Ultraman: It turns out this is the easy mode.

Chapter 839 Showa Era Scoundrels Hunt Down the Space Country Bumpkin!

There is an unwritten "survival rule" circulating in the universe—the Showa era's unruly villagers are an inevitable part of the experience for all outsiders.

If you're lucky, you might just get a few wary glances and a couple of curses like "outsiders, don't wander around" before they let you go. But if you're unlucky, what awaits you is a "gift" from the villagers—hoes, sickles, and hunting rifles. None of them will be in your hands; they'll all be aimed at you and won't stop until they drive you away.

No one can really say what kind of people these villagers are: sometimes they're like a bunch of "beasts," chasing intruders for blocks with farm tools to protect their territory, their fierceness even monsters would fear; but other times they're incredibly useful, offering intelligence, providing cover, and even helping fight the enemy with makeshift weapons when Ultraman or the defense team needs help.

For example, right now, the Kahn alien has thoroughly experienced the "beastly" side of the Showa-era villagers. It never expected that it would be chased so badly just for saying something bad about Orphi!

"Damn these bastards are so disgusting!!!" The Kahn alien stumbled and ran, cursing wildly in his mind. The shouts of the villagers behind him were getting closer and closer, making his scalp tingle.

"What are you doing?! Murder is illegal!!!" The Kahn alien finally couldn't help but turn around and roar, trying to intimidate the other party with "law", but what responded to it was a scythe flying over, grazing its ear and embedding itself in the tree trunk next to it, the blade still buzzing.

"You! Calm down!" The Kahn alien's voice trembled with fear, its legs shaking uncontrollably. It couldn't understand why these seemingly ordinary villagers were acting so crazy.

"Kill him!!!" The villagers' roar drowned out its pleas for mercy. The old man, holding a machete, charged ahead, his eyes filled with murderous intent. The burly man carrying a hoe used it as a throwing weapon and hurled it at the Kahn alien. Fortunately, it dodged quickly, and the hoe hit the ground and broke in two.

"Don't let him get away!!!" The shop owner, his face flushed from running, was holding a rolling pin and muttering, "I told you they should have planted landmines at the village entrance!!! It's too much trouble chasing him now!"

"Damn it! Are all Earthlings crazy?!" The Kahn alien completely broke down, tears streaming down its face uncontrollably—it was really crying, not faking it, but driven to despair by fear.

As it ran, it frantically racked its brain, trying to recall: Holy crap! I didn't give them any performance-enhancing drugs!!! Why are these villagers so excited? Are Earthlings' "anger thresholds" really that low?
But it was no use thinking about it now. The villagers behind him were chasing after him like hungry wolves, their weapons flying towards him from time to time. The Kahn alien could even feel the shadow of death approaching little by little.

It regretted coming to Earth, and even more so, it regretted provoking this group of "Showa-era troublemakers"—if it had known that the Earth villagers were so terrifying, it would have preferred to provoke Ultraman rather than face this group of lunatics who could use farm tools as "killers"!

Of course, if they have the strength, they will definitely fight back.
but now
The Kahn aliens are afraid of exposing themselves!

But
These lunatics are absolutely disgusting!

Damn!

Believe it or not, I'll blast you to pieces with my beams! The Karn aliens can unleash two types of destructive beams from their hook-shaped hands: an arrow-shaped beam called the "Karn Ray" and a spiral beam called the "Whirlwind Jet," both of which have the power to easily destroy giant rocks.

Unfortunately, I dare not use it now.
The main concern was that Storm One would come running because of the smell! In fact, the Kahn alien knew better than anyone that if it really went all out, it could completely turn the tide and kill the villagers chasing it with its own strength—after all, it was not some weak and feeble cosmic grunt, and it held a trump card that could easily turn the tide of battle.

The problem now is that it doesn't dare to reveal its true strength!

"These lunatics are disgusting! Damn it!" The Kahn alien roared inwardly as he dodged the flying farm tools, his hook-shaped hands unconsciously clenching, his fingertips beginning to glow faintly with energy—his hands were not just for show, they could unleash two extremely destructive beams: one was an arrow-shaped beam called the [Kahn Ray], fast and penetrating, capable of piercing through thick metal like an arrow; the other was a spiral-shaped beam called [Whirlwind Jet], even more powerful, capable of easily destroying several-ton boulders with a rotating energy storm.

If it dared to use those two beams now, not only would the pursuing villagers be wiped out, but half the village itself could be razed to the ground in an instant. The sickles and hoes that flew over earlier were utterly insignificant in the face of the beams, and could even be vaporized by them.

The Kekan alien could only suppress its urge to use its light, letting the villagers chase it around with their rudimentary farming tools—it wasn't that it didn't want to fight back, but that it truly dared not!

Because it had a major concern: it was afraid that Storm One would come over just because it smelled it!

It had long heard of "Storm One" (Cui Ming)'s reputation and knew that the man was extremely sensitive to energy fluctuations, especially the energy released by destructive beams, which would instantly attract Cui Ming's attention like a "signal." If it were to use the [Kahn Ray] or [Whirlwind Jet] here, forget about dealing with the villagers; the moment the beam was released, Cui Ming would probably arrive with the Seto team. Then, what awaited it wouldn't be the villagers' hoes and sickles, but rather bombardment from Seto's fighter jets and Cui Ming's specially made energy weapons.

The Yapool were so strong before, their base was destroyed time and time again, and they were suppressed by Trevor so much that they couldn't revive; the Magma came to Earth with ambition, but they were crippled in combat by Trevor and fled in a sorry state, and were even turned into Magma spinal swords!

These examples serve as a reminder to the Kahn aliens that they should never provoke Cui Ming, no matter who they are provoking.

Even someone unfamiliar with Storm One would recognize the Magma Spinal Sword at Storm One's waist and the Fubuki Lala's Meteor Hammer.
That's pretty much it. I realized that this person was conveying some kind of terrifying message.

Its purpose in coming to Earth this time was to steal Orpheus and make him go berserk. If it exposed its strength by fighting with the villagers and attracted Cui Ming, not to mention controlling Orpheus, it would be a problem whether it could even leave Earth alive.

"Believe it or not, I'll kill you all with my beams!" The Kahn alien could only rage helplessly in his heart, not daring to utter a single harsh word too loudly, for fear of attracting more people with the commotion.

It could even imagine that if it dared to use the beam, Cui Ming would appear in front of it the next second and say in an icy tone, "Another troublemaker? Perfect, let me show you my new weapon."

The thought sent a chill down the Kahn alien's spine, and it sped up its escape, finding the shouts of the villagers behind it even more jarring—it was now caught in a dilemma: if it didn't fight back, it would be chased and beaten by the villagers, and might even be "slaughtered and buried"; if it fought back, it feared attracting Cui Ming's wrath and suffering an even worse fate.

This frustration of having the power but not daring to use it was even worse than being chased by the villagers. For the first time, the Kahn alien felt that coming to Earth was the worst decision of its life! (End of Chapter)
