Ultraman: It turns out this is the easy mode.

Chapter 925 Three were killed in an instant

Just as the mechanical arm of the Balga mech lifted the statue into the air, Cui Ming caught a glimpse of the fleeing Kirieloids in the clouds and immediately yanked open the door of a TPC assault vehicle.

The roar of the engine tore through the battlefield, and the wheels left two charred tracks on the ground as it sped off in the direction the Kirielod had fled. The Victory Team members only saw the taillights of the car disappearing into the distance. No one knew what it was chasing, and no one stepped forward to stop it. After all, no one would question Storm One's judgment.

The assault vehicle bumped and sped through the mountain forest. Cui Ming gripped the steering wheel with one hand, his eyes fixed on the faint red light appearing in the sky ahead. His other hand reached for his waist: there tucked there was a short, silver-gray blade-like tool, his exclusive Evolution Trust. Unlike the standard model, this tool had a diamond-shaped button on its side, emitting a faint blue light. It could be activated without drawing its sheath, a version he had modified for quick and decisive battles.

"Trying to run? Not so easy." Cui Ming stared at the increasing distance in the rearview mirror and slammed on the brakes. The tires screeched against the ground, and as the car lurched backward, he nimbly flipped out of the vehicle and quickly hid in a dense grove of trees—the thick foliage here would completely block his view and prevent him from being detected by the TPC troops in the distance.

Without hesitation, he pressed the button on the Evolution Trustor. With a soft "click," light burst forth from the Evolution Trustor, instantly enveloping Cui Ming. The light carried dark, gunpowder-like patterns—marks left from countless battles—but these were firmly blocked by the dense foliage, not a single wisp leaking out into the forest.

As the light faded, the fifty-meter-tall battle-damaged Nexus stood silently in the forest: its silver-gray body was covered with deep and shallow scratches, a testament to its battle prowess!
Without pausing, he leaped up with his right leg, using the trees as cover to quickly ascend into the air and chase after the fleeing Kirieloids—the entire transformation process took no more than ten seconds, and no one in the distant TPC ground forces or the Flying Swallow in the air noticed the appearance of the Titan.

The Kirieloids were still desperately fleeing, completely unaware that those chasing them were no longer human. The battle-damaged Nexus rapidly approached through the air, its elbow-mounted cutting blades gleaming coldly, and its chest energy core suddenly lit up—the "purge" of the Kirieloids had only just begun.

The Kirieloids fled to the skies above a deserted mountain range, the sound of anti-aircraft guns behind them long gone, their figures completely obscured by the clouds. The leader breathed a sigh of relief, adjusting his flight posture while sneering at his companions: "Human technology is only this much. Those anti-aircraft guns looked dense, but they could only hurt us. That was quite a shock. Indeed, a barbaric race, needing divine guidance."

“Exactly, once we’ve built up our energy, we’ll destroy the pyramids next time and see how they resurrect the giants.” Another Kirieloid chimed in, rubbing his shoulder where he’d been hit by a cannonball, his tone full of disdain. “But that human called Storm One was a bit of a problem. We’ll have to figure out how to deal with him next time.”

Just as they were chatting idly, completely letting their guard down, a sudden ripple of airflow came from the clouds on the right—the next second, a silver-gray figure slowly emerged from the clouds, still carrying lingering light particles around it, it was the battle-damaged Nexus that had come chasing after them!

His body was covered in scratches of varying depths, some of his armor even embedded with black battle debris. The slicing blade on his left arm gleamed coldly, and the energy core in his chest flashed with rapid red light. Each wound seemed to tell a story of countless brutal battles. This was no newly awakened novice warrior, but a "battlefield butcher" forged in blood and fire!
"Th-what is that?!" The Kirieloid on the far right was the first to spot it, his voice instantly changing, his entire exoskeleton tensing. The other two followed his gaze, and the next second, their blood seemed to freeze—they certainly recognized Nexus! Even though the body before them was battered and bruised, the unique armor patterns and the oppressive aura were exactly like the legendary Warrior of Light who could tear through the darkness!
"It's Nexus! What is he doing here?!" The leader's voice trembled, all previous arrogance gone. They knew better than anyone the terror of this dark warrior—after all, in the legends of the Kyrielords, Nexus was a dark warrior, and the scarred body before them was not weak at all, but rather exuded an even more suffocating power of intimidation, a killing intent honed through countless battles!
At this moment, the Kirieloids felt like they had encountered a ghost in the dead of night—they had already escaped to safety, but had run into something even more terrifying than the human army! They even forgot to gather energy to fight back; their bodies reacted first, turning around and diving into the depths of the clouds at three times the speed when they were being chased by anti-aircraft guns. They only wished they had two more pairs of wings.

The battle-damaged Nexus didn't immediately give chase, but hovered in place, the energy core on its chest slowly stabilizing. It watched the direction the Kirieloids had fled, its elbow-mounted slicing blade slightly raised—their earlier relaxed chatter was merely their final "dream," and the hunt was only just beginning.

The battle-damaged Nexus hovered in the air, watching the Kyrielords flee in panic. Without the slightest hesitation, he directly extended his arm, forming a cross of colorful energy that intertwined into a beam of destructive power—one of his ultimate techniques, "Reincarnation Epic"!
The colorful beams of light surged forth like a tidal wave, moving so fast that the Kirieloids had no time to react. The two running behind felt a burning pain in their backs, and before they could even scream, they were completely engulfed by the beams. In the instant the light exploded, two blinding sparks flashed in the air, followed by only dissipating energy particles, leaving not even a trace of exoskeleton remains.

"No!" The last Kirieloid turned around and saw his companion instantly killed, terrified out of his wits. He desperately accelerated, even burning his own energy to gain more speed. But no matter how fast he was, he couldn't outrun Nexus—the battle-damaged Nexus pushed off the ground with his right leg, his body shooting forward like an arrow, his thick right arm cutting through the air to grab the Kirieloid's shoulder!

With a crisp "crack," the Kirieloid's exoskeleton was instantly crushed, and dark red blood seeped from between his fingers. He struggled frantically, pounding his hands against Nexus's arm, but couldn't even leave a scratch—the battle-damaged armor, though covered in wounds, remained remarkably resilient.

Nexus gave his opponent no chance to resist. He slammed his left hand down on the Kirieloid's head, pinning it firmly in front of him. Then, he clenched his right fist and, with a whooshing sound, slammed it into the Kirieloid's chest! "Bang!" Another loud bang rang out as the Kirieloid's exoskeleton shattered completely, its internal organs crushed by the force of the punch.

He tried to muster his last bit of energy to counterattack, but Nexus's fists rained down on him, one punch after another striking the same spot, each blow accompanied by the cracking sound of bones breaking. Soon, the Kirieloid's struggles grew weaker and weaker, until finally it fell completely still, its body limp in Nexus's hands.

Nexus released his grip, watching the corpse fall from the sky. He then raised his hand to disperse the light particles surrounding him—the three Kirieloids were instantly annihilated. He glanced down at the cooling corpses on the ground, the energy core in his chest slowly dimming, then turned and flew away from the TPC forces, leaving no trace of his identity. (End of Chapter)
