Pokémon's Lord of Fear

Chapter 442 Kayako's On-the-Spot Teaching

The American version of Ju-Grudge has some improvements over the Ju-Grudge series, but there is actually a little-known fact, that is, there is actually an updated work of the American version of Ju-Grudge, called "New Ju-Grudge", and Teng Shu went to watch it out of curiosity and expectation. After watching it, Teng Shu just wanted RNM to return his money.

It can only be said that the plot of the new Ju-Grudge has little connection with The Grudge. If we have to say something, it is probably that Kayako shows up, and then it is a traditional American horror movie.

The entire plot of the new Grudge can only be described as outrageous.

The plot of the new Ju-Grudge begins with a caregiver. Then this unlucky white-human female caregiver went to Kayako's house, and then she realized something was wrong and walked out. But this time Kayako appeared behind her, and Kayako's hand reached out from the garbage bag next to her and grabbed her, which made the female caregiver scream.

And then Kayako’s role ended here.

Then the scene changed, and the female caregiver returned to her hometown in the Lighthouse Country, and happily hugged her family. The house where this female caregiver lived was also Room 44.

The scene then changed to a classic single mother. The other party was a female police officer who took care of her child alone. The heroine was also assigned to work in a new police station. The heroine's boss told her that there was a car accident and took her to the scene. After arriving at the scene, they found an accident car in the woods with a rotten corpse in the car, but the face of the corpse was very hideous, as if it had been extremely frightened before it died.

It was also from this case that the main plot of this new Grudge was introduced.

After conducting some background investigation on the corpse, the heroine's boss discovered that the corpse had been to Room 44 before his death. Room 44 was the home of the female nurse who returned from the island country. At this time, the boss didn't want to take care of the case.

At the same time, the boss sternly warned the heroine not to explore the matters in Room 44 casually.

But as we all know, in horror movies, the more something is not allowed to be done, the more people will do it. These characters are like people with water in their brains, they can never control their curiosity, and people who know some secrets will never explain it clearly for the first time no matter what.

So the heroine went back and started investigating what happened in Room 44. Then, through news reports on the Internet, she learned that a family massacre had occurred in Room 44 before. The female caregiver killed her own child, stabbed her husband to death, and finally died.

So the bold heroine naturally went up to seek death. She went straight to Room 44 and planned to ask the current owner of Room 44 to see what was going on. After knocking on the door, the heroine found that the door was not closed, so she walked in directly. When she came to the kitchen, she saw an old woman. This old woman was also a professional American horror film star. She often came in and out of here and played various roles.

The other party was chopping something, which made the heroine curious, so she went over to check, and found that the other party was actually chopping her own fingers, which surprised the heroine. She turned her head and found that another household owner, a black man, was dead behind her, his body was rotten and there were maggots all over his body, and the old woman was screaming wildly. The heroine felt scared and ran out to vomit.

The heroine naturally would not give up at this point, so she immediately ran to her boss's house and asked about the matter of Room 44. It was also here that the heroine learned that an old senior who had investigated Room 44 had gone crazy and was directly admitted to a mental hospital because of his investigation of Room 44.

At the same time, other people who participated in the investigation also died. Even some people who just went to deliver milk or passed by the door of room 44 were cursed and lost their lives.

The boss sternly warned the heroine not to go in and not to get involved in what happened in Room 44.

The heroine naturally didn't listen, not to mention that she had also gone in, so she continued to investigate, and then found out that before No. 44, there was a real estate agent who also died because of Room 44. Shortly after entering No. 44, the other party killed his pregnant wife and then committed suicide.

As the heroine investigates, a scene about an agent comes into view. The agent encounters a ghost in the bathroom and then encounters supernatural phenomena at home. The real estate agent realizes something is wrong and plans to terminate the contract. However, he encounters a caregiver and his family who have turned into ghosts. They are possessed by the ghost and do those things.

Teng Shu felt very bored when he saw this, because this so-called new Ju-Grudge, although it used a small part of the theme of the Ju-Grudge at the beginning and added Kayako, but afterwards it basically told a standard routine of a traditional American horror film, a very ordinary and clichéd story.

When watching this so-called new "The Grudge", Teng Shu always had a feeling of watching other American exorcism movies. Although there was no exorcist, the routines were similar, and the methods of scaring were just those sudden face scares, trying to make you feel sick.

After reading the agent's story, the heroine went to find the unlucky guy who entered the mental hospital. When the other party saw her, he told her that she would die as long as she went in, and that the female ghost would come to find the heroine sooner or later. The unlucky guy also told the heroine how to get rid of these hallucinations, which was to dig out her own eyes.

The heroine was frightened, and at this time the film began to explain what happened to the female corpse in the car before.

The other party was an euthanasia employee who was responsible for euthanasia. She came to No. 44 and met the black landlord who was not dead yet. The other party wanted the employee to help his wife with euthanasia, but because the old woman's mental state looked abnormal, euthanasia was not possible. She had no choice but to stay for a few days at the request of the black landlord.

In the supermarket, the employee saw the little girl ghost and ran back in fear. Then she met a policeman who was not completely crazy yet. The policeman shouted that there was a ghost. The woman also rushed back home. At this time, the black landlord told the final truth. The woman wanted to leave, but the old woman stabbed the black landlord to death and then cut her own fingers. The woman was so scared that she drove away.

He saw a ghost in the rearview mirror on the road and was so scared that he died in the woods.

The heroine has also come to haunted house No. 44. She has seen ghosts many times at home during this period, which makes her realize that she is being targeted. In order to survive, she plans to burn down the haunted house. There are also some scene re-enactments and some jumpy scares. In the end, the heroine's son even comes out and tries to stop her from doing it, but the heroine still sees through the trick and sets fire to the haunted house.

However, this involves a problem that all old fans of the film know.

Can burning down the haunted house stop Kayako?
In the original version of The Grudge, someone once thought about setting fire to the haunted house, but was stopped by Kayako for various reasons, so it was never burned down. And for this reason, fans at the time thought that as long as the haunted house was burned down, the curse could be stopped and more people could be prevented from dying here.

However, in the American version of The Grudge directed by Takashi Shimizu, Takashi Shimizu added some settings. In the first part, the heroine burned the Grudge. As a result, the Grudge still exists, and it seems to have become more dangerous and easier to spread.

So burning down the haunted house can't stop Kayako, but the heroine doesn't know that. At the end of the film, the heroine hugged her son and told him to go to school, but her son replied to her from behind and happily left home with his schoolbag.

The heroine realized that the person she was holding might not be her son.

The heroine slowly turned her head and saw the little female ghost. She was also dragged away by a female ghost pulling her hair.

The film ended.

After watching this movie, Teng Shu's biggest feeling was that it was a poor imitation. The overall structure of the movie gave Teng Shu the biggest feeling that it was a poor imitation and was extremely boring.

Although it borrowed the name of "The Grudge" and had Kayako make a cameo appearance, it is essentially just an American horror story told in the guise of "The Grudge", and it is also filled with a large number of speechless scenes.

I don't know if the director felt that The Grudge was a chaotic narrative story with a messed up timeline, so during the filming process, the other party learned this trick and the timeline became chaotic, but this is not the essence of The Grudge.

The reason why "The Grudge" is so scary is that the various timelines are closely connected, and the background setting, color matching, and the progressive order of the characters' emotions are what make this movie scary. However, this movie obviously did not grasp the essence of the Grudge and is just a work that imitates others without any effort.

After watching the movie, Teng Shu quietly removed it from the "Ju-Grudge" movie series. After all, in Teng Shu's opinion, although such a work has the name of "Ju-Grudge", it is actually an American horror film. If Kayako is replaced by a haunted house devil or something that often appears in American horror films, it will have no impact at all.

"Begin!" Following the words of the executive director, the entire set immediately began to enter the shooting state. At this moment, the scene being filmed was the one where Kayako's sister began to exorcise the devil.

In order to make the exorcism ceremony look more authentic and harmonious, Teng Shu also specially consulted some religious organizations in this world, and then received a lot of suggestions, which also made the exorcism ceremony of the whole movie look more serious.

The actress in white was performing attentively. In the dim corridor, Kayako was lying on the ceiling with a distorted face, watching the scene quietly. Teng Shu looked at Kayako and the corners of his mouth twitched.

There is actually not much role for Kayako here. I don’t know whether it is because Kayako can’t beat her own sister or for some other reason. Anyway, Kayako does not go out to the imperial city to PK against her sister herself, but instead manipulates an unlucky guy to go out and let the other person be possessed by the anger of Takeo Saeki.

However, Teng Shu felt that it was probably because Kayako could not beat her own sister. The evidence was that the other unlucky guys were possessed by Takeo Saeki and tortured for a long time, completely repeating the tragic situation when Kayako died before. This was considered their final death.

But here Kayako directly killed her own sister.

Of course, it can also be said that Kayako has a deep sisterly love and is reluctant to let her sister suffer too much.

The unlucky guy possessed by anger walked out, and his sister noticed something was wrong, but he was completely irrational. Regardless of the beautiful exorcist's advice, he killed Kayako's sister in a cruel way. When his anger dissipated, he realized what he had done wrong and began to tremble.

At this moment, Kayako's sister had rapidly transformed into a new curse, and came over directly, fluttering over. Teng Shu felt a strong sense of fright here.

Because in this part of the plot, the unlucky guy was still sitting beside the corpse feeling upset, and then he saw with his own eyes the Onmyoji he had killed staggering towards him with a very strange posture, and there was no place for him to hide in his position at that time, so the unlucky guy could only watch the new curse crawling up.

"This posture is a little stiff." Kayako squatted beside Teng Shu and talked to Teng Shu. After hearing this, Teng Shu's mouth twitched. He glanced at Kayako and wanted to say to her, 'You can't use your standards to demand others.' After all, other people are only human beings and cannot do so many difficult moves.

"If it were you, how would you perform?" Teng Shu looked at Kayako curiously. After hearing this, Kayako showed a smug expression and then performed for Teng Shu on the spot.

He even went out on his own, shouted "cut", and then went on to perform himself.

I have to say that Kayako's ability is really top-notch. Even though there was no background music and there were many people present, they all felt a very strange feeling, and all the hair on their bodies stood up.

When Kayako twisted her body in such a strange way and came in front of the unlucky actor, the actor's neck was choked a few times and he fainted, which made Teng Shu stunned.

Good guy, Teng Shu exclaimed. Good guy.

Are these guys so timid? However, looking at Kayako's weird posture, Teng Shu felt that there seemed to be nothing wrong with this. After all, Kayako's appearance was indeed too inhuman.

"Teacher, how did you do such a move?" Not to mention the actor who was being rescued, Kayako did meet a little fan girl. The actress who played Kayako's sister looked at Kayako with admiration, and Kayako was happy to teach her. Teng Shu looked at this gentle and kind scene of Kayako with some strange emotions in his eyes.

Kayako doesn't really look like an evil spirit. Why does it feel like Kayako has become more and more like an ordinary person after following me?
But it’s okay this way. This is probably the kind of life Kayako likes.

Teng Shu patiently waited for the actor to wake up before continuing the filming. He couldn't wait to see what the audience thought. (End of this chapter)
