At the bottom of Tongtian River, deep in the water dungeon.

This place is three hundred miles deep, and there is no light or moonlight for ten thousand years, and no spiritual energy can be found in a hundred years. Undercurrents are surging, and the cold water and rotten air are bone-chilling and heart-corrosive.

I don't know when, who and who set up this place.

It can attract countless underwater rotten water, corrosive air, and cold air into the prison, completely turning this dark water prison with a radius of dozens of miles into a place with poisonous and turbid water.

It was also the day when the Chaos Bell rang out near Tongtian River.

There were eight water monsters over ten feet tall, grunting as they carried a purple-gold chariot made of eight water treasures. They broke through the water waves and expelled the poisonous cold miasma from the water on both sides. They actually carried a wheelless chariot that was nearly ten feet in size into the water prison.

Wait for him to come and transfer the ownership.

He ignored countless restrictions and formations and entered the depths of the water prison.

As soon as the chariot landed, eight water monsters who were at the level of Xuanxian appeared, as if they were poisoned by the Three Lives Poison. Their bodies turned green and corroded from head to toe, and finally turned into a pool of poisonous water.

After a short while.

Wait for the rotten and cold water blooms around it, and slowly wash it away.

Just then, the front curtain of the Water Spirit Eight Treasures Purple Gold Chariot was suddenly lifted, and along with the thumb-sized water-repellent beads, miasma-clearing beads, evil-dispelling beads and other precious beads on the curtain, streams of light suddenly appeared and swayed. Finally, a graceful water girl walked out of the chariot.

When this woman appeared in the world, all the poisonous and cold lights around her actually took on a bit of glory.

"...Master, I'm here to see you."

She slightly opened her pearly teeth, and beneath her gorgeous bun there was a ball of inexplicable water light, which flashed between the lips and teeth of the water girl and sank deeper into the water prison.

After waiting for a while, there was no response.

The water girl said again, "Master, did you hear the sound of bells and chimes earlier today? That was the person you mentioned earlier, who has come to my Tongtian River."

"Master, don't you want to see the monkey?"

"You are so outspoken! You are not allowed to call me a monkey." The water girl's words finally elicited a response from someone deep in the water dungeon. The surrounding water lights hummed and a sound was heard, "To be honest, it's appropriate for you to call him uncle."

"Speaking of which, my Jiejiao has existed for countless years, and there is no one more person."

"Now that he's here, I really don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing. Have you done what I asked you to do before?"

Hearing Hongsheng's question, Shui Nu nodded naturally.

Later, she remembered something and said repeatedly: "The master has given detailed instructions, so how could I make any mistakes? The pilgrim took it, and the several arhats and bodhisattvas who came later also took it one by one. I didn't go to see my uncle, but..."

"Nothing but!"

"His Buddhism owes me Jiejiao, but I Jiejiao does not owe his Buddhism! If that Buddha doesn't like it, just come to my Tongtian River Water Palace. If anyone can invite the Tathagata, it would be great! I want to see who will come to rescue Tang Monk."

As he said this, a golden jade light like a golden hoop floated out from the depths of the water prison and landed steadily in front of the water girl.

But then the voice said, "Take this golden hoop and wear it on your forehead. It will protect you completely. If there are people who are blind and want to see my Jiejiao Shangqing Dafa, this golden hoop also has its own mysteries."

"Go ahead. If the monkey goes into the water, you can treat him as your own family member."

After the words were spoken, for a long time the only sound left was the sound of the water.

After waiting for a while and seeing that there was no movement in the depths of the water prison, the water girl sighed softly and turned back to the carriage.

Later.

The wheelless chariot moved without wheels and without wind, and soon broke through the miasma and turbid cold on both sides, and headed far towards the Tongtian River.

Wait until the carriage goes away.

Suddenly, there were whistling and swallowing sounds coming from the depths of the water prison. Every whistling sound swallowed up all the water miasma and coldness within a radius of 100 miles. After three breaths, even more severe, poisonous and cold air was spewed out of the water prison.

The water is endless and the waves are endless.

However, it did not disturb the slightest ripples or Taoist rhythms a hundred miles away. Such a strange differentiation was as if the water prison before them was a world of its own, with its own atmosphere and rules.

……

Unnamed mountain.

At some point, Sun Wukong transformed into a real and fake body.

This made Zhu Bajie look at him in a daze for a few times, but he couldn't tell whether the Sun Wukong in front of him was the real Sun Wukong or an incarnation.

Under the eyes of the law, there is no difference at all.

"Brother Monkey, are you willing to come out?"

"What are you talking about? Go, go, go and cut down some wood and build a house. I want to see what else they can do."

As he spoke, Sun Wukong made a move.

The Chaos Bell that was about ten feet in size in the air instantly shrank to an inch in size and fell to his waist.

The golden pupil that dispels illusions looks around.

Seeing that there was no monk or immortal there, Sun Wukong could not help scratching the monkey hair on his arm and muttered, "How boring. I was thinking about giving you guys a good lesson, but one of you didn't come."

After giving up one true and false body, Sun Wukong naturally would not be reluctant to give up the second one.

If there was a god or Buddha in front of him to persuade him, Sun Wukong would really like to give it a try and blow up his real and fake bodies.

Let’s see what happens!
pity.

There was no immortal god at all, to come and see him, Sun Wukong. This was very strange.

"Brother Monkey, you are talking lightly. I don't know how many gods and Buddhas were frightened by that incident before. It's not like they are tired of living. But I just came to you at this time. It's not that I am blind, I am just waiting to be picked up by you."

"Brother Monkey, you have died once, but have you ever figured out what the Buddhist laws and precepts are all about?"

If only it were possible.

Zhu Bajie didn't want to be remembered by Tang Seng every day.

Although Zhu Bajie wanted to enter Buddhism and use the Buddhist fortune to practice, thinking, doing and being forced are not the same thing.

It is possible, and Zhu Bajie naturally wanted to overturn this constraint.

"Old Sun would like to... but unfortunately, there is no response at all."

After a pause, he saw Zhu Bajie casually summoning a gust of wind to break and snap some useful old wood around him and sweep them to the top of the mountain. He said, "If I am not mistaken, this method and this prohibition are most likely the work of those two from the West."

"How is that possible! Brother Monkey, don't forget the Taoist's order..."

"It is true that Daozu has issued an order, but there are always loopholes. They only refined treasures and performed forbidden sacrifices, and they have never attacked you or me. To be honest, how have they ever disobeyed Daozu's order?"

It is true that the several saints in the prehistoric world are now going to prison in chaos in disguise.

However, Daozu's order did not restrict their fists and feet.

Who says that people in prison cannot compose poetry, play the piano or write books?

They were just two saints from the West who wrote the Palm-leaf Codex and made a Buddhist treasure, which was specially prepared for those who were seeking Buddhist scriptures!

There is no way to avoid it. Even an innate treasure like the Chaos Bell cannot be defended against.

If it wasn't intentional.

Guess whether Sun Wukong believes it or not.

Get up in the morning to work and rest at sunset.

Just like an old farmer in the mountains, he had been toiling for ten days. When he woke up early this morning, Zhu Bajie was finally too lazy to take care of his "idle fields" and "millet vegetables". He just sat on a cushion made of flower branches in the yard, looking at the gradually rising Dongyang, without making any movement for a long time.

Until there appeared a Sun Wukong by his side.

It was not until he heard the sound of Sun Wukong chewing the fruit that Zhu Bajie suddenly reached out to his side, "Brother Monkey, give me some fruit too. I'm hungry too."

"I'm hungry. Why don't you get up early and find something to eat?"

He casually threw a few fruits to Zhu Bajie. Seeing that he was not in high spirits, Sun Wukong suddenly said, "You idiot, it's only been ten days and you can't be idle anymore? If you succeed in obtaining the scriptures, what will you do if you can be idle every day in the future?"

Isn't it just lying down and letting things go? What's the big deal?

Compared to the chaotic Kundun world in the Wahuang Palace, where everything is blurry as far as the eye can see, the leisurely mountain scenery here is much better.

I'm really bored, so it would be nice to take a look at the magical powers and techniques inherited from the various jade books.

Don’t care about the rising and setting of the sun, and don’t care about all kinds of spiritual practice.

Sun Wukong has long been used to it.

If it weren't for the journey to obtain the scriptures, Sun Wukong would now be lying in wait in some corner of the mountains, lying flat on his back.

I will never cause trouble and I don't care at all about how the world changes.

Just wait until one day, when you have accumulated enough experience in cultivation and become the Hunyuan Daluo Jinxian, then you can talk about other things.

Sun Wukong has plenty of this kind of patience.

"What else can I do? I just need to practice every day. Brother Monkey, I have seen you for so many days, and you have never practiced meditation. If you keep doing this, then when will you become a quasi-saint Hunyuan? When will you become a saint or Hunyuan?"

"If you can't become a saint, you can't become a mixed Yuan. With your temper, Brother Monkey, and the karma in your life, I'm afraid that in the future..."

When Zhu Bajie thought about it, he started to worry about Sun Wukong.

It is really.

Over the years, Sun Wukong had caused too much trouble. If someone else had been in his place, he would have died a thousand times over.

It is because of the right time and the favor of heaven and earth that Sun Wukong can live so freely.

If it were after the journey to the West, Zhu Bajie really didn't think highly of what would happen to Sun Wukong.

"We'll talk about it later. If they can defeat the Chaos Bell in my hand, they can come and seek revenge on me."

"Old Sun is used to not eating vegetarian food!"

Do you really think monkeys have no temper and are good-tempered?

It's just that there is a system, there are saints and great religions in the world, and he really can't afford to provoke them.

Otherwise, the sky will be overturned by you!

If you want to cover the monkey’s eyes and act like a monkey, you can try it!
"Brother Monkey..."

"I've been hearing about that Bodhisattva over there for so long, why don't you come out and see him?" Zhu Bajie was about to say something when Sun Wukong on the side suddenly narrowed his eyes, stretched out his hand towards the southeast sky, and hooked his finger, "Why, you can't recognize this Bodhisattva after just ten days?"

"This is not like you and other Buddhists!"

Don’t say it, Buddhism is the best at forbearance.

Just wait for the day when luck will come, just wait for the day when good fortune will accumulate enough, then you can become a Buddha or an ancestor.

It is not uncommon for one to be reincarnated three or nine times for this reason.

"Sun Wukong! You passed!"

The one who came to see Sun Wukong was not someone else, but Tara Bodhisattva who had always been with Tang Monk.

Seeing many Bodhisattvas and Arhats go to Tongtian River to look for the Three Buddhas, and never come back, Sun Wukong, after tossing himself around and blowing himself up, killing many gods and immortals, suddenly appeared again, and was lying on the top of the mountain farming as if nothing had happened.

It looked like he had no intention of rescuing people from the river.

After ten days or so, Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie showed no signs of movement, so Tara Bodhisattva finally couldn't bear it anymore.

Even she knew that Putuo Mountain in the South China Sea had opened its gates.

He even sent an arhat to the South China Sea.

But in the end, after receiving the reply from Venerable Hui'an, Tara Bodhisattva did not continue to wait for Guanyin Bodhisattva to come out of retreat, nor did he go to Mount Lingshan in the West to ask to see the Buddha. Instead, he showed up to see Sun Wukong.

Just because, she also knows how to recite Buddhist rules!
"Old Sun hasn't crossed the river yet, where can I cross it?"

"What this Bodhisattva said is very interesting. I don't know where he came from, and I don't know where he is going. Are you looking for me, Sun? Is there something wrong?"

Sun Wukong sat lazily on the cushion, without any intention of getting up, and he did not hide the laziness in his words at all.

This angered Tura Bodhisattva, who wanted to recite Buddhist scriptures right away to show Sun Wukong how powerful he was.

However, after seeing Sun Wukong go crazy with the Chaos Bell last time, Bodhisattva Tara still had some caution in his heart.

He added, "Sun Wukong, don't talk nonsense with me! You are a person who has gone on a pilgrimage to seek Buddhist scriptures, so what are you doing now? You know that Tang Monk has been swept away to Tongtian River by monsters, so why are you sitting here idly? This is what you are doing, and it can be said that you have fulfilled your duties!"

"Hurry up and save that Tang Monk!"

"Don't be so lazy."

Tara Bodhisattva wanted to persuade Sun Wukong to go to Tongtian River to save people just by talking.

This made Zhu Bajie, who was standing by, look at the Bodhisattva and then at Sun Wukong. Seeing that Sun Wukong was about to say something, Zhu Bajie couldn't help but speak first, "Don't worry, Bodhisattva. Monkey King and I have been waiting for the right time. When the time comes, we will naturally go back to save people."

"Bodhisattva, don't be impatient, just wait a little longer."

Zhu Bajie's words were a tactful way of giving Tara Bodhisattva a way out.

Unfortunately, this Bodhisattva can't get down at all!
He just stared at Sun Wukong to see what he would say.

"If the Bodhisattva wants to save people, just go. I am not good at swimming, doesn't the Bodhisattva know that?"

"What a poor swimmer! Sun Wukong, let me ask you one more question, are you going to save Tang Monk or not?"

Seeing that the face of Tara Bodhisattva suddenly became extremely unfriendly, Zhu Bajie was very nervous. He wanted to say something but was interrupted by Sun Wukong, "No! I don't like people who want to die. If the Bodhisattva thinks someone is suitable, then he can go."

"Old Sun, you are not that stupid."

"Good! What a fool!"

It seems that Sun Wukong still dares to talk nonsense to his family and says that he will not save Tang Seng no matter what.

Tara Bodhisattva was too lazy to say anything more to the monkey. He just thought about it and recited the Buddhist precepts silently.

He wants to teach Sun Wukong a lesson!
This time, Tara Bodhisattva vowed not to stop until Sun Wukong had died in pain three or five times.

However, after silently reciting all the Buddhist laws and precepts, Tara Bodhisattva was confused and startled when he saw that Sun Wukong was fine, half lying and half sitting on the cushion, without any feeling of pain, numbness or itchiness at all.

I even doubted for a moment whether I had remembered the Buddhist laws and precepts incorrectly.

Or.

Because Tang Seng was in the Tongtian River, the palm-leaf Buddhist scriptures on his body were obscured by some formation or restriction, which made Sun Wukong so fearless!

No matter how he thinks, no matter how he recites, Sun Wukong is unobstructed.

Just three or two breaths.

This made Bodhisattva Tula sweat on his forehead. (End of this chapter)
