battle, such a moment of rest is truly precious. To be honest, for Cui Ming, fighting monsters or even battling Alien Empera now feels like a vacation! You see, he has been experiencing cycles of battle every four years, and the ferocity of those battles far surpasses anything he is facing now.
In the cycle of reincarnation, every day could be a life-or-death test, with enemies constantly emerging and their strength increasing with each encounter, leaving no room to breathe. In comparison, the intensity of the current battles is really not that high, which is good. At least in Lin's eyes, these days are indeed like holidays for resting and fighting.
The Star Guides, defeated by Cui Ming, have fled to the Cube World and dare not activate the cycle of reincarnation again. No, more accurately, they have been completely locked in time and can no longer use that technology to manipulate reincarnation. Even so, they can still continuously send soldiers over, which is still troublesome. Of course, it's just troublesome; with Cui Ming's current strength, he can still handle it.
"Damn Star Guide! He's made me end up like this!" Cui Ming cursed inwardly. He dared not touch alcohol except when treating his wounds, and he also dared not smoke, fearing it would affect his reaction time and judgment. It was all the Star Guide's fault! He used to be someone who just wanted to retire and live a peaceful life, but now he was caught up in battle after battle, and could never go back to that carefree time.
Cui Ming lay on the grass, watching the drifting clouds in the sky, and took a deep breath. Regardless, he should cherish this rest time for now; who knows when the next battle will arrive?
"So, the newly born Tyrant was torn apart by the Earth's Tyrant? How terrifying."
In a tavern in the universe, where many aliens had gathered, these words were like a pebble thrown into water, instantly creating ripples. The aliens, who had been talking in hushed tones, stopped talking, their faces showing disbelief, followed by a long silence.
That's fucking terrifying.
Someone muttered a curse under their breath, and the thought quickly spread throughout the tavern. Tyrant, that was a tyrannical monster capable of going toe-to-toe with the Ultra Brothers; even a newly formed one was no pushover. Yet this formidable creature was torn to shreds by the Earth Tyrant. Just how terrifying was its power?
"The monsters on Earth are getting more and more outrageous." An alien with three eyes held a wine glass, his fingers trembling slightly. "I used to think Belial was scary enough, then Taro appeared who loved to self-destruct, and now even Tyrant can be beaten up like this by his own kind on Earth. Just how many monsters are hiding on Earth?"
The alien next to him nodded in deep agreement: "That's right. We used to dare to wander around the vicinity of Earth, but now I wouldn't dare even if you gave me the guts. What if that Earth Tyrant was in a bad mood one day and ran off to wander around? Could our planets handle it?"
“We can’t withstand it, absolutely not.” Another alien chimed in, his face full of fear. “Didn’t you see those Angela alien ships that were watching? They were wiped out in an instant, not even a speck of dust was left. These weren’t monsters, they were walking disasters.”
As they chatted amongst themselves, their anxiety grew. Unconsciously, everyone realized the truth of that saying: "Earth is the grand stage; if you're famous, come on over!" They used to think this meant Earth was a lively place, a perfect spot for all sorts of extraterrestrials to make their mark. But now, it seemed to conceal endless danger. Those who could establish themselves on Earth were either ridiculously powerful beings or incredibly resilient characters who had survived countless battles. Ordinary extraterrestrials like themselves would likely disappear without a trace if they went to Earth.
Silence fell once more in the tavern, broken only by the clinking of glasses and the roar of the spaceship's engines. The aliens gazed out at the vastness of space, their awe of Earth deepening. That blue planet, in their eyes, had now become the most mysterious and dangerous place in the universe, bar none.
Unfortunately, countless renowned beings from across the universe have been utterly destroyed on Earth.
It's fair to say that this isn't really Earth's fault. After all, no one who can establish themselves on that land is a pushover. Look at the once most famous assassin of aliens; now they're all "assassinated aliens." The title sounds convoluted, but it perfectly captures their frustration—before, they were the ones scheming against others from the shadows; now, they live in constant fear of being ambushed from some hidden corner.
Is this nickname strange to others? No, it isn't.
Seriously, anyone who deals with those ruthless characters on Earth every day would probably end up like this. You try dealing with Storm One!
Take that assassin from outer space, for example. He was incredibly powerful in the universe back then. His disguise skills were unparalleled, and he killed countless planetary leaders. Everyone trembled at the mere mention of his name. But he shouldn't have gone to Earth to join in the fun, and he even set his sights on Cui Ming.
The first time he tried, he transformed into an inconspicuous rock and squatted outside the entrance of Choi Ming's bar for three days and three nights, only to be used as a teething toy by Tyrant and nearly chewed to pieces. The second time, he was smarter and tried to poison Choi Ming while he was drinking. He had just sprinkled the powder into the glass when Choi Ming grabbed him by the back of the neck and threw him into the cosmic junkyard like a chick.
From then on, the assassination attempt on aliens left him with a chronic condition. He always felt a chill down his spine when walking down the street, and he would avoid any shadow he saw, fearing it might be someone sent by Cui Ming to "retaliate" against him. When his colleagues in the universe saw him, they would tease him, saying, "Hey, isn't this the professional assassin?" crushing his last remaining dignity.
So, Earth isn't a place any "celebrity" can just go. Countless arrogant individuals have gone there with grand ambitions, only to end up riddled with bullets or, like this assassinated alien, becoming complete laughingstocks. Thinking of this, the aliens in the tavern silently took another swig of their drink, their awe of Earth growing even stronger.
In short, Earth is outrageous!
