Chapter 120 Diary

Malfoy was so angry that his face turned red, but he couldn't defend himself. His past deeds were there, and no one believed that he didn't do it on purpose.

"A poor family can only produce such poor tricks!"

Malfoy snorted and waved to his son, and the two of them left quickly.

"You shouldn't pay attention to him, Arthur. This guy is so bad..."

Hagrid advised as he smoothed down Mr. Weasley's robes.

Ginny Weasley, who had fallen, hurried to pick up the books scattered on the floor, among which was a set of books Harry had given her -

The price of the complete set of books published by Lockhart was ridiculous, and even if one emptied the Weasley family's coffers, one still couldn't afford to buy a single copy.

The Weasley brothers and Harry helped her pick up the books, and soon they were all put away. Then a strange hand handed her an old textbook and asked, "Is this the last one?"

"It should be... Thank you."

Ginny took it quickly, feeling a little sad that she had to use only such an old thing.

She suddenly realized that the voice sounded unfamiliar, and when she looked up, she saw that it was a boy she didn't recognize.

"You are……"

"Wade?" Harry said happily, "Are you here to buy books today too?"

"Yes." Wade said naturally, "I heard that today is Lockhart's new book launch. I am a little curious about this adventurer."

"What kind of adventurer is this?" Ron complained, "He's just a boastful peacock!"

"Don't talk nonsense!" Hermione immediately retorted: "Have you read his books? Gilderoy Lockhart often goes on adventures in uninhabited places and deals with the most dangerous creatures!"

Ron's mouth slowly opened, looking at Hermione, who looked exactly like his mother, as if he had seen a dragon dancing.

"Wake up, Hermione. You can tell at a glance that guy is just a pretty boy!" Ron shouted in disbelief.

His words made many Lockhart fans around him glare at him. If he was not a child, he would definitely be beaten up.

Hermione was also very angry: "Don't slander him! Mr. Gilderoy Lockhart is a very brave man! He can even defeat a werewolf single-handedly!"

Harry's expression became a little unnatural when the word "werewolf" was mentioned. He quickly interrupted, "Okay, let's stop arguing about this. Wade, have you bought all the books?"

"Yes, I'm ready to go back." Wade waved his hand: "See you at school."

……

Steven sent Wade home before leaving. When Wade opened the door, he saw that the house was empty and there was no one.

He knew that the Grays had organized the company's employees to work overtime today to complete an urgent order, so he was not surprised not to see anyone.

After returning to the bedroom, Wade took out his pencil case and tapped it with his wand.

This level of use would not trigger the Ministry of Magic's monitoring of the trace thread.

The pencil case unfolds layer by layer and then transforms into a suitcase.

Wade opened it and found several boxes of different sizes at the bottom of the box. Only one of the boxes had something in it.

He opened a flat box and pulled out a black notebook.

This is a very old diary, and the faded date on the cover is fifty years old. Opening the first page, you can see a vague name:

Tom Marvolo Riddle.

The same name also appeared above the diary in his eyes.

Wade picked up his pen and wrote a line on it:

[It is not our talents that make a difference in the progress of the world, but how we use them.] The words flashed on the paper, then were absorbed and disappeared without a trace.

Then, new words appeared on the paper:

[It’s been a long time since I met someone who has the same ideas as me. I guess you must be a talented little wizard. ]

The words flashed, then disappeared, and then a new line appeared on the paper:

[It’s just that people like us often don’t get understanding and recognition. I used to be very lonely. Are you the same? ]

——I’m sorry, I don’t have the heart to talk to you.

Without hesitation, Vader stuffed the diary into the box.

As soon as the lid was closed, the magic chains began to move on it, winding around and around, forming a vine-like pattern, and finally fixed itself in place.

Place the journal farthest from the crown.

Although both Horcruxes were tightly sealed in boxes shielding magic, Vader still felt a sense of urgency.

——It’s time to find a way to deal with the Horcruxes… at least get rid of one first…

To prevent them from affecting each other and producing some kind of magical resonance, thus escaping from the blockade.

……

At 6pm, the Grays finally returned, and they packed two boxes of pizza from a nearby restaurant.

"It's really troublesome to rush the order. If he wasn't an old customer, I wouldn't pay him the overtime pay."

Ferdinand untied his tie and said, "Wade, you've been waiting for a long time, haven't you? Why didn't you watch TV for a while?"

"I read for a while. I bought new textbooks in Diagon Alley today."

Wade helped his mother take the coat and hang it on the hanger.

Ferdinand placed a briefcase on the table and said, "Here's what you wanted... Wade, use it well and don't put yourself in danger."

"I understand, Dad," Wade said.

"What is it?" Fiona asked curiously, "I asked your father on the way, but he refused to tell me."

Wade smiled and said, "These are the magic materials required by the school. There are fly eyes or toad eggs and the like. Do you want to see them?"

He pretended to open the box, and Fiona immediately jumped behind her husband and shouted with her eyes closed:

"No, no, no, don't open it! I'll have nightmares if you see it!"

Ferdinand tapped his son on the head and Wade smiled slyly.

After dinner, he returned to the bedroom and opened the suitcase.

The small box was filled with personal resumes, which included basic information such as photos, names, personalities, family members, etc. There was also a transparent specimen collection bag on top, which contained three or four strands of hair.

These are the "magic materials" that Ferdinand collected for him, most of which came from prisoners in prison. Some of them looked very dangerous just from their appearance, while others looked harmless.

Some are from barber shops or hospitals. The people in the photos include men and women, old people and children.

It is easy to collect hair, but it is not easy to collect the information of the owner of the hair, especially if you cannot hire someone else to do this crucial task.

It took Ferdinand a long time to collect so much bit by bit. As for the Polyjuice Potion, Wade had already brewed a large pot last semester.

Even Dumbledore couldn't tell the real person from the fake one who had used the Polyjuice Potion, as Barty Crouch had already proved to him.
