Chapter 118 Farewell to Scamander
During dinner, Wade met Newt's wife, Tina Scamander.

Even though she has entered old age, she is still a beautiful woman with charm. Her white hair is tucked behind her ears. She wears a fitted dark green dress. Even the way she spreads butter on bread looks very elegant.

Mrs. Scamander only needed to glance over and both the respected Newt and the somewhat naughty Rolf would sit obediently at the dining table, waiting for dinner.

Life in the Scamander household was interesting in another way.

Almost every morning, everyone would come together to take care of the various animals in the suitcases.

I don’t know if it’s because Scamander is also famous among the magical creatures, but some animals will come to him for help when they are injured or in trouble.

Wade had only been here for a few days when he saw two horse-shaped sea monsters entangled in fishing nets, a sea snake that accidentally swallowed a plastic bag, and an invisible beast that was burned by something unknown.

Newt is also proficient in various animal rescue spells, and he can even perform surgery and deliver babies!
There are also some small magical creatures that regard this place as the most ideal paradise and are unwilling to leave even if they have escaped from their predicament.

They acted like little kids, and Newt had no way of resisting them. He could only let the little guys stay until they wanted to leave.

So over the years, even though Newt has always insisted on releasing magical creatures back into the wild, his suitcase has never been empty, but has become more and more lively.

Vader felt like he had completed several years of Care of Magical Creatures classes here.

In his free time after lunch break, Newt would teach Wade how to improve the space in his pencil case.

He also took Wade to the nearby Jurassic Coast, splitting off a small piece of beach and sea water and moving it into the pencil case;
Then a small piece of forest was moved in from the mountains and forests, and he was taught how to connect the two different spaces together.

Then, weather spells were cast on different spaces, otherwise the environment would deteriorate rapidly. However, in order to prevent the environments on both sides from affecting each other, an isolation spell was needed.

The isolation spell must have a physical boundary. Even if it is just a fence, a curtain, or a stone, the spell can be effective, but a completely empty space will not work.

In just over a week, Vader's wardrobe space has undergone tremendous changes.

In an area slightly larger than a swimming pool, sea water washes over the beach, and hermit crabs crawl slowly among them;

Although everything seemed so small, the once empty space finally had a bit more vitality, and Newt was full of praise for Wade's learning speed.

The letter stated the time and place of the train, still departing from King's Cross Station on September 1st, and then there was the list of books for the second grade.

With the exception of The Standard Book of Spells (Second Level), the rest of the long list is written by Gilderoy Lockhart.

There is no doubt that this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts professor is still the flamboyant peacock.

"They are all Gilderoy Lockhart's books!" Rolf showed an admission letter and said with a smile, "Me too!"

Wade was surprised: "You have already received the acceptance letter... Are you eleven years old?"

Rolf looked small, and he had always thought that the child was less than ten years old, no more. "Of course!" Rolf proudly announced, "I turned eleven last month! Wade, let's go to Diagon Alley to buy books together."

"Okay," said Wade, "Let's go to Diagon Alley together on Wednesday."

"Wednesday?" Rolf looked back at the calendar. "Is there anything special about that day?"

"There's a new book launch for Gilderoy Lockhart," Wade said with a chuckle. "I'm looking forward to it."

"Wow! I didn't realize you were a fan of Lockhart!" Rolf exclaimed in surprise, "Do you really think his smile is charming?"

"...What smile?" Wade asked curiously.

"Of course it's the Witch Weekly Most Charming Smile Award. Lockhart has won it five times."

Rolf curled his lips: "Don't be angry if I tell you... I don't think his smile is charming at all, but rather very... uh... very..."

"Very exaggerated?" Wade reminded.

"Yeah, that's it!"

"I don't care whether his smile is charming or not." Wade explained, "I just think that there will be more people in Diagon Alley than usual that day, and maybe something interesting will happen."

"Oh, I see." Rolf nodded. "Then I'll go on Wednesday too... I also want to see with my own eyes why so many people like him."

Time flies, and it's Wednesday in the blink of an eye.

Wade packed his luggage early in the morning, and after breakfast, he thanked and said goodbye to the Scamanders.

"I promise, Mr. Scamander," Wade said solemnly, "I will never use what I learn from you to harm magical animals."
