Pokémon's Lord of Fear
Chapter 496 A brand new movie mode?
Jiang Zhiyun just remembered at this moment that the person sitting here painting was not Lao Zhao's daughter at all. After she killed Lao Zhao's daughter, she gained Lao Zhao's daughter's ability and could see those wronged souls and listen to their stories. It was also she who drew these things here and sent them to herself.
When the police officer arrived at the Xingfu Community, he found it dark. Then he saw Jiang Zhiyun, who even planned to attack the police officer. Although the police officer was at a disadvantage at the beginning, he later found an opportunity and fought back against Jiang Zhiyun. Jiang Zhiyun knew that he could not be a match for the police officer with a gun, so after saying a few words, he looked at the wall.
The police officer was also very confused, and he looked at the wall. After looking at the wall, the police officer found that what he had done to his assistant before was marked on the wall.
It turns out that the assistant's previous death was not suicide.
Maybe it was because the assistant mentioned that he had a daughter who was about to be born. Anyway, the wronged spirit of the little girl did not kill the assistant. Although he had already held the trigger, he still did not press it. The police officer took the opportunity to take the gun from the assistant. The angry police officer scolded the assistant and beat him.
Then something funny happened.
As the police officer was shooting, he suddenly touched the trigger or something, and he shot his assistant to death with one shot in the head. The assistant fell in a pool of blood. The police officer heard the sirens outside and was very panicked. In order to protect himself, he deliberately created the illusion that his assistant committed suicide. When the assistant saw the gun in his hand, he shed tears of blood.
So in fact, it was not the assistant who committed suicide at that time, and the police officer was trying hard to defend himself in front of Jiang Zhiyun, and even wanted to kill Jiang Zhiyun in anger. As a result, as soon as he raised his hand to aim at Jiang Zhiyun, a hand grabbed his hand. The police officer turned his head and found that the assistant who turned into a ghost was looking at him coldly, and then controlled the police officer's hand and pointed the gun at the police officer's own head.
The police officer finally felt fear and regret. He kept calling his assistant's name, but it was no use. The gun still fired, and the police officer was shot in the head. The final movie scene turned into a cartoon style. Around Jiang Zhiyun were countless wronged souls telling their own stories. The whole movie ended like this.
Teng Shu feels that the movie "Murderous Comic" is actually quite interesting, but the reversal of the ending has polarized the reputation. Some people think that such a reversal is very abrupt and incomprehensible. After all, it stands to reason that Jiang Zhiyun has seen the truth drawn by Lao Zhao's daughter, so according to the previous logic, Jiang Zhiyun should also die from the revenge of Lao Zhao's daughter.
But Old Zhao's daughter forgave Jiang Zhiyun, and even shed tears after Jiang Zhiyun shed tears of regret.
This is more subtle. Whether the evil ghost kills people or not depends entirely on the evil ghost's attitude. This seems a bit trifling, and the accidental discharge of the gun at the end also seems a bit deliberate. However, Teng Shu thinks this is actually understandable.
After all, if you count the entire murder comic carefully, excluding those plots that have been glossed over, the overall ghost storyline actually consists of five parts. The first part is the female team leader and her mother, then Lao Zhao and Lao Zhao's wife, then the assistant and the little girl, then Jiang Zhiyun and Lao Zhao's daughter, and finally the assistant and the police officer.
There is not much to say about the first paragraph. The mother of the female team leader obviously had a very deep disgust for the female team leader. She did not even give the female team leader any chance. She just slashed the female team leader's face, making the female team leader as unrecognizable as her, and then killed the female team leader.
This is also related to the female team leader's resentment towards her mother, her failure to save her mother, and even her turning her back to her mother and shouting, "Mom, just go to hell." The female team leader's mother was already disheartened at the time, and naturally had no feelings for her daughter, so she chose this way of torture.
There are controversial points in the plot about Lao Zhao, and the controversy lies in the fact that Lao Zhao took care of his wife for five years. If there were more portrayals here, such as Lao Zhao completely ignored and even abused his seriously ill wife, or Lao Zhao only took care of his wife for a month and wished she would die, then there might be less controversy.
The screenwriter obviously knows that caring for a seriously ill person in bed is painful, but he doesn't know much about this pain.
Teng Shu had seen such cases before he traveled through time.
At that time, Teng Shu lived in his own home, and his neighbor was a gentle man who went to work every day to earn money. He was not married yet and lived with his parents.
Then there was a period of time when Teng Shu saw this elder brother, the other party's face looked very bad, and the whole person revealed a kind of neurotic and abnormal feeling. Later, when he asked, he found out that this elder brother might also want to find someone to complain to. Only then did he know some of the situation at that time.
The eldest brother's mother had problems with her cerebellum and her legs and feet were not good. It was nothing serious at first, but then she fell. She didn't have any broken bones, but after that she developed all kinds of problems. She went to the hospital four or five times, but the examinations couldn't find out what was wrong with her. After returning home, her legs started to feel sore and weak every night, as if there were a lot of bugs crawling in them. Then the eldest brother's mother started swearing every night, swearing at the doctors and the eldest brother. In a few months, his mother became almost skin and bones, and the eldest brother was tortured to the point of going crazy.
I can't sleep every night and have to go to work during the day. My old mother has bad legs and feet, so I can only ask for leave from my boss. I am scolded by my old mother every night. Listening to my mother say that she would rather die and want to die is a torture for a filial son like my eldest brother.
Just three months was enough to torture the eldest brother, let alone Old Zhao who had been taking care of his wife who was seriously ill in bed for five years?
That's why Teng Shu felt that the screenwriter's handling of this story was not very good. For example, Lao Zhao's wife had been seriously ill in bed for five years, but Lao Zhao did not run away and did not show any tendency to abuse her. He was already a good man, so there would be more controversy here. After hesitating for a moment, Teng Shu decided to add a plot in which Lao Zhao abused his wife, which would make this story more normal.
In the third paragraph, no one died. This also shows that after reading the comics and being able to see ghosts, there is still a chance to atone for one's sins. For example, when the assistant mentioned her unborn daughter, it was obviously the fact of her daughter that softened the ghost of the little girl, and that's why she let the police officer take away her gun.
The same is true for Jiang Zhiyun herself. She was forgiven by Lao Zhao's daughter because she had helped him at all costs before. After all, the relationship between Lao Zhao's daughter and Lao Zhao was not good at that time. For Lao Zhao's daughter, Jiang Zhiyun was almost the only person who cared about her. She was not a relative but better than a relative. That's why she survived. Otherwise, if Jiang Zhiyun was a person who forced and beat Lao Zhao's daughter to draw cartoons for profit, the grass on her grave would probably be three feet high.
As for the last police officer, if he had not thought of blaming the assistant and committing suicide, but had admitted his mistake with tears and then turned himself in, the assistant would not have been so resentful, and even shed tears of blood. At that moment, the assistant had no intention of letting the police officer live. In general, the basic concept of good is rewarded with good and evil is punished with evil in the Confucian cultural circle is still maintained, but the evil here is given some strange attributes, such as whether revenge depends on the ghost's own thoughts. The little girl and Lao Zhao's daughter finally chose to give up revenge because of some things. In addition, although these ghosts exist, they are actually controlled by illusions.
This can be seen from the death of Lao Zhao, but the power of this explosion is indeed a bit outrageous.
"I remember someone interpreted it before, saying that these were not ghosts but human nature, and the one who killed them was not a ghost but Jiang Zhiyun. Jiang Zhiyun's second personality came out to commit the crime." Teng Shu thought of another interpretation and his face looked a little strange.
This statement is based on some plots in the movie. For example, when the female team leader died, Jiang Zhiyun was photographed appearing nearby, and the plot of this part of the movie is a bit vague, and it does not say what Jiang Zhiyun was doing at the time.
In addition, Jiang Zhiyun herself actually has a dual personality. One personality is the normal Jiang Zhiyun, who only remembers some vague things but cannot remember the past. The second personality is Jiang Zhiyun who can hear the wronged ghosts telling their own stories. The other party drew comics and sent them to the first personality, and it is also possible that he did other things.
The female team leader and Lao Zhao both died at the hands of Jiang Zhiyun. Jiang Zhiyun overturned his car and was caught by his assistant. But there is a problem here. Why was the assistant manipulated by the evil ghost to commit suicide? This doubt has become a drawback of this statement and there is no way to explain it clearly.
So strictly speaking, you just need to treat this movie as a normal horror movie.
"But this murder comic is quite interesting. The rhythm, atmosphere and music are all good. Compared with the Girls' High School Ghost Story, the shooting style and picture quality of the murder comic are also better." Teng Shu has some opinions of his own about this movie, and the subject matter of the murder comic is relatively novel, so strictly speaking, it is still quite good.
Although there are some startling and frightening scenes in this film, they are relatively less in number, and more emphasis is placed on creating atmosphere, which is also what Teng Shu believes is the future development direction of horror films.
Although the jump face scare is simple and effective, if it is used too much, it will lose some of its flavor. The audience's level of fright will only be for a moment and will not be recognized.
However, Teng Shu did not care about these things. After all, he had already written the script, and "Evil Ghost" was about to be released, so Teng Shu gave it to a director from a subordinate branch company to shoot. This way, it would not affect the high reputation of Ghost Pictures, which it has currently achieved.
Although it is very difficult for a film company to maintain a high reputation, Teng Shu still wants to give it a try. What if it succeeds? If it succeeds, then Ghost Pictures will also make history.
With nothing to do, Teng Shu yawned, lay on the bed and scrolled through his phone.
[A brand new movie mode is about to debut! Will the super-powerful technology break the technological monopoly of Ghost Pictures? ]
A piece of news popped up, and Teng Shu clicked on it out of curiosity, and then he saw that a peculiar film company claimed that it had developed a new film shooting technology, which was twice as effective as Teng Shu's external camera, and was cheaper, and could bring a full-scale immersive experience to the audience.
This immediately aroused the curiosity of many people. After all, everyone is very curious about what kind of technology is better than Teng Shu's? You know, Teng Shu's new model has basically become a benchmark in the world's film industry. Basically, there is no better way of shooting than Teng Shu's. As a result, someone has come out to challenge him, which naturally attracted people's attention.
"Interesting." Teng Shu was also a little curious, but he was more amused in his heart. He didn't quite believe that anyone could surpass him. After all, all of Teng Shu's work was achieved through system plug-ins. If it weren't for the system plug-ins, this thing would basically not appear in a short period of time.
The technology in the past was basically limited to VR, which used VR glasses to achieve an immersive effect. However, this effect also needed to be paired with some chairs and the like, and it was easy for people to see that there was a problem. Of course, the biggest feature was that some movies used VR settings and received praise from some people.
And those so-called super-powerful movies are often achieved through some strange methods, which have very high requirements on the content of the movie itself. After all, how to balance this issue is very troublesome.
If the audience wants to immerse themselves in the movie, what role should they play? The protagonist? But if they play the protagonist, they can't move around freely, and it will be very troublesome if they just watch.
After all, the filming scenes are actually different. Some places are produced through special effects, and in some places you can even see the stage staff and the camera, so how to solve these problems is also a problem.
The same is actually true in the Pokémon world, so Teng Shu thinks it is outrageous that this guy said that the effect is stronger than his own, and there has been no news before. However, Teng Shu is indeed very interested in this. After all, if it is really effective, then the filming of movies can enter a new era. Although Teng Shu thinks it is unlikely, if future movies reach this point, then it is basically equivalent to making the movie into a game, allowing players to explore freely in it, which may be a little more realistic.
"Let me see, what is this called? Pizza Pictures?" Teng Shu's expression was a little strange. (End of this chapter)
