Tao and Heaven

Chapter 269: Enlightenment of the Yuanying, Achieving the Tao and Becoming a Buddha

Chapter 269: Enlightenment of the Yuanying, Achieving the Tao and Becoming a Buddha
The heaven and earth began to disintegrate, and the sky was torn off like a piece of paper.

It was just like the Buddha being stunned. He did not expect that a mortal woman could break the trap he had set. However, the aura emitted by this woman's three souls and seven spirits was no different from that of a mortal.

The only feature is that it has a bit more of the Qingcang aura.

If she could hide her strength in front of him, she would not be restricted by the laws of heaven and earth, and would not have to stay in Wuwang City to save her life.

The two saints of heaven and earth cannot control the immortals. This is one of the laws of heaven and earth. Those who transcend do not leave a book of life and death, and saints are not within the five elements.

If the laws of heaven and earth could be violated at will, then it would be easy for Gu Wen to resurrect her.

So how can a mere mortal break through the pure land of Buddha?
It was as if the Buddha looked at Gu Wen, with wisps of Taoist charm dissipating, like an endless figure relaxing its body and tearing apart the pure land of Buddhism.

There is nothing magical about the Taishang Meditation Sutra. It is just a mental method to break through illusions.

This mortal woman did not have the power of a saint, but she recited the mental method, so he destroyed the pure land of Buddha.

"Nothingness is nothingness, and there is eternal silence. When there is nothing to be quiet about, how can desire arise?"

The goddess continued with the next sentence, and the wedding procession began to disappear, and the town in the distance turned into a handful of yellow earth.

Gu Siju and Gu Wuhen disappeared into thin air. Gu Ernu, who was fighting with Chiyuzi, fell off his horse and laughed while lying on the ground, "You are so good. You can recite a sentence of the Pure Heart Sutra and we will disappear, but the desire will not go away."

Gu Sanyou looked at the half of his body that had disappeared, and sighed, "Does reality really matter? If it can't be perfect, why should it be unreal?"

Gu Daxi smiled bitterly and shook his head, saying, "It's fine to just live through a thousand years in this dream, so why bother?"

The seven emotions are united and the six desires are unified.

The goddess in heaven never descended to the mortal world. Her eyes were fixed on Gu Wen from beginning to end. She continued to chant in a cold voice: "When there is nothing to be quiet about, how can desire arise? When desire does not arise, it is true tranquility."

Gu Wen stared deeply, then slowly closed his eyes. As soon as his eyes closed, the world darkened.

Recite silently in your heart, your thoughts are like thunder, flattening all the Buddhas in the sky.

'The true constant responds to things, the true constant obtains the nature. The constant response is always calm, and the constant is pure and calm.'

'With such tranquility, one gradually enters the true path. Once one enters the true path, it is called attaining the Tao.'

As soon as the word "Achieve the Tao" was uttered, the heaven and earth completely collapsed, and the aura of the goddess disappeared.

That's why I don't want to see you, either it's fake or I can't do anything about it.

This dream is about your expectation of existence.
-
That year the Taoist was forty years old, had reached the eighth or ninth level of his Taoist roots, and had not yet achieved immortality.

The Great Xia Dynasty was just established, and it was the beginning of a prosperous era.

Under the jujube tree in the courtyard, Li Yunshang, Yu Hua, Gu Wen, and Chi Yuzi sat around a small table and brewed tea.

As usual, Gu Wen was caught by his master to discuss "how to build a harmonious society". In fact, he couldn't come up with any good ideas about this, as everything was practiced by great men in previous lives.

In a hypothetical tone, he used Daqian as a model to compile a process of how to move from a feudal society to a capitalist society.

To use a more common term, merchants are respected and workers are the priority.

"If there is a mentor of a harmonious society, when he sees feudalism, he will definitely ask them to do some capitalism."

After hearing this, Li Yunshang couldn't help but chuckle and asked, "My disciple, do you mean that merchants should be better to the people than the king?"

"Merchants are not much better than nobles, but merchants will go bankrupt if they do not manage their business properly."

"You mean to let the power flow? But the monks have great power in their bodies. Even if they are not good at governance, they will not give up power easily."

“This requires the master to establish an institutionalized ruling body.”

"How to institutionalize it? Rules are made by people and can always be changed. No matter how noble the reasons are, they are no bigger than the size of a fist."

"Yes, Datong is almost impossible."

Gu Wen nodded in agreement, and took the opportunity to instill in the "saint" master in front of him:

"The purpose of cultivation is to be free and at ease, so why should I care about other people? As the saying goes, when you see injustice, you should draw your sword to help, but it doesn't make sense that I need to draw my sword to help all the injustice in the world."

Li Yunshang smiled and just pinched Gu Wen's face without saying anything more.

As a disciple, he has the sage's teachings in his mind, but he does not have the heart of a sage.

If her ambition is not to achieve world peace and her heart is not with the people of the world, she will not force it.

"The more capable you are, the more work you should do. As a teacher, you should do as much as you can."

"Individual heroism is unacceptable."

"I feel that I was also raised on grains. How can I be considered a human being if I want to help my fellow countrymen? Do I have to be as strong as me to stop being a human being if I do good deeds?"

Li Yunshang was extremely intelligent and had already learned Gu Wen's rhetoric and refuted it.

"Disciple, you are obsessed."

"Tsk..."

Gu Wen looked away and turned to Yu Hua, changing the subject: "Did you cut your hair?"

Yu Hua covered her face and chuckled. Although she knew he was trying to change the subject, she still nodded obediently and said, "I cut a few places off, otherwise they would drag on the ground when I squatted down."

She tied her hair into a simple high ponytail with a wooden hairpin, revealing her white ears, making her look particularly heroic.

"But if I go out like this and get into any unnecessary trouble, I used to cover it up."

As she spoke, Yu Hua took off her hairpin, then divided her hair into two parts, tied them into loops, and made them symmetrical and hang flat on both sides.

A simple double bun is sometimes also called a maid's bun.

Yu Hua suddenly became a little duller, from being extremely conspicuous to being extremely conspicuous. Gu Wen said bluntly, "Not so good-looking anymore."

Hearing this, Yu Hua did not feel angry like other women, but explained softly:

"Appearance is a double-edged sword. It can make me squeeze into a higher-level circle and become a vase. I don't want to be like this, but I can't stand it, so I use various means to cover it up."

"Since I joined the Dao Sect, I have rarely shown my face in public. The only time was at the Tianxuan Conference, where there was a rule that I could not hide my appearance."

Gu Wen asked: "And then you met a lot of suitors?"

"Why do you always care about these superficial things?" Yu Hua was a little annoyed. Then Li Yunshang, who was chewing a rice cake beside her, also asked curiously, "Girl, how are those people compared to my apprentice?"

"..."

Yu Hua sighed helplessly. This master and disciple were very similar in some ways: they were always out of tune.

She naturally ignored the question and said, "At that time, I tried my best and barely made it into the top 500. And Chi Yuzi took second place that year, only one place behind Xiao Yunyi."

As he spoke, Yu Hua rubbed Akabane, who was speechless and deaf.

The divine thought came in and repeated it.

Akabane's delicate face was expressionless as she transmitted her thoughts, "Although Sister Yuhua was ranked only 500th back then, I think she ranked first in terms of appearance."

"How dare you tease me."

Yu Hua grabbed Chiyuzi and flicked her forehead. Chiyuzi didn't feel any pain and continued, "Sister Yuhua has a great figure too, soft and tender. She's not fat, but she feels plump to the touch."

The sound reached the ears of others, and Li Yunshang reached out her hand without hesitation and reached into the wide Taoist robe, which immediately caused Yu Hua to exclaim in surprise. She said in shame and annoyance:
"Master, what are you doing?"

Li Yunshang turned to Gu Wenbao and reported: "Immortal product! Disciple is blessed."

Gu Wen turned away somewhat embarrassedly, he didn't have such a dissolute master.

Seeing this, Li Yunshang patted his shoulder and laughed, "Be careful if you do this, or someone will use Yu Hua to provoke a demon in your heart. If you don't satisfy your desire, you will be lacking."

Yu Hua said: "I have taught Gu Wen a method to resist his inner demons."

"If you can resist it, it's not called a demon. At most, it can only be considered as some desires."

Li Yunshang shook her head, changing her relaxed tone to a serious face and said: "If you encounter a demon in your heart in the future, remember not to indulge in lust. The seven emotions and six desires, joy, anger, worry, fear, hatred and desire, keep the word desire in mind and all demons will not invade."

Yu Hua was obviously a good student. He straightened his posture and asked, "My disciple is stupid. Please teach me, Master."

"People's appearances vary according to their hearts, but the fundamental similarities remain the same. We can transform our hearts into parents, brothers and sisters, form a family, and share the inner demons."

"A father is the eldest of the family and should be influenced by cultivation. An elder brother should protect the younger ones, and we should be the youngest."

Li Yunshang raised a finger, and with a rather heroic face, he repeatedly emphasized: "The inner demon is causing trouble. Running away for a while can make you feel better for a while, but running away constantly will bring endless benefits."

Yu Hua was slightly stunned. Is this what Immortal Qingcang should say?

Gu Wen had already gotten used to it.

His master was an unrivaled immortal, but he only hoped that his descendants would run away when they encountered danger.

Yu Hua said: "Master, no one can escape forever."

"You don't need to run away for your whole life. Just wait until I arrive." Li Yunshang replied, then she thought of something and patted Gu Wen.

"But I probably won't live for many years, so I'll depend on you when the time comes. I don't ask you to protect the people, but you have to protect Yu Hua and the others."

"..."

The atmosphere darkened, and Yu Hua immediately said as if jokingly: "I have always protected him, and now it is time to repay my debt."

Gu Wen nodded seriously and said, "From now on, I will definitely protect you, even if I die."

"Pfft... Why do you act like you're going to die in the next moment?"

Seeing how serious he was, Yu Hua couldn't help but chuckle, and her smile gradually became more tender.

"You will only be caught by others if you do this, and it will also delay your cultivation. I hope the avenue will come before me, not after me."

"Because only practice can make us omnipotent."

Before the Taoist achieved enlightenment, she said that the Tao is supreme and I am the only one who can practice Taoism.

After the Taoist achieved enlightenment, she said that the way of compassion is better than the way of cruelty.
-
The tip of my nose was surrounded by the aroma of incense, and when I opened my eyes again, I was already in the Buddhist temple, in front of the golden Buddha.

A woman in plain clothes stood in front of him, holding back the golden Buddha's light with such force that it was like a pair of invisible hands trying to twist the golden Buddha off.

Akabane is on the left, and on the right there is a nun wearing a platinum robe.

Gu Wen seemed to have had a very long dream, with a faint light in his eyes.

In a trance, yin and yang begin to change, the misty heaven and earth suddenly spin, the Great Way is infinite, and from extreme stillness, movement gives rise to movement.

The Taoist master Qi Hai put his hands together and a strand of hair grew out, one inch long, then three inches, then six inches, and finally nine inches.

It is called Yuanying, born from thoughts and fulfilled by wishes.

You must have the utmost aspiration, like the Buddha, before you can refine the Nascent Soul.

"Amitabha, has the donor attained Buddhahood?"

The voice of the Buddha is as distant and sacred as a bronze bell in a temple, yet a hint of urgency can be detected at the end of the sound.

If I can save Hunyuan, what does it matter if I disappear?
Buddha is merciful and loves Gu Wen.
